I'm always nervous staying away from home; as a coeliac, it's sometimes a bit hit and miss as to whether I can eat safely.
One of the owners of the hotel has coeliac disease, so she is well aware of using separate utensils etc, so I had fantastic breakfast every day with no worries.
Three of us stayed in the Mendip room, which is a nice large room. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room.
The only slight downside was the shower was only just adequate (not much power, and difficult to control the temperature). Reading other reviews, it seems many guests choose to use the bath instead.
