We are sorry you didn't like the feel of Calypso. You are correct - we don't have bars and an 'atmosphere' - that's not the kind of accommodation we are. These apartments are quiet, intimate, self-catering accommodation with a shared pool and guests are expected to cook and clean for themselves - however if you want extra cleaning, we are happy to provide it at cost - much like you would have to pay at home. That said we do change towels every 4 days (not 8) and empty bins at the same time. Full cleans are provided after 7 nights - however your stay was only 4 nights so you did not experience this. You would probably be better off reserving a full-service hotel for your next holiday and paying the appropriate rates if you are hoping for hotel-type services.

Thank you for your review. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed your stay. Our check-in and check-out times are posted on all the websites where we advertise and, similarly to all other accommodation providers in the world, there is an earlier time of departure than arrival. This is to allow the accommodation to be cleaned between stays. When we are quiet we allow guests to stay at the pool once they have checked out. However we were full over Easter so we were not allowed to have extra guests on the complex due to the strict COVID regulations. We hope this did not spoil your stay too much.
