“We stayed for 4 days enjoying the kind and thoughtful hospitality provided by Brendan Hamid and Hamada. The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Penang Hill...

“Extremely glad that we chose this hotel on this trip to Penang. Room was very nice clean and with lovely sea view. All the staff especially at the club were extremely nice, warm, helpful and very friendly thus made our stay welcoming. There is one staff in particular that stands out is Mr Samson from the club lounge. Thank you. Breakfast and cocktail food and drinks were very good clean and very well presented. ”

“rooms were good & spacious, although bathroom was a little small. the shaving mirror was hanging off the wall which make it hard to use. the room was quite and sleeping was easy. nice pool area with padded loungers. despite the size of the hotel we allways managed to get somewhere to lounge.”

“Firstly, if you get a room that is not facing the pool beware where it faces. There is a mosque beside the hotel and they do have prayer calls 5 times a day, including 1 before bedtime and another at 6am. For those not used to it, it can be very jarring. Food is mediocre and expected for the price paid. Facilities are worn... I mean pretty old at this point. Overall we made do with what we had and my kid still enjoyed our little vacation. This place is due for a refresh but meanwhile, I wish...

"Struttura situata una ottima posizione. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Tuttavia la struttura non è 4 stelle sia per lo stato di manutenzione che per la pulizia (come moquette nei corridoi sporca, il pavimento in camera mai aspirato e le pulizie quotidiane della camera discrete - si sono anche dimenticati di rimetterci gli asciugamani, scarico del bagno lentissimo a ricaricarsi, tv con solo 3 canali funzionanti). La colazione è a la cart con una selezione di piatti fissi tra cui scegliere ma non è a buffet come nelle foto. "
