Nestled between multi million dollar estates, this single story home stands out for its age. Multiple issues arose durning our 12 night stay at this property, most issues were resolved within 48 hours.
The main issue was the appliances. The washer and dryer were outdated and the drier made a screeching noise that you can sleep though. The landlord replaced the units with a used set, which took 3 days to complete, leaving us with no was to do laundry. To his credit he offered a dry cleaning service but that didn’t serve our needs.
The refrigerator failed on us the third day and turned itself to “showroom” mode, and we had to throw away $300+ in groceries that we had just provisioned. The stove top was only compatible with one pan and we had to have a new set delivered after realizing this.
Durning the first day we noticed that the rugs were wet and there was a steady flow of water coming from a leak in the chimney. The flooring was coming up due to the moisture and the house definitely was leaning to one side.
The landlord parked his personal vehicle and RV in the driveway the second half of our stay.
Our second to last day he entered the house without warning or knocking.
There was no cable, just smart TVs.
The Nest AC unit seemed to only work half the time and there were notes stating that we could not adjust to under 73°.
The house served our purpose of a place to crash after a 16 hour workday, and for that reason only I would come back, otherwise I would suggest he takes some time to look into the issues listed above before renting this property out again.
