OYO rooms' great experience
There were no reviews for OYO rooms in this hotel called Le Cadre but I booked anyway because I needed to stay in the area of Kailash Colony to attend my two-week practice at Sivananda Yoga Center. To be cautious I had booked only for five nights initially but the things turned out great so I extended my booking for another nine days. I liked everything about the hotel: my clean, cozy room, very friendly and helpful staff, respectful receptionists. Btw the wireless connection in the hotel was really strong and reliable which could rarely be found in other hotels. I earlier stayed in Madhuban hotel in Greater Kailash and their Internet was poor. OYO rooms brand is an innovating idea that is beneficial for customers and hotels. It's getting very popular in India and not without a reason. I am going to look for OYO rooms again while planning my travels to Kolkata and Puri. Even if there are no reviews for them I won't hesitate to book a OYO room again based on my positive experience that I had at Le Cadre.

ok, close to metro
its okay and close to a metro. price is okay. But there are not clear policies re: things like late check-outs, etc. When those things come up after the fact, the decisions are made in the favor of the hotel. Also they are slow; it took me an hour to check in, an hour and a half to check out. Sometimes their credit card machine accepted my American card and other times it didn't. A lot of these things could be due to the cultural gulf between an American traveling in India and in more expensive hotels these issues never come up, but they cost more. I guess you have to decide how much a few hours of being stressed out means to you. I was extremely stressed out, both after checking in and after checking out.
