Filthy with roaches, they don't clean your rooms, they don't have enough staff to assist you when you need a towel. They told me sorry we don't clean room unless you tell us before 9 am and they said I have to come down three flights of stairs and back up to get me towels for my room

The hotel rooms need some upgrading in the walls, paint and bathroom. I also think the location doesn’t help as it is on the main strip. The breakfast was non existent. It was for one night and we figured it out, but I would not recommend if looking for anything outside of a bed to sleep.

Drive down a dark, dimly lit road behind a Wendy's off the main street into a smelly, murky, and dark hotel with questionable characters 'hanging around' the grounds and you've arrived at LaQuinta Deerfield Beach. However, I decided to check in anyway and it was typical. However, after 10 minutes in my room, I had to leave. Between the smell, the grounds, the questionable characters, feeling unsafe etc. I knew I wouldnt be able to sleep. As I was leaving I passed what looked like a hooker in the next room. Hmmm. When I requested a refund, the 'foreign' manager/owner assured me he would honor Expedia's request for it but of course, he didn't, hence, this review. I had a feeling I shouldn't book at LaQuinta, they really sunk low over the years in certain areas at least. Expedia on the other hand at least 'tried' to help but proved unsuccessful when the going got hard, so I'd be foolish to utilize their services again.

When I arrived to this property, I noticed there were a lot of shady people standing around outside the building and inside the lobby. I checked in fine but when I went to our room, everything was disgusting. The walls all had stains or liquid/grime on them. All of the sheets had stains and one of them had dried period blood. The toilet had hairs on it. The nightstand had what looked like some type of dried drugs on it. We immediately went back to the lobby with photos to ask for a refund. They agreed and said to contact Expedia about the refund the next day. When I contacted Expedia, the hotel refused the refund. So not only did we have to pay for another hotel room that night, we got scammed for our money too.

I checked in to the room and after a couple hours, there was a roach on the floor that went behind the dresser I called a friend. I’m gonna stay at their house the manager Dave is checking the room. I asked for a refund.

Staff was not helpful. Took a long time to check in. Everything was dirty and the non smoking rooms smelled of smoke. Would not go here again. The only positive was the price.

The staff was understanding and friendly but the rooms were disgusting. Smelled of mold, mildew on the walls, carpet was filthy. They switched me to a second room and there were roaches in that room. I ended up leaving to go to another hotel.

We had 2 rooms with Broken tvs and phones and 1 had all the art off the walls. The staff gave us a suite and it was lovely!

No chairs for the umbrella tables at the pool. Walkways are in serious need of a deep cleaning. Room key cards have to be reset after a few days if staying 5 consecutive days.
