Weekend in collina
La villa si trova in una posizione strategica a pochi minuti da Firenze centro e dalle colline del Chianti. Fantastica la vista dal giardino e quiete assoluta. All'interno è ristrutturata benissimo e corrisponde in tutto alla descrizione fornita. Ottima la comunicazione con il proprietario e con la persona che si occupa del check in. Una bellissima esperienza.

A Beautiful Stay
Tranquil, picturesque, spacious and homey. A true Tuscan experience….from the drive to the views to the serenity. Had everything we needed and the owners were only a call, text or email away. A real gem. Very close proximity to Florence. Easy day trip to Pisa. Coop Fi for groceries was decently close to stock up for a few days. We would recommend this clean, well appointed and comfortable villa to anyone visiting the region, without a doubt.

Beautiful location in the hills outside Florence
Wonderful hillside location just outside Florence. Well-equipped kitchen, three spacious bedrooms plus a loft, and great outdoor space. Non-Italians driving themselves be aware, the road to the house is not for the faint of heart.

Best VRBO stay in Europe ever
Staying at this property in the hills outside Florence was an absolute delight. It was perfect in all respects. Spacious home with plenty of space and privacy for our 2 older couples. Beautifully landscaped and backyard patio and rolling hills and fields in distance. While owner livers away, his sister is next door. David (owner) sent has multiple clear video's of how to use various appliances and gave us precise directions on how to reach property well in advance. Property is basically a spacious and modern 3 br 2 bath home in the rolling hills outside Florence. HIs sister Delphina was a godsend and lives next door. She helped us with everything and was always available for tips and directions., She took the time to send us detailed maps and instructions and was always available via text or phone. Like having your daughter living next door!. Perfect location for a base to visit the countryside, city, and all of Tuscany. We wished we could have stayed for more but the property was booked after us. We will most definitely be back and give this property our full and complete endorsement. Thank you David and Dephina for a most pleasant and stress free vacation.

Beautiful Cottage
We truly enjoyed our vacation in this quient, beautiful Cottage in the hills. The grounds and view from the terrace was remarkable! The house was clean, modern and decorated lovely. The beds were comfortable and there's lots of room to spread out in the alcove and living areas. This kitchen was spacious and well equipped/stocked. We also loved being only 20 minutes outside the City in this private and quiet neighborhood. David, Elias and especially Delfina were wonderful accommodating hosts. We are so grateful for the constant communication, referrals to sites and restaurants, assistance with the house and directions. We highly recommend this gorgeous home and look forward to coming back next time we are in Florence.

The ideal location for peace , relax , feel like you are living as a local. Location was perfect for one day are two day Train trips to Venice, Pizza , Rome. And more. Host was extremely helpful 24-7 to whatever our needs were.

Beautiful Tuscany Home
Delfina met us upon checkin and was warm and lovely! She answered all of our questions and was available always for anything we needed, including forgetting the key to get back in! The home was beautiful and is set on a working olive farm. The views are amazing and made us feel like we were living the Tuscan way. The home was just as depicted in the pictures and was very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 teens. All of the amenities were available that were needed, including a washing machine which we used mid-journey!! We would definitely stay in this home again if we ever return to the area!!!

The Ultimate Tuscan Experience
This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. If you truly want to live the Tuscan experience, I highly recommend this place. The hosts are wonderful and always available to help. The house and yard are amazing. The location will give you a true feeling of what it is like to live in Tuscany, which was a major goal of our trip. Perfect for a family (ample rooms and places to sleep). While I greatly enjoyed this place with my family, in retrospect, I found myself wishing it were just my wife and I as it's a magical place for a romantic getaway!

Wonderful Villa just outside the hustle and bustle of Florence
My friends and I had such a wonderful experience at this lovely villa. David and Delfina are wonderful hosts. Delfina sent us pin locations of a grocery store to stop at on our way from the airport, as well as restaurant recommendations for night one. Once we arrived, Delfina greeted us and let us into the house and went so far as to order delivery for us to the house since we were too tired to go back out. Delfina later booked a private truffle hunting and wine tasting tour for us at a small organic farm which was an amazing experience. I cannot say enough about how helpful and wonderful working with David and Delfina was and how much it added to our experience. The house itself is adorable. We had a group of 7 and it was a bit tight but we had zero issues and truly enjoyed our time together. The house we impeccably clean, the rooms well appointed. The bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels and even laundry detergent and a washer. Did I mention the heated floors and towel warmer? The backyard was a comfortably retreat to sip coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Ultimately we throughly enjoyed our visit and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking to spend time outside the city and enjoy the gorgeous Tuscan countryside.

