Excellent time at Yellow house! Very comfortable place. They provided some grocery items on our arrival and all we had to do was text Anna the property manager when we needed anything. We reported a minor issue that was fixed immediately. No complaints. Highly recommended!

Nice house, great view
The house is nice, landscaping is gorgeous as is the view, pool was fun, the hot water was spotty. The driveway is a challenge. The only negative are the barking dogs in the neighborhood. The house worked well for two couples.

Yellow House, Falmouth Harbour Lookout
Absolutely a wonderful property. Overlooking Falmouth Harbour with perfect views from sunrise to sunset. Property has all the amenities, just like being at home from the kitchen to the veranda. The pool was very refreshing, surrounded by lovely tropical foliage. Great location with small grocery and restaurants nearby. Definitely need a vehicle to take advantage of the nearby beaches and restaurants surrounding Falmouth and English Harbours. Property manager was excellent, meeting us at Yellow House with great advice concerning car rental and island excursions. If you want to get away from all of the hustle and bustle of St. John this is the spot. True island experience while enjoying the kind, humorous and friendly demeanor from the locals.

The views!
We loved this place! Well equipped kitchen, bedding, towels, etc. BBQ and a beautiful deck with incredible views! Having our own privacy with a swimming pool was an added bonus. We were travelling with a 7 month old and they arranged for a high chair and a crib/cot, it was really appreciated. Property well maintained inside and out. Also, their welcome package of eggs, bacon, bread, coffee, butter, , jam, etc was so appreciated as we didn’t get to the Yellow House till later in the day and now we were set for breakfast! A steep road to the house, you should have an SUV. Beautiful local beach (visible from the deck), nice grocery store in English Harbour. You will love this place!

Lovely property overlooking Falmouth and English zhsrbour
Property was exactly as photos depicted. Lovely balcony and pool area and check in well organised and informative. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend. The only thing we’d say was no aircon in the kitchen area which got very hot when cooking!

What a view!!
Everything was perfect. Zero complaints. Excellent communication with property managers. Everything as advertised. Great pool, really nice grill with all the tools , which I used every day, fully equipped kitchen, a nice welcome package of breakfast items and ice. Towels and so many different seating areas and levels which allowed for privacy. And WHAT A VIEW! This will be our new go to on vacations

Absolutely Perfect!
Our stay at Yellow House was absolutely perfect! The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed. Nestled in the hills overlooking Falmouth Harbour, just minutes away from both English and Falmouth Harbours, it was an ideal location for us. It is both secluded and convenient. We were greeted by Tihana who showed us around the house and was very friendly and accommodating throughout our entire stay. The views from the deck and pool deck are nothing short of amazing. A true paradise getaway. We would love to return to Yellow House!

Picturesque views...
Beautiful property with view of the harbor and surrounding mountains. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved all the creatures that visited and felt the home was perfectely located to reach all sides of the island and beaches. A car can make the steep drive w/o issue and was preferred with the narrow roads. You will need transport of some kind, as walking to restaurants (which are delicious) and other attractions would be a long hike. Our only complaint would be the neighboring dogs that were talkative at all hours. Overall, we loved the home and all the added touches. From the welcome basket, kindness of staff and owner, to the feeder where we watched the hummingbirds all day through.

Fabulous View
We loved the Yellow House and especially enjoyed the view. The house is quite clean and very comfortable and overall has a pleasant ambience. The plantings and garden were quite lovely. Anna & Peter, the property managers were great. Our only complaint about the neighborhood is that there were neighboring dogs both below and above the property who barked vociferously intruding upon the calm. We would love to return next year, but our only hesitation would be the noisy dogs.

Perfect view and location
We were there to see my husband finish the row across the Atlantic - the race finishes into English Harbor, which is a short 10 minute drive and was nice to be close but also have our privacy at the house! The view was amazing and everything was very clean and very relaxing. We loved the pool and the little bedroom off it. Only toughie is the driveway is crazy steep, so rent a 4-wheel car if possible!

Amazing property
This is the most fantastic property and the photos really do not do it justice! So much space and the huge balcony wrapping around outside was perfect. Very comfy rooms. The property is incredibly well equipped especially in the kitchen plus a great welcome selection of products in the fridge to get us started. So clean and tidy. Hosts including Anna very helpful and easy to contact. Do need a car but taxis also really easy to get to the house. To note there is building work occurring next door and I would enquire to the progress of this.

