Fab family weekend
We had a great stay for my dad's 80th birthday celebrations. The property was fully equipped with everything you could need and we had a lovely welcome hamper left for us. The beds and pillows were spotless and very comfortable. The property was clean and tidy. Couldn't have asked for any more!

the perfect farmhouse
I highly recommend this lovely farmhouse. Clean, warm, well-equipped and able to host a large group of 14 people very easily. The owner was super sweet and she accommodated all my needs and requests! I also found a very nice basket with yummy local food! she also suggested me a private chef and the catering was amazing! thank you for everything once again

Family 70th Birthday Celebration
We were a group of 14 ranging in age from 7-70 celebrating a joint 70th birthday. The accommodation was extremely clean and provided everything we needed for the weekend. The games room, and the games provided for guest use, were enjoyed by each member of the party. We loved the various reception rooms which gave us space and allowed a retreat from the excitement when necessary. The guest info provided was also really useful - we had a superb cold buffet from Patricia Sharman, one of the suggested caterers, and a great Sunday lunch at The Oaksmere, just a ten minute walk away. All in all a perfect location and we would love to visit again!

70th Birthday Bash
It surpassed my expectations. Very clean and extremely well equipped. It was very close t a very nice pub/restaurant, The kids loved the pool table, table football and two pianos. The house was full of character with so many curiosities and interesting rooms. The house was nice and warm with comfortable sofas and beds. Wonderful....

Excellent Place to Stay in Suffolk
We have stayed at this property several times now - it's an amazing place to stay, always impeccably clean with lots of room and a well-appointed kitchen that actually caters for a full complement of guests. Since our previous visit 2 years ago (pre-covid), the owner has redecorated some of the rooms showing their dedication to keeping it in top condition. We've already booked again for 2022!

4th Stay in An Excellent Property
This is our 4th stay in this property which is a testament to how good it is - as with my previous three reviews, this visit was consistent with the others - the house is kept in excellent condition, clean throughout, a very well equipped kitchen and a games room with table football and a snooker table. The bedrooms are comfortable and well laid out. Jo's communication in the lead up to the booking was excellent and again on departure. All in all an excellent property .

A lovely house in a beautiful part of the world
We had a small gathering at Jo's magnificent property to celebrate my 30th and we had a great time. The house is huge and had everything we could possibly want. Loads of bedrooms (with very comfortable beds), a huge kitchen with all the amenities, a large garden with lots of outdoor seating. Despite being in a remote part of the world, it had a tesco only a 10 min drive away and a lovely restaurant/hotel a 10 min walk away. Jo made things very simple for checking in and out and answered all our questions about the place very quickly. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone contemplating staying here. Thanks Jo!

Great house for a family getaway!
Delighted with this property which we rented for a family get together to celebrate a milestone birthday. Lots of different ages and 4 separate family groups were well accommodated with good sleeping space for everyone. Add to this a quirky layout, with plenty of living space and a well received games room, everyone loved it. Jo was super helpful and answered any queries we had.

Sympathetically renovated family farmhouse, well equipped for large groups in a quite spot
We booked this property for a family Christmas gathering, with members travelling from around the UK and from overseas. We had checked out the facilities earlier in the year and Jo was more than welcome to show us the property and set our minds at ease that we could host our family Christmas at Dove Farm. We had 14 guest staying in the house and hosted 16 over Christmas Day and Boxing Day, ranging from 10 to over 80 years in age. The house was perfectly capabale of hosting this number and we cooked a 24lb Turkey for Christmas dinner and all got round the table. The location is very peaceful but there are good amenities in Diss and Eye, both close by and some pleasant country walks. Everyone had a great time, there are plenty of rooms in the property for the different age groups to go do their own thing and all the bedrooms were well appointed and spacious. A big thank you and we would happily recommend this property for large mixed age group parties.

Third Stay in a Fantastic Property
We have stayed at Dove Farmhouse three times now and would just reiterate what I have said in my previous reviews - the house is very well appointed, immaculately clean with plenty of bathrooms, kitchen and eating space for everyone. The games room with a snooker table and table football keeps adults and children entertained and the welcome basket with lots of local produce was very well received. We would thoroughly recommend Dove Farmhouse.

