Hotel poco pulito
Ho soggiornato al dawar el omda per 15 giorni : l'hotel è classificato come 4 stelle, ma ne merita al massimo 2.. Decisamente poco pulito il bagno : in 15 giorni non è mai stato lavato piatto doccia ne' sanitari.. Viene detto che la biancheria del letto viene cambiata ogni 3 giorni , in realtà viene cambiato qualche volta il copri piumino , mai il lenzuolo sotto ( che non viene nemmeno tirato ) ne' le federe.. Mi sono rifatta il letto ogni mattina . Il WC puzzava come quello di una stazione ferroviaria ! Da considerare che avevo chiesto camera con vista laguna , quindi più costosa.. Colazione discreta fatta eccezione per le brioches mai fresche.. Personale gentile

Sehr schönes Arabisches Hotel. Sehr gute Lage da zu Fuss nur 3min bisxDownTown. Dafür ist jede Nacht eine Party mit later Musik bis 1 oder 2 Uhr in der Nähe... schaade denn sonst wäre es da sehr gemühtlich zum Schlafen

The hotel is located in Down town in El Gouna, an excellent location. Many good restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. There is a heated clean swimming pool, good WiFi every where. Excellent delicious breakfast, variety of options for every one. Freshly made omelettes, fried eggs and pancakes available. Staff are always ready to help and make your stay enjoyable. A big thanks to Makarious at the front desk. Hope to be back soon.

Its ok just!
204 room Not a direct problem of a hotel but the neighbours in 205 did nothing but talk and shout And use the phone on the balcony from 7 o'clock in the morning . The shower was inconsistent in temperature. It was all a little bit tired with doors hanging off.

Hotel is great but housekeeping isn’t the best. For example, they don’t put water in the room so that you use the one in the fridge and get charged. Very cheap approach.

Lovely little hotel
I really liked the decor of the hotel, it had a very nice cosy Nubian feel and the pool area is super nice. Staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located near downtown walking distance to restaurants/bars etc. My only issue is my room (401) was too small and didn’t have a desk space to work. Breakfast was nice and simple served at Sultan Bey sister hotel.

The place was really cool. I went off season and still under covid circumstances so it was understandably quiet. The staff was exceedingly friendly, helpful, and professional. The only bummer was that soft drinks are not included with dinner. I'd go again :)

Top Address in El Gouna
Cozy stay within the wonderful lagoon of El Gouna. Close to the "Downtown" with it's delightful choice of bars and restaurants. Really nice and helpful staff. Always go for a Lagoon Room.

Small rooms, I requested a quiet room, however they have a room with lots of street noise. The hotel cleark forgot all about my wake up call. When I inquired about airport transportation Osama the morning hotel clerck just gave me 1 option, I found out later that the service he suggested was charging me double the rate.

Everything about the hotel was terrific. The Mattress and Pillows a bit hard and uncomfortable, but other than that it was terrific. Food, Drinks, Atmosphere, View were all a delight.

Second time in a year and not the last.
Well,what can i say about this hotel that i havn`t already said,a lot. Once you`ve been that`s it you`re hooked,part of the DAWAR family,we got such a great welcome back from all the staff including the manager Veronique.As i said on another review,here you just go with the flow and you`ll have best of times.Great food,evening entertainment was great too,led by the voice of Veronique,yes a fully hands on manager.Good pool scene as well towels out every morning by the reliable Ahmed,also thanks to all the staff,what a great bunch,morning, evening,and night doing our bidding,thank you all guys can`t say enough,you`re all stars in our eyes. A special thank you goes out to the manager ,Veronique,and her deputy, who came to visit me at the hospital after i was struck down by a virus on our last day and gave us a lift back to DAWAR,see you all soon i hope,Derek and Karen Halls.

Hotel war schön
Wir hatten einen Kurzaufenthalt und das Hotel Zufriedenstellend. El Gouna würden wir aber dennoch nicht wieder bereisen da wir gerne herumreisen und keine Hotelferien machen möchten. Sharm El Sheikh ist viel schöner und es gibt mehr Möglichkeiten.