Tuscany with friends
This place was fantastic! A little outside of Florence but close enough for an inexpensive taxi trip. Beautiful country side for a walk . Olive trees everywhere you looked. Delfina was so helpful and anything we needed she was there to help. We were 6 adults and all had lots of room. Would totally recommend this place.

Brilliant stay
This property was very comfortable and roomy enough for the 3 couples that stayed there. As we all like to cook, it was great to have such a well-equipped kitchen. The backyard was great and the views were awesome. The weather did not cooperate so we could not take full advantage of the yard. The location was fantastic, close to grocery stores and restaurants and only minutes from central Firenze and all that it had to offer, yet far enough to enjoy the quiet of the country setting. The property manager was on site and extremely helpful on a couple of occasions in providing helpful information. We would certainly recommend this property.

Ideally located for Florence and the Chianti region
The property was ideal for the 4 of us. It was in very good condition and was lacking nothing. There is a lovely small garden for your use with an outside fixed BBQ. The hosts sister lives next door and was very helpful in recommending places to eat, to visit or best method for getting into Florence. Be aware that the roads in the area are narrow.

Hidden Gem Under the Tuscan Sun
An unbelievable trip to Florence. This property is so close to the heart of city center, but tucked away to enjoy the serenity of the Italian countryside and the gateway to Chianti. Very easy to navigate roads from the airport throughout the countryside. This was our first visit to Italy and we were beyond impressed with this villa. The owners are amazing. Our flight was delayed and we arrived later than we thought and they made sure we had dinner. They ordered us pizza and had it delivered to the house. Delphina was happy to assist with any of our special requests or recommendations. The gardens out back our spectacular. The villas is clean, spacious, modernized and perfectly located. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Lovely modern villa with gorgeous views!
This spacious, modern villa was exactly what we wished for and we loved the garden with its beautiful flowers and landscaping. It was a beautiful setting to enjoy the great weather and fantastic views of the Tuscan hills. The kitchen was large and well equipped with cookware and full-size appliances, so it was easy to prepare meals for a large family. It was the optimal place for visiting Firenze, and taking day trips to Chianti and Siena. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as well!

Amazing stay at Luxury villa
We did love our stay at Luxury Villa in the Florentine hills. Host Delfina was easy reachable and very helpful with any information we needed like places to visit, restaurants to go and etc. Place was clean, tastefully decorated and plenty room for our group. Excellent and peaceful
This was the perfect place to stay near Firenze. We were 3 couples who have travelled to Italy before and this lovely, quiet villa was exactly what we wished for and expected. It's the optimal place for visiting Firenze, and/or taking day trips to Chianti. David was very helpful with planning and his sister Delfina was so helpful while we were there. Very easily accessible to Firenze by taxi or bus. Grazie Mille to both!

Our stay at this property, located high up in the hills surrounding Florence, was a dream come true. Every aspect of the rental was superior, not least of which was the incredible care of the manager Delphine. The drive up the hill is quite twisty but is well worth the effort. Highly recommended!

Lovely home from home
What’s not to like! Lovely spacious villa in the hills south of Florence in a very attractive location, with everything you need. The host, David, responded promptly and was most courteous and kind. The host’s sister lives next door and is a great support in sorting any problems and helping you find what you want, with advice on shopping, where to park for visits to Florence and local walks amongst other things. The patio and garden at the back was a great spot for eating breakfast and lounging in the sunshine. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Highly recommend.

GREAT RENOVATED PLACE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO FLORENCE
We were two couples staying in this great villa with covered parking. The place has been renovated completely with so many modern amenities. Upon arriving the villa was spotless! The kitchen is bright and well equipped even though we didn't do any cooking but had adequate space to prepare our appetizers and wine for playing cards in the evenings. The bedrooms were roomy with comfortable mattresses and plenty of hanging space for clothes. The unit provides a washer which was used by both couples and a hanging device for drying. Hot water was plentiful and the downstairs bath is very large with double sinks and a great shower and tub. Upstairs is a full bath with a tub and couch sitting area. We loved the outdoor area with a fenced yard for privacy and nice patio furniture to enjoy the great weather and beautiful views. Being from the states, it does take a bit of getting use to the narrow country roads but once that is conquered, you find the location is perfect for visiting Florence. There is a parking area that we drove to and then took a taxi or walked into the city. We found the location perfect. The host was very helpful and attentive.

