The receptionist was cheerful. The rooms were clean & comfy & recently remodeled. The take & go breakfast was perfect for us.

My room did not have a remote for the TV. I made the front desk aware of this around 4 PM, and then reminded them a couple more times. I went to front desk at 7:20, and front desk clerk acted like it had slipped his mind. He went through a drawer of remotes, trying to find the correct one and one with batteries. He went to my room and programmed remote, only to discover that volume did not work, and that the only way to hear TV was to sit in a chair less than 4 feet from TV. He offered to move me to another room, which I did not want to do at 7:30 PM. At around 10 PM, I wanted to take a jacuzzi, only to discover the jacuzzi function of the tub did not work. I wasn't going to make a deal of it then, as it took 3 1/2 hours to get a remote for the TV. I went to leave at 7 in the morning, and I took luggage to car, and came back to get my cooler and take my meds in the room, only to find my key did not work in door, and had to return to front desk to have it reprogrammed. Finally, this was second year in a row I stayed here for college alumni weekend, and second year in a row that the pool was not available, something to do with pool pump. I made front desk clerk aware of all these problems upon checkout, but no attempt was made to satisfy me. I would think that paying a premium price for a jacuzzi room, in a facility with a pool, on a weekend with premium prices for alumni weekend; that some type of refund would be offered. Not satisfied with room or service.

It advertised a swimming pool but the pool isn't open. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times in the past year and the manager first said it would be open maybe that weekend, that it was being worked on, that it would be open this March, and the maintenance guy was sick. They seem to tell you that with no intentions on opening it. The staff were nice. Some people seemed a little shady that hung around there.

No pet policy online. One sign on desk at which point is too late to cancel. Owner very unprofessional refused to communicate with customer. Also overcharged even employees couldn’t understand. All around a definite do not stay. I didn’t even finish my stay. Left a week early.

Had to ask for toilet paper and bath towels. Found coins on the floor in the bathroom and a sock under the bed. Stayed 3 nights and no bed change or clean towels.

The outside doors coming in were broken and did not require a key at all. Did not feel safe. Had to go buy my own blanket because the comforter was very worn and had cigarette burns in them.

Below average.
Was checking in late but called ahead and advised of that. Got there and waited 20 minutes to get assistance. The alternative entrances did not function with keycard. Linens were old and dingy. Carpets needed vacuuming.

Rooms unsafe for families to sleep. Parking lot unsafe to be in. Locks to secure building broken. If you don’t want to come home with pets I advise not staying there.

Probably need to start the hotel over.
Took15 minutes to check in computer wasn’t working right. Room only had one towel. Smoke detector was missing its battery. Lights in the bathroom and over the sink didn’t work. Chair was broken. They gouged us with the price because Mizzou game drove up demand. No way was this worth what we paid.

Did not have everything website said they had. Hot tub was broke asked for someone to come look at it. They never did. Did not have breakfast like state on website. Only got two towels for 4 guest.

desk clerk was trying to do a good job, but he was also trying to clean the room and get towels. had to call later to get the towels, had to call twice about tv not working several flies were in the room bedspread had several big holes in it!!!!!!!!!!! can not believe that you would allow your name with this hotel!!! will never use expedia again! what are you people thinking to list this hotel!

Very unsafe situation! Beware!! I only booked a stay here because all other hotels were booked and high priced because of MU football game. Just my daughter and I (I am mom) were traveling with 5 other families for a sporting event. The coach was the first to check-in and told she had no room or reservation and sent her to the Amerihost in Kingdom City. Upon arrival I was told by the manager that he would have to unlock my door with a crow bar because of a lock issue. He tried to assure me that no one could get in and there was absolutely no other room available. When we got there the cleaning ladies were in there at 8:30 pm … I did think this was strange but told them we would get our bags. When I came back the door was open… we entered and this is what we took in… door frame was busted up, the bathroom sink had dirt and dust on it and then tissue fixture mounted in the wall was disassembled on the counter. The sheets looked slept in, had a giant stain, and small holes. The kinda bed cover had stains and rips all over. The pillows looked slept on. They gave us only 2 pool towels for the shower. The a/c and heating unit did not work properly and tv would not turn on. We saw a small cockroach on the tub. The toilet was plugged. The real catcher was the giant hole in the ceiling over a nonfunctional hot tub that did have ceiling pieces in it. The tile trim was broken and falling apart. Need new towels, ours were threadbare. Breakfast was coffee, and juice. No food at all. The carpet in room needs replaced, bedspread had burn holes in it.

The guy at check in was great. Got to our room & the toilet had not been flushed nor would it flush. He came up to get us a different room but after checking several had to go back downstairs & re-evaluate where he could put us. The cleaning gal was finishing up a room so we ended up in that one. He was great but why rooms were still getting cleaned at 7pm is baffling. Poor employees is my guess. The room was clean, but it is a very outdated hotel & the towels look & felt like they were 20 yrs old. The price was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. Pool wasn’t an option & don’t expect breakfast…

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place should not even be offered on Expedia due to unsafe and unclean conditions, let alone open to the public. They lied to Expedia and a said they would give a refund and now they are ghosting us and Expedia. The environment was so unsafe that we were only their 5 hours and decided to switch hotels. Amenities are unclean or broken and bedding is stained, ripped and torn.

Convenient breakfast looked nice. Tv remote won’t work have to hook up volume and cable on back of tv. Refrigerator makes noise dripping all night breakfast is coffee and juice light next to bed needs socket pulled out to turn off other light doesn’t even work by mirror. Stains on comforter. I asked for first floor and we got a handicap room which is extremely small.

There is nothing good to say about this hotel. No security locks on the outside doors, walls in the room were all damaged, cover on the recliner was dirty and full of burn holes, hair in the bathroom, burn marks on the tub. I could go on and on. I have stayed in some dumps before but this place takes the cake.

I HAD BOOKED THIS TO TAKE MY GRANDCHILDREN SWIMMING FOR THE WEEKEND. WE GOT THERE AND CHECKED IN . WE WENT TO THE ROOM AND CHANGED INTO OUR SWIMSUITS. Please update the bed and pillows in room 110!!!
Over all it was a nice place. My only complaint is the condition of the bed and pillows. The bed needs replaced and the pillows were awful! They were so old and hard. Felt like they had rocks in them from all the stuffing balled up inside. TERRIBLE for comfort.