Excellent Spot!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Yellow House- the wraparound porch and pool were lovely, and it was really nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. The views were excellent, too! Since our stay was at the end of the rainy season, the only issue we had were the mosquitos, but with bug spray it was manageable. Overall a great spot, would recommend!

Stunning view!!!
We were two couples staying in this lovely home that has a well equipped kitchen for great ease with cooking. The views are surreal… the photos do not do justice. Close to grocery stores and a short drive to English Harbour. We had a car which made getting around quite easy with our destinations within 30 or so minutes from the home. There are mosquitoes as the beautifully landscaped grounds are lush and jungle-like and the brief rains that blow through quickly leave moisture so pack repellent. Would definitely visit and book here again.

Delightful views and homely feel
My partner and I, plus two friends, stayed for a week at the Yellow House. The first thing I would say won our hearts at this property was the incredible views of the seas, harbour and hillsides. Beautiful flowers coated the veranda. Due to the property having these incredible views, it was situated up a hillside and access to it was via a fairly steep drive. We had a car for two weeks and that was a blessing, going on foot maybe somewhat difficult for various fitness levels! The Yellow House has a little pool which is perfect for dipping into once that heat got a bit much. It’s kept clean by people who visit the property, this appear to be regular during a one week stay with Peter popping by to help us remove rubbish/recycling and other folks who tended the gardens and systems. Overall the Yellow House had a homely feel about it, and was very well stocked with kitchen utensils, BBQ, crockery and containers etc. In fact we didn’t have to buy anything major from the supermarket to make the stay a comfortable one. We were grateful for that! There was a hammock on the veranda which we enjoyed lazing in while taking in the views. There were lots of other home comfort such as clean towels, linen, dishcloths. A dishwasher - very helpful! Air-conditioning in both bedrooms and a nice spacious feel about it for four people, we never felt on top of one another. We often cooked at the property, the BBQ was great and ate outdoors enjoying the sunset and playing card games on an evening with a cool breeze. Anna was Peter’s partner, she was the point of contact during our stay and was polite, accommodating and friendly. We sometimes got brief and somewhat stunted messages from the owner during our first communications when asking questions, which was a tad disarming compared to the rest of experience at the Yellow House. As a point of feedback I would state the importance of friendly first communications as it could impact decision making for some. Also I needed to prompt communications on how we would check in just days before our stay. Perhaps the difference of life between a city guy and Caribbean residence, everything felt much more laid back when we were there. There were building works going on next door, but we were up and out early to enjoy Antigua and back late afternoon most days so it didn’t bother us, but worth noting. Aside from those instances, check in and out was seamless, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend it - 5 stars!

This is a sweet home with wonderful covered porch and views of Falmouth Harbor. I would definietly rent here again, and Anna and the crew were very friendly and attentive. The only negative was the new construction beginning next door above us. But even with the noise and construction trucks, I would rent it again.

This is a wonderful property and we would definitely stay again if in Antigua. The views are stunning. It is a very steep hill to the house and a car is a must have. The photos show an a/c unit in the kitchen, there isn’t one. The beds and chairs are very comfortable.

A stunning oasis
Truly stunning! Our family truly adored our stay at the yellow house. We enjoyed the beautiful panoramic view encompassing the ocean, ships, the harbour and the verdant hills. There is a lush tropical garden all round the property which is well maintained with both fruit and flowering plants. We particularly enjoyed al fresco dining as a family on the verandah whilst taking in the breathtaking views. The relaxing hammock on the verandah was also a hit! The house is well situated near English harbour and Nelsons dockyard national park. There are many local restaurants within 5-15 minutes drive. A car would definitely be recommended. We utilised the convenient local supermarket CE Baileys on several occasions to stock up. All my detailed questions pre arrival were quickly and helpfully dealt with. We enjoyed meeting Rambo the caretaker who was very helpful with our queries and had some useful tips for us. We felt well looked after during our stay by Anna and her team. The kitchen is the most well equipped one we have had on any of our many holiday villa rentals. The living room was very light and airy whilst also benefiting from great views. The air-conditioning worked very well and our teenagers were able to stream on wifi when needed. The villa has a bookshelf stocked with a selection of fiction and non-fiction books as well as board games playing cards. There is also an excellent folder with useful information both about the villa itself and the local amenities. It was lovely to have a dip in the pool first thing in the morning and it was particularly relaxing after a day out. We felt very secure in the villa despite the ongoing COVID pandemic. The villa has optional shutters on windows and doors for added security. There is a back up generator also available (we didn’t need it for our 10 nights). We would recommend this villa as a place to stay when visiting Antigua without hesitation.

