“I loved my stay at The 1850. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were some really sweet, personal touches. It's right downtown Boone so it's easy to walk to everything. Daniel and the Dog is a great little bar with delicious food too. The staff was responsive and parking was easy. I look forward to staying there again! ”

“The room was immaculate clean. They don't have carpet which makes it look and feel spotless. The suite was laid out well and had a ton of space for my family of 5. Beds were comfortable, kitchenette was well stocked, shower was great. Everything about the room was perfect. It's probably the best room We've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. ”

“Terrible breakfast. There is no breakfast buffet, their online description is highly deceptive and misleading. There was some lukewarm coffee, a few dry bagels, muffins and toast. No eggs, no links, no bacon… nothing warm. Then the manager had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t even qualify for any breakfast since I didn’t book directly with the hotel. Expedia members don’t count. I also qualified as a VIP guest which they ALSO didn’t honor (no free beverage). Small stuff like that ruins your...

“So this place is really neat. 1st up on mt with beautiful scenery. Very cool staircase. Was so nice to have small kitchen to cook in. Pretty dated but very very neat and clean. 100% recommend ”

“Staff were very helpful prior to my checking in when I had trouble getting to the location and gave me tow truck information. They ensured I got to my destination instead of living out the rest of my days on the side of grandfather mountain. If I could give 10 stars I would.”
