Lo Yeng Keng Hotel è ricavato all'interno di una antica dimora cinese della quale mantiene i fregi, i colori e la disposizione delle camere tutte allineate intorno alla hall. Camere confortevoli, ben accessoriate, solo la piscina è un pò piccola. Colazione ricca di colori e sapori locali, oltre ai classici europei. La sera si anima con l'arrivo di avventori esterni interessati a passare una fresca serata nel bar/ristorante situato nel cortile...

“Questo piccolo albergo a Georgetown e' una perla "italiana". Il proprietario, infatti e' un italiano di origine veneta che gestisce l'hotel assieme alla moglie inglese. Siamo stati accolti per nome e alla reception un simpatico impiegato malese ci ha subito dato degli ottimi consigli per la visita della citta'. Il giorno di Natale siamo stati omaggiati di una fetta di panettone. Una vera rarira' in Malaysia. Raccomando sicuramente questo hotel.”

“I stayed only one night and it was quite good and comfortable. The only thing is that I had to repeat 3 times that I would like my breakfast to go and I told them to book a taxi for me in the morning and when I came down, taxi was not there and they looked at me like they are hearing my request for the first time. A bit more organization with the staff, that's all.”

“A very charming property that is just a short walk to the centre of Georgetown. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left. We especially enjoyed the pool and the tasty breakfasts. We stayed in the Sultan Suite which was perfect for our family of 4. We loved Georgetown - and Penang more generally - and if we return we would book to stay at Noordin Mews again without hesitation.”