Exquisite villa, stunning view, not far from Florence
We stayed here in the middle of a long tour of Italy, and it was the perfect place to relax. The patio is perfect, with a stunning view of rolling hills. The host was very communicative and accommodating and offered a number of great suggestions for how to get into Florence and what to eat. The kitchen is very well outfitted, the bathrooms and bedrooms are comfortable. This place was the highlight of our trip!

Perfect accommodation in Tuscany
David’s villa is the perfect place to stay when exploring Florence and Tuscany. Florence is about 15 minutes away. Pisa and Sienna were about an hour drive. Chianti region is about fifteen minutes to the south. After spending the day walking and driving, the villa was a welcome retreat. There was plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. The kitchen is spacious, and well equipped. The patio and backyard are nice with an awesome view. That was where we usually have our breakfast. Checkin and checkout were a breeze. Thank you David and Delfina!

Perfect change of pace from our urban stays on our Italy trip
The views from this property were picture-perfect and just what you would expect from the Tuscan hills. The host family was very helpful in arranging transportation for us to the city. Delfina (hostess) is a chef and prepared an excellent meal for us on one of the days that we had a full itinerary as well. Any issues/questions that came up were quickly handled (i.e. quirky European appliances!). Although the city of Florence is not walkable, the village of Grassina definitely is (2km through picturesque olive groves) and includes most amenities you would expect or need. Would stay again. Just a heads up - Every Florence taxi driver we used got "lost" on the way to the property, even though Google maps is very accurate on how to get there from various directions. We suspect this is to run up the tab. For this reason alone, having the host able to give us a ride to the city gate (Porta Romana) was invaluable.

A room with a view
Das Haus liegt sehr sehr schön mitten in den Hügeln des Chianti-Gebiets, super ruhig, mit einer Sicht auf Zypressen, Hügeln und Pinien, vermutlich einer der schönsten Blicke der Toscana. Gut ausgestattet, gute Kücheneinrichtung, alles Recht großzügig und modern. Der Garten ist sehr hübsch, ich stimme einer anderen Rezension zu: die Plastikgartenmöbel sind schade bei diesem Objekt. Es hätte sauberer sein können (Dusche und Fenster). In Florenz ist man in 15 min. Mit dem Auto, ohne Auto ist alles eher schwierig. Die Schwester des Eigentümers ist sehr hilfsbereit, David auch. Rundherum alles super.

Business Trip in Florence Area
This is not the first trip that i and my business colleagues have traveled to Italy and used a VRBO as our choice of lodging in fact it is our preference! This beautiful home was exceptional. It was beautifully appointed. So comfortable. Overlooking the city! It was everything we needed and expected it to be. The terrace was exceptional! David was a consummate host. We will be back. I actually read reviews on the property that the roads were too steep to drive a SUV. We didn’t find it like that. Yes. We were on top of a beautiful mountain and the roads are more narrow than the highway but we simply took it slower so not to run into other traffic and it was fine. We loved it. David. Thank you for arranging for a lovely stay.

We are glad that you loved our home. Most roads in Italy are narrow if you are used to american freeways. Hiring an enormous 4X4 was probably not ideal. A normal size car would have been fine:). Hope to have you back soon.

Top Lage nahe Florenz
Das Haus liegt wunderbar ruhig in traumhafter Lage und Florenz ist in 10 min. mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben uns zwar wohlgefühlt und Delfina war immer hilfsbereit, dennoch gibt es einige Kritikpunkte. Als wir anreisten waren wir erschrocken über den Außenbereich. Wir standen auf einer Baustelle mit Dixitoilette, Sperrmüll und Müllsäcken vor der Tür. Das wirkt leider nicht sehr einladend. Die Sauberkeit im Haus könnte auch verbessert werden. (z.B. Fernbedienung, Spiegel, Küchengeschirr). Der Garten ist schön angelegt, aber Kunststoffstühle und Tisch wirken nicht sehr "Luxury".