Lovely comfortable house and beautiful view
We have rented houses in the Falmouth area for the past five winters and really enjoyed the yellow house for many reasons. Among them: having a beautiful porch with views every morning and evening of the boats on Falmouth harbor and mountains around, lush vegetation around the house providing a great sense of privacy, comfortable master bedroom suite with modern bathrooms, screens on all the windows (but not the doors , which was not a problem as the house stays remarkably cool during the day) a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, well maintained Weber grill, clothes washing machine and electric shutters for all windows and doors so locking up when away was easy. Access to the house was great too-a minute or two up the hill from the main road (recommend having a car). The local caregivers Anna, Peter and Rambo were Delightful local resources and very helpful and responsive to a few of the maintenance requests we had. We have a few favorite restaurants: Sandra’s Island Fusion, Ti Lola (new this year), Cloggys (fun to see all the super yachts and racing boats in harbor before) Zelma road side stand. Also loved having Colesomes Farm and farm stand on Jonas road. Other “new” finds: Wallings Resevoir is now a national park. Cheers to the Antiguans for working to preserve more of their beautiful island. Also Christian Valley Bird trail for different walks to enjoys the natural world of trees and birds and plants. Beaches of course are a main attraction of Antigua. Our favorites: Half moon and its beach restaurant (delicious food worth the wait on busy days) Valley Church, and nearby Pigeon for ample shade and Galleon for a quick swim at days end. We can definitely recommend Antigua/Falmouth/English Harbor and the Yellow house in particular if you like being an independent self catering traveler.

Wonderful week in paradise!
Great quiet location on Monk's Hill overlooking Falmouth Harbour. Private pool and air conditioning was a bonus. Home has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend a vehicle as the road up to the property is steep.

Beautiful, peaceful home away from home!
The Yellow House is a place in which I could live in for a long time and be very happy! This isn’t a cookie-cutter condo or barebones villa. This is a home with many wonderful qualities that made our weeklong stay very relaxing. The wraparound porch with plentiful sitting areas, dining table, and hammock is a wonderful extension of the home’s living area. The view is fantastic and the breezes were gentle. The nearby mountains block the property from the prevailing Northeasterly winds so the area receives gentle breezes, not stronger trade winds – big difference! There are many birds that love the gardens and bougainvillea of Yellow House - they are not afraid of people and are very entertaining to watch. The pool is a private garden oasis! Shady in the early and late parts of the day – sunny midday. Floating in the pool while listening to the rustling of the palm trees and watching the hummingbirds in the hibiscus was just magical! The English Harbour/Falmouth Harbour area offers a lot of sightseeing and dining options. We are sailors so we enjoyed this area the most. The Antigua Yacht Club and Nelson’s Dockyard were amazing. We stayed in mid-May so as the week progressed the larger yachts had begun to depart and restaurants started to shutter for the season, but we still had plenty of dining options with no wait times! Cloggy’s was our favorite for dinner. Boom Restaurant was our favorite for lunch. Bring your bathing suit and spend the rest of the afternoon floating in their infinity pool overlooking the Pillars in Nelson’s Dockyard watching all the boat traffic in English Harbour or napping in the shady sunbeds. We also recommend driving the coast up to Jolly Harbour – the color of the ocean turns to deep turquoise over the shallow sandy sea bottom. Spend an afternoon on the Cool Cat Catamaran for a nice sail, snorkeling and coastal tour. Stingray City is also a great trip and a nice drive up the Eastern side of the island. A week after our return home to the US and I’m still relaxed and on Island Time! Thank you Bengt for sharing your home and giving us wonderful memories.

Spent 9 days at the Yellow house. The manager Anna Todd was very helpful. Nice house, easy to use, great views. There was a problem with the septic tank. There was frequently an odor of sewerage. They have been attempting to address this problem. Nice location close to Falmouth Harbour, and English Harbor. A car is a must. Would recommend to others and would stay again. Scott Wrede, D.O.

