“Overall a terrible experience! My room smelled really bad. A strong oder of chlorox bleach mixed with a fowl oder. When I went to check out, The man at the front desk was helping a customer getting her a lid for her coffee. She said to him that her room had no black coffee, just an empty bag with no coffee. He did absolutely nothing, said nothing to her. I also had to wait outside awhile he locked the office to check my room so I could get my deposit back. I do not recommend this place to...

“It truly was not a very clean room. There were splatters of beverages on wall by garbage can. Also, some kind of splatters on wall above desk. Behind door in bathroom had not been cleaned or swept. We got fresh towels only, no making of bed. It wasn’t a quiet place. Also, no blow dryer in room which I haven’t seen in many years.”

“This hotel was not a pleasant experience for us. The front desk workers were non-existent. Seriously…how is no one ever there?? The front entry doors didn’t slide. They stayed open all the time. The whole first floor smelled strongly of weed when we arrived. By late evening, fans had been brought in and were strung all over the floor. The room wasn’t very clean at all. “Limited utensils for cooking. Nice pool Hair dryer was broken, someone brought a new one. Shower spray head did not work properly, but that was okay. Needed to wash clothing. Prices seemed steep. Really liked the refrigerator and full oven.”

We used it twice once we returned our rental car the day before and on the day of flight early morning! The hotel staff was very helpful! “My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute.