The property was exactly as I envisioned a Tuscan villa to be. Spacious and warm. Comfortable with wonderful scenic views. The on-site manager took us to the market upon arrival. Roads are narrow and dangerous use caution because locals will not.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in perfekter Lage
Mein Kollege und ich verbrachten eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt ruhig mit schönen Ausblicken auf die hügelige Umgebung der Toskana. Florenz ist eine Viertelstunde mit dem Auto entfernt, doch von den vielen Touristen dort und der Betriebsamkeit ist in dem Ferienhaus nichts mehr zu spüren. Im Gegenteil: die unmittelbare Umgebung ist wohltuend "untouristisch", ganz anders als südlichere Gegenden im Chianti-Gebiet. Dies sorgte dafür, dass wir vom Ferienhaus ausgehend Wanderungen unternehmen konnten, ohne von Menschenmengen begleitet zu werden; die wenigen Einheimischen, die uns begegneten, waren äußerst freundlich zu uns, und die Wege selbst eröffneten uns immer wieder schöne Ausblicke, sei es auf Florenz, sei es auf die sanfte Hügellandschaft der Toskana mit ihren Olivenhainen, Weingärten und Wäldern. Ein paar Anmerkungen zum Ferienhaus selbst: Hier war alles perfekt - von der freundlichen Schlüsselübergabe mit Erklärung der Wohnungs-Details über die geräumigen, sauberen Zimmer, die bestens ausgestattete Küche und natürlich die wunderschöne Terrasse mit angrenzendem privaten Garten. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Entspannen und Genießen! Zum Schluss eine Bitte: Die Adresse, die hier auf Fewo-direkt für das Ferienhaus genannt wird, stimmt nicht. Nur weil ich dies zuvor in einer anderen Rezension gelesen hatte, kam ich auf die Idee, den Vermieter nach der richtigen Adresse zu fragen, die ich prompt erhielt. Hier sollte dringend die korrekte Anschrift eingetragen werden, um unnötigen Ärger bei der Anreise zu vermeiden.

Traumhaft schön
Das Haus ist nur 15 Minuten von Florenz entfernt und doch liegt es auf einem Hügel mitten in der Natur. Es ist wunderbar ruhig, ausser man ärgert sich über die Tierlaute. Ich persönlich geniesse es wenn man die Grillen hört. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Sogar Pay-TV ist vorhanden. Ich kann dieses Objekt bestens weiterempfehlen. Bitte nutzt zwingend Google um den Standort zu finden, da hilft das Navi nicht weiter. Wie es so üblich ist in Italien, sind die Strassen ein bisschen eng. Sollte aber auch für grössere Autos kein Problem sein. Es gibt immer mal wieder breitere Abschnitte, die man nutzen kann um an einem anderen Auto vorbeizukommen. Der Gastgeber ist ein total netter Kerl und auch die Schwester, die praktisch nebenan wohnt ist sehr hilfsbereit, aber auch unbemerkbar. Man hat also seine Ruhe. Werde dieses Objekt gerne mal wieder buchen.

Excellent refurbished Villa in fantastic Tuscany surrounding
We were in this villa with two adults and four kids. It is equipped with very high standard. Especially if you want to cook, you will find everything in best quality in the kitchen. The overall space was more than sufficient. Everything was very clean. We really loved the in- and outside opportunities. David was a very polite and friendly host. Communication was fast and always good. Would love to come back and can recommend the location to everybody. In ideal distance to Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and others. Nice restaurants nearby. Own car recommended to discover the Tuscany. Thanks again, David!

Perfect villa in a perfect area
Villa was better than our expectations, very clean, well equipped kitchen, very cosy garden with a great view ! The area is like an advertisment picture for Tuscany landscape and just 15 minutes drive from Firenze tramway. In one word : Great !

Beautifully Tuscany Villa
The villa is a really good place to stay. Not far away from Florence but still in a very quiet place. The garden as well as the well equipped kitchen are just amazing. The communication with David was really good. He took care of every question very quickly. I would always come back to this nice place, thanks for the good time.

Fijn vrijstaand, ruim huis met mooie tuin en uitzicht en goede uitvalsbasis voor Toscane.
Het is een prachtig, goed onderhouden, ruim huis met alle voorzieningen en een beschutte tuin en het was een heerlijke plek om Toscane te ontdekken. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en uitgebreide uitleg. Er was later een probleempje met een airco en dat werd na melding via whatsapp onmiddellijk opgepakt en verholpen.

Great stay
We had a great time at David`s property, the property is luxurious and spacious., making it a perfect base to explore tuscany for our group of six. The communication with David has been smooth and he went out of his way to ensure our stay is as enjoyable as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who wants to look for a luxury retreat in the heart of beautiful tuscany.

Beautiful view
Our stay was very pleasant. Everything we needed was at the house. The view is beautiful. We cooked ourselves and that was easy. Nice stove and ovens and a good barbecue outside. I recommend to rent this house.
