Das Hotel ist sauber und die Zimmer sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption leider nicht sehr kompetent... Leider haben wir nicht einmal Frühstück bekommen, obwohl dies auf der Homepage so beschrieben wurde. Wir waren bereits in vielen Hotels, aber ein Hotel ohne Frühstück gab es jedoch noch nie. Das Hotel wurde für die Gäste einer Hochzeit gebucht. Können wir leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Dafür, dass das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, war es sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Leider war die Empfangsdame an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich. Wir waren mit insgesamt 4 Paaren und 2 Kindern dort und sie war zu uns allen äußerst unfreundlich/genervt.

Nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück. Aber das Verhältnis Preis/Leistung ist nicht OK, da das Hotel dringend eine Renovierung/Modernisierung (z.B. ein Airconditioning) braucht.

Preiswertes Hotel nahe der Altstadt Gernsbach.
Die Zimmer sind in einem guten Zustand obwohl die Ausstattung langsam in die Jahre kommt. Das Hotel ist aus den 80er Jahren und hätte demnächst mal eine Generalüberholung nötig. Freundlicher Service und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältniss.

wir werden in Zukunft diese Unterkunft meiden,wir sind nicht verwöhnt - schlafen jedoch öfter in Hotelbetten wie in dem Eigenen , das sollte ein Urteil zulassen , nehmen wir eben ein Wohnmobil oder Zelt etc . wenn dieses Hotel keine fahrenden Handwerksburschen in seinen Räumen mag sollten sie das Kundtun , mfg : H. Lobüscher

Hotel in Stadtnähe
Nachts war es zeimlich laut, weil das Hotel an der Straßenbahn liegt. Die Schranke am Straßenübergang hat man vor allem nachts sehr gut gehört.

Rigtig hyggeligt hotel 7 km fra Baden Baden. Lidt ældre men meget pænt og rent. God service, nemme parkerings forhold. Fine store værelser med flot udsigt. Kan absolut anbefales...

We used Gernsbach as a base to drive around the Black Forest. Lovely old town area with good variety of cafes, bars and restaurants....all within easy walking distance of the hotel. there's a great Thai restaurant alongside the river, on the same side of the river as the hotel. Opposite the Thai restaurant on the other side of the river is a delightful beer garden attached to The Joker restaurant.

Nemt og hurtigt bestilt via nettet. Standard på hotellet er lig med tysk grundighed, ingen ting at klage over, bare ok.

Great hotel with a few issues
Unusual layout as reception is on the top floor. Looks to be an old apartment block turned into a hotel. They staff were excellent, very helpful and breakfast selection was huge. The only issue we had was the lack of air con. We visited when it was very hot and had yo leave the patio door open, as a result we had all the traffic noise and the local clock boinging every hour all through the night

angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereites Personal, Frühstück kostet extra, war aber seinen Preis 100%ig wert, große Auswahl und guter Kaffee.Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, könnte etwas aufpoliert werden. TV-Empfang schlecht eingestellt (Doppelbilder) aber wir waren auch nicht zum Fernsehen gekommen. Kann weiterempfohlen werden.

Staff très agréable, hotel propre et bien situé
Nous avions réservé deux chambres familiales et lors de notre arrivée l'une d'elle était encore occupée par une famille ayant décidé de prolonger son séjour. Le staff nous a gentiment proposé de prendre 2 chambres doubles à la place, sans frais supplémentaires. Les chambres étaient confortables, très propres, et bien équipées (frigo, tv, etc... sauf dentifrice et brosse à dent). Le personnel était très aimable mais tous ne parlaient pas anglais. Baden-Baden est à 11km à travers de charmantes routes et nous n'avons pas regretté d'être allés à Gernsbach pour profiter de meilleurs prix. Les environs de l'hôtel n'ont pas de charmes particulier mais l'ont peut entamer plusieurs balades depuis cet endroit dans les collines environnantes et jusque Baden-Baden.

Kinderfreundliches Hotel
Wir waren mit unserem kleinen Sohn (16 Monate) für zwei Nächte im Hotel. Die Aufnehme war sehr freundlich und der Service ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Babybett und Hochstuhl zum Frühstück, netter Service und unkompliziertes ein. und auschecken. Insgesamt hat das Hotel schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Rücken aber für unseren Kurztripp eine nette Unterkunft die wir immer wieder buchen würden.

Construction in area
It was hard to find the lobby, old decor and furnishings. I do not expect everyone to speak English when I am in another country but this made it difficult to communicate. This was last minute stay - I wish we had more time to review. Stay in Baden-Baden, right down the road.

Hotel Stadt Gernsbach
Hotel is a short walk from the pleasant old centre of Gernsbach. We had a large comforable room with balcony with views over the town and the Black Forest. Excellent breakfast and service. For an excellent informal evening meal try the Italian-run Altstadt da Orazio.

Great family hotel for low price
Stayed with two teenagers. Four beds in a large room. Very clean bathroom with deep tub. Great view from balcony. A food store with very good prices next door. Free parking, hearty breakfast for six Euros.