Amazing stay at Dove Farmhouse
We had a fantastic weekend at Dove Farmhouse for my sister's hen do in October. The house was perfect: well-equipped for cooking and eating, lots of space for us all to sleep, chill out and get ready to go out, and the games room is brilliant! Jo was the perfect host. She was incredibly helpful during our stay, and left us a lovely hamper of goodies. We couldn't fault our stay - simply perfect. We'll be back!

Perfect setting for a summer gathering
The house is well stocked with all you need for a gathering of family and friends of all ages. Each bedroom is comfy, stylish and spotless key clean. Bathrooms equally pristine and easily enough for 14 guests, Welcome basket much appreciated as we’d forgotten to buy bread!! Thanks Jo, we’d love to stay again sometime!

A lovely weekend away

Great relaxing place
Great spacious accommodation, which was a fantastic base for 12 guys to cycle away into the very pretty Suffolk country side. Fantastic Property - Our Second Visit
We have stayed at Dove Farmhouse before, so were pleased to return again for a long weekend at the beginning of December. I don't really have much to add to my previous review (in Dec-16) - the house was again very well presented - we spent a lot of time cooking and eating in the large kitchen, both adults and children enjoyed the use of the snooker table and table football and there was plenty of seating in the living rooms. As with our previous trip, the owner Jo responded very quickly and helpfully to any enquiries we had in advance of the trip and I would thoroughly recommend the property to anyone looking to spend some time in that part of Norfolk.

Great 2nd visit
This was our 2nd visit to Eye and the house & facilities were just as good as last time. We decided to eat at the Oaksmere Hotel on Saturday so the location was also excellent as we were able to walk there easily, even with children in tow!

Family weekend
We have just returned from a super weekend at Dove Farmhouse. We had our whole family including our 3 month old grand daughter to our 80 year old mum and dad. We booked the house for a surprise for mums 80th and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed using the BBQ and as the weather was beautiful all had time to spend in the glorious garden and on arrival there was a hamper waiting for us. The house is well situated to travel around to see more of Suffolk too. We would love to return to the house again.

Perfect house, perfect location, perfect owner!!
I rented this house for my sisters hen weekend, with girls aged from 30 to 59 years old, and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is huge and has the most gorgeous garden which we were fortunate enough to get lots of use out of due to having great weather. The bedrooms were all beautiful and more than big enough for everyone. The games room and pianos were really good fun too and there are bikes to use as well. There is a pub just up the road and a shop nearby too. The house is very easy to get to and there are some amazing places nearby to visit. We did canoeing during the daytime which was so much fun. The owner Jo was a pleasure to deal with. Communication was great and she let me into the house the day before the hen weekend so that I could set up all of the decorations ready for the girls arrival! She even left a gorgeous welcome basket full of delicious treats for us too! I could only dream of owning a stunning house like this and I will be recommending it to everyone! I shall definitely be returning. If I could give this house more than 5* I would! Thank you Jo for what will be a very memorable weekend for our family and especially for my sister xx

Excellent house for a big group weekend
We stayed at Dove Farmhouse for the early May bank holiday weekend -- 5 families together. It's perfect for the group -- with a good kitchen space for sociable family breakfasts and fun grown-up dinners, lots of good-sized rooms (the games room is great), and a lovely garden. It's the second time we've stayed and would definitely choose it again -- a lovely getaway.

Perfect house for a large family/ group holiday
We have just enjoyed an Easter weekend at Dove Farmhouse. We were a large group of friends with young children and the house was spacious enough for us adults to enjoy some peace whilst the children had plenty of room to run about and enjoy the beautiful garden (which was perfect for an Easter egg hunt). The house was very well supplied for us to be able to cater for everyone, and we had a lovely welcome basket of local produce on our arrival. The house is very neat and clean with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Jo was very helpful prior to our arrival answering all of our questions promptly. I would highly recommend staying at Dove Farmhouse and would love to go back.

