Staff goes out of their way to please you. However it looks like the building has had no maintenance for long time, even the window in our room had a gap that has to be filled with newspaper. They offered to change the room but, there wasn't anything better. Also extremely noisy, difficult to sleep, which had a big impact in our stay. Staff deserves 5 stars though

Great location, safe, and great staff members. Also - wonderful breakfast! Get the pho! It definitely wasn't as nice and new as the photos make it seem. The sheets were a bit dingy and stained. Overall was a decent affordable place in a great location.

Very good 3 star hotel.
Everything was very good. It was clean and comfortable with good breakfast and WIFI. Location near the church and lake is very good.

Un hôtel très bien situé et accueillant
L’hôtel est proche de la cathédrale d’Hanoï. Il y a une vue magnifique. Le personnel est tout particulièrement attentionné et prévenant. Ils répondent aux demandes des clients et résolvent toutes difficultés rencontrées L’atmosphère est très agréable et une ambiance familiale s’en dégage. Nous recommandons tout particulièrement cet établissement. Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel lors de deux séjours à Hanoï’

The location is great. Ideal for access to the old quarter but on the edge of it on a street that’s not too busy or hectic. The staff are excellent. Friendly and welcoming (even at 5:30am when we arrived) and very helpful. We’re so glad we chose this hotel for our first visit to Hanoi

Small cosy hoel
Service: overall is good. They are willing to change rooms for us due to it is too noisy for room with balcony, unfortunately, we changed into inner room with less prices but it is our own choice. One day there were some hotel customers letting out their children at 6am in the morning yelling and screaming all the time. hotel did not stop them which is a bit horrible to be waken up by this kind of noise. Room: rooms with balcony is nice with view but it is also noisy. Inner room has some kind of smell that you need to turn on air condition to remove it. it will be fine after a while. Photos on internet is a bit more prettier than it is in the hotel, however, overall is good. Breakfast: it is excellent. there is fruit buffet and also a la carte order. Location: nice location to old city.

우선 위치가 최고입니다. 성요셉성당 근처이면서도 조용한 편이고 호텔 바로 앞도 깨끗합니다. 직원들 모두 친절하며 불편사항은 즉각 해결해줍니다. 낡았지만 올드쿼터 분위기에 딱 맞고 특히 조식은 간단하지만 만점 플러스 알파입니다. 하노이에 다시 오면 이 곳에 묵을 겁니다.

So so. The water pressure was too low, and the street in front of the hotel was a bit small and a bit noisy. Location was good. The building and the room was old. Breakfast was 6:30 to 10:00, but I couldn’t have full breakfast service until 7 am.

Not that impressive if I'm totally honest....
Got to say i wasn't overly impressed with this place. On my first night the room I was put in was not up to standard and really quite grubby. I know that by staying in such a central location you cant really complain too much about noise, but i would at least expect thicker windows so at least some of the sound was drowned out, as it was i could clearly hear peoples conversations by the entrance of the Hotel. That said the staff listened to my concerns and moved me for the rest of my stay to a satisfactory room, but even that was nowhere near what I expected. I was especially disappointed, as from previous reviews, I was really thought thia place was going to be something special. That all said, it is in a great location behind the cathedral, and very central to everything worth seeing in Hanoi.

Very enjoyable place to stay
A great mid class hotel in the middle of the old quarter. The stand out feature of the hotel was the staff - incredibly helpful and always pleasant. Room was very comfortable and was exactly as advertised. Location is great - many good restaurants, bars, eating places, shopping, etc.

Nous avons passé une nuit à notre arrivée au Vietnam, la chambre était prête tôt le matin gratuitement. Acceuil hyper chaleureux. Vrai petit déjeuner avec fruits frais. Bonne literie, petit balcon. Hôtel bien situé. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande vivement. Manque un peu de place dans la petite salle aux heures de pointe pour le petit déjeuner

Absolutely Where You Need to Stay
As a family with no prior travel experience in Vietnam, we needed to lean heavily on the hotel staff for guidance and help. The Impressive Hotel lives up to its name. Firstly, the rooms are spotless (can’t say enough how grateful we are for meticulous cleanliness). Secondly, the breakfast is so good, which alone makes it worth the price. Thirdly, the staff go above and beyond to accommodate our needs as helpless tourists. We couldn’t be happier with this hotel and we stayed here every leg of our Hanoi trip and are so grateful that we did. Thank you, Impressive Hotel!!

Impressive stay at the Impressive Hotel
It really was an impressive expierence. The room was great, and the staff was amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. They were very knowledgeable and as this was our first stop in Vietnam it was comforting to have such a great staff. They spoke english very well. The breakfast spread was also impressive. The ride from the airport was a little higher cost (only because we stayed 1 night) than taking a grab but was extremely easy, especially after 25+ hours of travelling.

Great hotel near cathedral
From the time we arrived, welcomed with refreshments and smiles, to the time we left, the experience was excellent. The staff were helpful and went out of their way o accommodate us. Breakfast was good and abundant. Rooms clean. The location was good. Being near cathedral was a bonus. Lots of shops and cafes nearby.

성 요셉성당과 굉장히 가깝습니다. 그리고 호텔 내부는 굉장히 조용한 편입니다. 방음이 잘 되는거 같아요. 생각보다 객실이랑 침대가 커서 편안하게 여행했습니다. 아침 조식도 간소하지만 먹을 만 합니다. 직원들이 아주 친절하고 상냥합니다. 직원들의 밝은 인상과 태도가 가장 기억에 남습니다.

Impressive Hotel is "the Best"
Hotel tres bien placé dans le vieux quartier d Hanoï. Le principal atout de cet établissement est son personnel qui fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez bien dès vos premieres minutes. Des gens prévenants, sympathiques et tres charmants. Je ne vois pas pourquoi chercher ailleurs sur Hanoï. Impressive Hotel est "The place to be" sur Hanoï.

wonderful staffs, hotels.com should remind customers the booking is breakfast exclusive while most of the hotels around lake HOAM KIEM are free for guests, hotel offer their free breakfast as compliment. Happy stay and will surely have my next booking
