Don't Waste Your Time
I never actually got to stay at this location. I purchased this place in May and the day of arrival the HOST canceled on us. We were 9 hrs from home, I had made multiple attempts to reach the host and she never responded to me. I would not trust using this place or the host. When I called VRBO, they noted she had been active on her acct. several times within the last few weeks. This is not a person she is a scammer. Best of luck to those who take the chance. I should have read the reviews better!!

Owner cancelled day of
We were literally on our way to Chicago for a family trip when the owner cancelled after I messaged for more details on the check in process. We booked 2.5 months ahead, paid, and everything was confirmed by owner. We also received check in information a couple days ahead of our stay. I also messaged the owner a month prior to verify the booking. Despite all this, we got a cancellation the DAY of our arrival. This was a disaster for our trip, as I had to spend the entire drive there looking at other options. With it being last minute our options were limited so we had to stay farther away from where we wanted, plus spent way more than we had anticipated. Apparently the owner double booked using another site, and I never even got a personal message from her but just an automated reply. This was incredibly frustrating and shouldn’t be allowed to happen.

One star rating
Family vacation for new year eve weekend with my 80 year old aunt, mother and sister! the host had good communication until I checked the host stopped communicating with me.. i have nothing nice to say.. kitchen had old dried up pieces of food on counter and stove. fridge/freezer was dirty with stings of hair in it. Shower curtain lining had other ppl body dirt on it & long strings of hair in the tub main bedroom bed has a dip in it and is really hard. The screen door was bent and would not close. One roll of toilet paper was provided when I told the host my concerns she told me to find another place to stay I have nothing nice.

Needs work
Good location for us. HORRIBLE beds...Amazon basic beds are cheap, please invest in decent mattresses. Bedroom light switches don't work and the front screen door should just be removed. Besides these glaringly obvious issues, this COULD be a really nice VRBO.

Fast drive to coffee
The stay was great in all. The dryer was broken. The downstairs neighbor man was cool. Driving 30min to Chicago city was nice . Super close to tinley park amphitheater for concerts . Tenet was quick to respond . Some floor damage near sliding glass door . Enjoyed our stay.
