We are very glad that you liked the hotel as well as the beach and the new beach service that provided chairs, towels, water, etc. We will be making those small improvements you mentioned as well as many others in the month of July. Regarding the pillows and the mattress, this is something that depends on each person since most of our guests have told us they are very comfortable. We bought both the mattress and pillows at Macy’s from their Hotel Collection brand. Unfortunately, in regards to the tips, it is a standard practice at South Florida properties and restaurants to include them on the bill.

Thank you for your very good review. Every resort guest has to pay the daily Resort Fee and this is also common to all resorts in the Fort Lauderdale Beach area. So basically the only difference is the cleaning fee but still a way better deal when you take into account the discount prices.