Absolutely first class!
The villa was everything we hoped it would be, very clean with all the amenities you need. The wraparound terrace was a beautiful place to sit and relax and take in the view. The pool was lovely, my only wish was that there was some cushions for the sun beds as they were uncomfortable to lay on. However my partner mentioned this to Rambo and he managed to source some for us. Anna and the team were very efficient and helped us us with any problems. Had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend the villa.

Great location and hospitality of hosts
We had a great experience and would love to return. Yellow House was great, and the hosts were even better! Anna and Rambo met us at the house to welcome us. Both were just a phone call away if we had questions. We were amazed when Titi picked us up at the airport and drive us to the house where our rental car was waiting. The home’s location was perfect for us. We enjoyed 7 days of privacy and total relaxation. Beautiful beaches with good for snorkeling were close by. We found it entertaining to watch the sailboats and superyachts in the harbor. Sunsets are not visible from the house, but can be enjoyed at Shirley Heights which is just a short drive from the house.

A fantastic base to explore this beautiful island
This villa had everything we needed for a great holiday. The view from the veranda is amazing, with visits from some beautiful birds and small lizards. The location is within a few minutes drive of Falmouth and English harbours. A car is essential in our opinion as it is a steep climb to the villa from the main road. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view
This is a wonderful place to stay. The home is well designed, well equipped and wonderfully maintained. With the doors open it seems like outdoor living. The home is even nicer than depicted by the pictures. For those who like to cook the kitchen has a pretty full set of tools. The living space is very inviting. The gardens that surround the house are filled with color and also provide a sense of privacy. The home is very close to Falmouth and English Harbor. There was never a problem with driving to the beaches and there was always adequate parking. Anna, the property manager met us at the home and gave us a good orientation so we knew how things worked. She was also an excellent and timely communicator in making the reservation. We used Titi to rent our car and they were very reliable and timely. Some parts of the road system are a bit rough so a car with good clearance would be an advantage.

Beautiful Views & Well Appointed
Two things strike you most about The Yellow House - the fabulous views as you sit sipping your coffee or cocktail on the pretty verandah, and the well appointed villa with all the facilities and equipment you will ever need on holiday. The beds are comfortable and the villa is bright, well decorated and clean, with comfortable beds and furnishings. The pool is great for dipping in the hot weather and the villa garden is very pretty and well maintained. Falmouth Harbour is a great location to stay with yachts coming and going creating a buzz, plus the UNESCO heritage English Harbour next door is fascinating historically and architecturally. Good choice of restaurants locally - although some shut during the low season (May - Nov).

Beautiful Villa with stunning views
Situated near English Harbour, this villa was the perfect place to enjoy Antigua. Well equipped and clearly well looked after it has everything you need and more. Anna and Peter gave us a warm welcome on arrival and were on hand if ever we needed anything. We visited a lot of beaches around the Island, but I have to say that Pigeon beach, closest to the villa, was my favourite.

Amazing house!
We had a wonderful time at this amazing house in an ideal location on Antigua. The wide, wrap-around deck with amazing views of Falmouth harbor is simply fantastic and a real treat to wake up to. The small pool was a real bonus as well for an afternoon dip, especially for our two young children. The house itself was very comfortable and well-equipped. The local agent and her staff were very helpful and responsive, as was Titi's car rental, from whom we rented a car. We unequivocally recommend this spot.

Wonderfull Stay In Antigua
We had a wonderful stay and this was our first time to Antigua. The property is exactly as described. The pool was wonderful and attended to weekly by maintenance staff. The Gardener attends to the property weekly and provided great conversation and advice about the island The covered deck and awnings made it perfect to sit outside and with the trade winds you seldom need to turn the A/C on.Having the Barbecue was wonderful a well. We were greeted by Anna on arrival and she familiarized us with the house. Peter and Anna are the local property managers and were wonderful to deal with. We rented a car from Titi Car Rental and I highly recommend them . They escorted us to the house from the airport and provided a shuttle back from their office on our departure day. You do need a car when staying here to properly explore the island and get back and forth from the beaches and grocery stores etc. There are many beaches to explore but our favorites were Carlisle Bay, Dark wood Beach and Long Bay. Overall,a wonderful relaxing stay , waking up each morning to the panorama of Falmouth Harbour. For a safe relaxing stay we recommend this property, but be sure to rent a car to take in the whole island. Dave & Diana Canada
