home away from home
The cottage was absolutely perfect. It has everything need you'd need for a relaxing trip and then some, in an ideal location with great hosts. And a special shout out to Andrea who was amazingly welcoming, going out of her way to take our daughter to see the horses which she loved! Would definitely stay again.

Great property in fab location
The property was even better than it looked online! We loved the huge garden and we had family over for a BBQ. It was a great location for us and we'd love to stay here again. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

My stay at Tobergill
The property is so beautiful! The flowers in bloom. The garden around the house and out in the front yard. All gorgeous. Two of the sweetest dogs love to greet you when you return from an outing. They are extremely friendly. Horses on sight as well. Peter and Andrea are two of the nicest people you can meet. If I’m back in the area (from Kansas USA) I would definitely stay here again!

Tobergill cottage holiday
We had a lovely stay at Tobergill Cottage. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was very comfortable which felt modern and clean. Large comfortable lounge to relax and watch TV if you want. Modern kitchen which is well equipped. All in all a very pleasant stay in lovely surroundings. Our stay was very relaxing and quiet but not far from shops and local amenities. Highly recommended.

Lovely and quiet cottage
We arrived after a busy day of travelling and felt right at home. The hosts are lovely to meet and were generous with their time. They were great at making good suggestions when we asked. Would be happy to stay again!

Holiday
We had a lovely stay at Tobergill Cottage. Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful garden and grounds. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Lovely living room / dining room. Bath and shower in the bathroom. Dog friendly. I had my little dog with me. Very near to Groomsport and Donaghadee for visiting.

Home from home
This is our second stay at Tobergill and we absolutely loved it! Super friendly and helpful hosts. Made us and our dog Oscar welcome straightaway. Great location and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing staycation. We will be back again :-)

Family Celebration Visit
Lovely property on the outskirts of Bangor and close to lots of amenities. Owners were very helpful and provided everything that we needed. Would definitely consider staying again as it is a great base for exploring the area.

Beautiful location
Outstanding cottage. Garden and surrounding area great my 8 year old really enjoyed the garden and the rope swing. Would highly recommend. Groomsport not far from property.

Beautiful cottage and garden (dog friendly)
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and extremely well equipped cottage. A friendly welcome and a thoughtful welcome pack were much appreciated. We enjoyed using the wood burner stove which made the living room extra cosy. Logs of wood can be purchased at the village shop. It was a delight to visit the stables and see the horses. The cottage has lovely garden areas and it is located within a short distance of Groomsport, Donaghadee and Bangor. Within easy access to small and large shops and many tourist venues. We had our dog with us so eating out wasn’t really an option but there was a wide choice of various types of food for ordering online to be delivered. We highly recommend Tobergill Cottage and would love to stay again! (Lack of wi-fi connection in the living room was our only slight issue)

Excellent place to stay
Beautiful place to rent. Peter was there to greet us and show us around. The house itself is immaculately clean and well laid out with everything you need. Location is brilliant, close to the beaches and a large town for shopping. The grounds are well kept and our dog loved it. I will be back some time soon

Lovely get away
Lovely property, lovely location, lovely hosts, We had such a peaceful time in a tranquil location. We had our small dogs with us and they loved the outside space. We had everything we need and Peter was quick to respond to any questions. We had lovely local walks on the beaches too :-) Would highly recommend

Very Relaxing Break / Excellent property and Hosts
A perfectly located property to explore Northern Ireland's beautiful coast. Beautiful coastal towns nearby with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The cottage was spotless and hosts very welcoming.. Would definitely book again and feel lucky to have experienced such a relaxing break.

Rural but accessible retreat
My wife and I had a lovely stay at Tobergill for a week with our two dogs. Couldn't have been more welcoming from arrival. Cosy yet spacious house with good sized living/dining room and lovely kitchen. 5 minutes from shops surrounding Bangor, 10 mins from restaurants and centre with Belfast only 30 mins away too. Donaghadee beach just 5 minutes the other way, a popular spot for swimming and paddleboarding in the sea. Lovely coastal walk from there too. Would recommend.

Great home away from home
We had such a relaxing holiday at Tobergill Cottage. From communication with the owners from point of booking right through a beautiful welcome pack for us and our dog, and once we there making sure we had all we needed, we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome! The house is beautifully decorated, and well appointed, candles and a fire to make it cosy and great access to patio, with barbecue and chairs, to a gorgeous sunken lawn and field for the dog to run! We walked down to Groomsport and the beach a few times and ate in the lovely local pubs and restaurants. A great location for exploring Down and the Ards Peninsular but equally a great location for a relaxing walk to a gorgeous sandy beach. Will look to stay again and couldn’t fault the whole holiday! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Beautiful cottage
Peter and Andrea amazing hosts; cottage had everything we needed and it’s proximity to beach and town makes it the perfect getaway. Definitely recommend and hopefully use again in future.

A Little Gem in Co Down!
I had the pleasure discovering this little Gem and staying a week with my little dog. Wonderful location, Beautiful, elegant finishes with an air of sophistication throughout. Both Andrea and Peter were the perfect hosts from prompt communication before and after booking to a warm and friendly greeting with homemade scone butter/jam on arrival. A beautiful lunch was offered and was much appreciated while dining Al fresco in the beautiful patio. The little personal touches such as, a jug of fresh milk in fridge and Andrea's homemade coleslaw presented in a kilner jar and logs for the stove! For me my stay was made very special by invites to cold water swimming, horse grooming and indeed horseriding! I would highly recommend Tobergill Cottage for stylish comfortable accommodation, great location, and warm hospitality from the hosts.