Perfect for family celebration!!
Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Dovefarm house. We had an age range from 17 to 87, plenty of space for all to enjoy and lovely that 11 of us could comfortably share mealtimes around the large kitchen table! Jo was really helpful, and answered our questions promptly prior to arrival which contributed to overall experience!! We had perfect weather so we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the beautiful garden! Well stocked, welcoming house with plenty of parking we had 5 cars between us and was room for more if needed!! Already recommended to others!!

Perfect getaway property
Dove Farmhouse was just perfect for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids, Jo was so helpful prior to the booking and during our stay. The house is very well looked after with lots of cosy rooms to relax in. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the hamper left of us was a lovely welcome. The nearby pub The Oakesmere was perfect too. We stayed for 3 nights over New Year and would definitely go back again.

Excellent and Well Equipeed House
We stayed as a group of 8 adults and 4 children for a weekend. The house was excellent and very well cared for: a good number of large bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms, nice quality towels and bed linen and the whole house was spotlessly clean throughout. The kitchen was really well equipped with a large dining table, range cooker and more than enough pots, pans and crockery for the number of people the house can accommodate. Unfortunately due to the time of year we were visiting, we didn't get to use the garden or the BBQ, but the games room kept a few of us entertained into the night. All in all a fantastic find and we hope to be back next year.

A perfect place to stay

The house is in a lovely location big and spacious with all the facilities you need.
It was mine and my friends birthday so we shared the house with 12 close friends and celebrated all weekend! We arrived to a lovely hamper which was so thoughtful! The house was so perfect for everything we wanted... We sat in the garden, played in the games room, cooked a huge dinner in the kitchen and ate and drank way to much :) All the rooms was good size and good amount of bathrooms too! Would defiantly recommend this house to anyone I will certainly look at coming back in the future! Just want to thank Jo also she provided us with everything we needed and was very prompt! The house and garden is superb and so spacious it is ideal for family gatherings .
Everything is provided for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and there are many features which show thoughtful provision for large gatherings of mixed age groups . The house is very well equipped , the kitchen has sufficient crockery and cutlery for everyone . The children were delighted with the activities and bicycles for the garden which offered a safe and spacious play space . All the rooms and bathrooms are pleasant and well equipped too , plenty of hot water and sumptuous towels and bedding . The property is so clean and attractive and nicely furnished . We appreciated the hamper on arrival very much . It was a great help to us that Jo was able to be flexible about arrival and departure times as we were travelling from different regions of the country to a family celebration weekend .

Such a wonderful weekend away we had with friends and children. Spacious farmhouse
We enjoyed a lovely weekend celebrating our mums 70th birthday at dove farmhouse. House was large enough to accommodate all 13 of us plus a baby comfortably. Loved the huge farmhouse kitchen table! Owner Jo really accommodating allowing us to extend our check in and out times. Would recommend.

It is a beautiful house in a gorgeous quiet setting - perfect escape
We visited as a group of 5 mums with our primary school age children at the start of the summer holidays for two nights. The house was fantastic, so comfortable and spacious, really clean and great attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, glasses and cooking kit. Jo the owner left us a wonderful welcome basket of local produce which was so kind and lovely gift. The children loved the garden - it was huge, had great places to explore and build dens, and was completely enclosed and very safe. We had a wonderful day trip to the Dinosaur Adventure park which isn't far and there are loads of great attractions just a short drive away. It really was a great stay and a brilliant way to begin our summer holidays- we will definitely return!! Thank you Jo for having us xx

Amazing stay!!!
We have just returned from a 2 night break at this property for a 40th birthday celebration. We had an amazing time and could not fault it at all. Our party consisted of adults and children of varying ages and we had so much fun!! We were lucky enough to enjoy the lovely garden in the sunshine and had so much to do to keep us all entertainined. The house was spotless and the beds are extremely comfortable, would definitely recommend a stay here. Thank you.

Large and spacious property, perfect for big groups
We had a lovely weekend staying at Dove Farmhouse. The property is ideal for big groups with plenty of living space and a large garden. It was really tidy and welcoming. Jo was a great host, always quick to reply to messages and was flexible with check in arrangements. We will definitely be recommending this property to friends!