Liebe Frau Renate, Vielen Dank fuer Ihre Rueckmeldung auf Expedia. Wir sind zutiefst enttauscht, dass Sie nicht mehr vorhaben wiederzukommen. Trotzdem moechten wir Sie gerne informieren, dass es sich eigentlich genau um das Gegenteil handelt. Sharm el Sheikh hat nicht so viele Aktivitaeten, sowie Moeglichkeiten als El Gouna. Zudem kommt, dass Sharm el Sheikh im Moment nicht sehr besichtigt wird und schon gar nicht von der westeuropaeischen Ecke. In El Gouna bieten wir ein dutzend Aktivitaeten an. Wir haben Tauch- und Kitezentren. Zudem haben wir Festivals die in El Gouna selbst auf den Strassen stattfinden. Wir haben Safaris, Pferde reiten, das rote Meer und sonst noch sehr vieles, was die Gaeste aus dem Hotel rauslockt und Sie sofort in El Gouna verlieben. Wir hoffen, Sie probieren es noch einmal und kommen uns wieder besuchen. Liebe Gruesse, Ihr Hotel Managament

Great hotel, very Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of dishes in the restaurant. In a great location close to restaurants, bars and shops of downtown El Gouna.

Gut, würde ich wieder buchen.
Alles war prima. Frühschläfer sollten darauf achten das sie kein Zimmer nähe der Bar (Dunes) auf der anderen Stassenseite buchen. Laute Musik ist bis 2 Uhr morgens gut hörbar. In der Junior Suite was dies kein Problem. Angebrachte Wünsche unter Bermekungen konnen nicht erfüllt werden, war für uns schlussentlich auch kein Problem. Sonst ein Top Hotel.

First stay but will not be the last
Comfortable rooms with option for non smoking which I was delighted to find as the first room we were offered in the previous hotel we stayed at in El Gouna smelled like an ashtray! The adults only rule was an obvious plus during the school holidays. Staff were all helpful and the coffee with breakfast was lovely and smooth.

misrepresented
Hotel misrepresented what features were 'on-site' which ended up not being a huge issue as most things were just down the street, and this isn't a review of those things. The towels and sheets weren't a very good quality and the twin mattress was fairly uncomfortable.

The room was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty. I even tried to clean it personally but it was too dirty. The garbage we put outside of our room wouldn't get cleaned for days until we asked for them to be removed. The friendly staff ( not all) was the only bright side of our stay.

No Wifi and bad service
A large group of us were in gouna for a friend's wedding. While the hotel was in a great location and reception staff were very friendly, the remaining staff including restaurant and room service staff didn't seem bothered with any of our requests. As for the rooms, the beds are quite hard and uncomfortable, the room floors were still wet when we checked in, the bathroom shower leaked everywhere, they didn't have an ironing board when we asked for one, and several of our rooms had something not working (fridge, phone etc.) Also the hotel claims to have wifi, but there was no connection anywhere except the main lobby. Best thing about this hotel was its close proximity to downtown.

Der este Schein trügt
Ich kenne El Gouna sehr gut, weshalb ich es sehr objektiv bewerten kann. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, es ist niemmer ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Die Zimmer in einem sehr schlechten Zustand, ich hatte das Zimmer 108, der erste Eindruck täuscht, es ist sehr geräumig, auf den 2 Blick ist es sehr mangelt,der Balkonbreich, toter Vogel über einige Tage, Geschirr auf den Nebentischen im Gang 3Tage nicht weggeräumt etc. das Morgenbuffet immer das gleiche, man hätte es schöner presentieren können, etc. Den Laguunenbereich habe ich mal bei meiner Mutter gewischt, da man es nicht für Notwendig befunden hat. Das Personal an der Pezeption war sehr nett, waren sehr bemüht, denn Urlaub so angenehm zu machen, wie es ging. Die Manegerin war auch sehr bemüht. Ich habe auch klar gesagt, ich würde nicht mehr gehen, oder man bekommt ein neu renoviertes Zimmer. Ich war 3 Tage in Kairo zuvor im Mena House, ist ein 5 Sterne Hotel, sensationel! Das ein Stern soviel ausmacht kann ich nicht glauben, ich würde höchstens 3 Sterne geben. Es erstaunt mich, dass es soviele Stammgäste hat.
