Located on the side of a jungle-covered mountain every room in our villa has a fabulous view of the Pacific ocean and Dominicalito Bay. Immediately adjacent to a green belt on the top tier of the Canto del Mar (Song of the Sea) gated community, it is safe, secure, and rich with wildlife .
Villa Serena, decorated with a delightful style, is the highest on third level on the hill. The dropping view to the beach, the bay and the surfers, Cano’s island in the back ground, with above a majestic trees, make this scenery a perfect frame for the perfect vacation picture.

Notre séjour fût fort agréable, la maison n'est pas neuve mais bien entretenu. Un merci special à Marco à la gate qui nous acceuil avec le sourire et Omer toujours disponible pour nos besoins Si on choisissait encore cette destination nous choisirons encore cette endroit

Wonderful time but
It was a fabulous trip. It was a great location and for the most part well equipped. We did have an air conditioning issue that was taken care of timely. Unfortunately we arrived on Saturday, New Year’s Eve and the service could not be preformed until Monday. Totally understandable and was corrected in a timely fashion on Monday as host promised. The only draw back ( in my opinion) to the property was a lingering musty, moldy closed up odor throughout the house. Without

Excellent Property and Location!
We LOVED our stay here. Canto Del Mar is a beautiful, well-manicured and well-run complex with friendly staff and a gated, secure environment. The location is close to everything we love about the Costa Ballena: Dominicalito Beach is right across the street (I loved the walk down the hill and stroll along the quiet beach with friendly Tico homes - but some of us found the walk back up a bit strenuous!); Pozo Azul waterfall/swimming hole is a few hundred yards from the complex; Dominical and its excellent bars, restaurants, and surf shops is 3km to the north, and Uvita with grocery stores, banks, restaurants, a national park and much more is about 10km to the south. Lots and lots of great activities. The property itself is private, well-kept, clean and was perfect for our needs (me and my wife and two young adults). Everything we wanted was there. Olmer, the property manager, was excellent. He met us at the property at check in, and gave us a helpful tour. When we had a minor issue with a clogged kitchen sink, he was right on top of it and it was fixed immediately. Truly an excellent stay. We will stay here again when we have the chance!

Easy
We rented this condo for the location - close to us, the beach, restaurants. After we checked in, we discovered there was no water. The concierge had not left the compound yet so he returned promptly, turned a knob and we had water. Then we discovered the upstairs toilet leaked. After we had left for dinner. We cleaned it up and put a towel under the toilet. Our family arrived, hugs, kisses and good nights after a full day of traveling with 2 very young children. The next morning the leaking water was all over the entry way. A plumber was called, a trip to the hardware store and all was good. The ice maker, I am sure due to ICE going off and on was one giant block of melted cubes. It would have been nice to start with a clean freezer of ice cubes. We notified the concierge that the screen on the door to the patio was ripped and flapped with the breeze. It was not repaired. The pack n play had an older, schmooshed uneven pad. They purchased a new one. Plan to provide your own soaps of all kinds. The dishwasher pods seemed to have melted in to liquid.

Appartement propre mais peu accueillant
Dans l’ensemble, nous avons fait un séjour agréable mais l’appartement sentait l’humidité. Les climatiseurs des chambres sont vétustes. Équipement minimaliste: petite télévision au salon et aucune dans les chambres, minuscule bbq au charbon, literie usée, pas de barre de son pour la musique. Par contre, très belle vue.

Amazing!
A truly amazing experience. The villa is spacious adequately equipped with everything you need to cook with, plenty of towels and linens as well. The location is supreme, with a stunning view! Can not wait to return.
