“Beautiful and clean room with amazing river view.”

“It was a nice place to stay and served our needs for the days we were there. The shower curtain rod was a little weak and the internet was slightly unreliable, but the room was clean, the staff was nice, and there were complimentary cookies and coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby which were appreciated. The breakfast was also very good.”

“We arrived and waited at the property for 30 minutes before someone arrived at the window after calling and ringing the bell. The lady proceeeded to take my deposit and give me a key. I walked over to the room and when I opened the door the room was trashed. Beer cans, unmade beds and bloody towels. Just gross. We did not stay, we were told to get our monies back and the deposit would be returned. So on the holiday weekend, in the night had to go find a hotel and am still fighting for mu.mknies...

“Overall a terrible experience! My room smelled really bad. A strong oder of chlorox bleach mixed with a fowl oder. When I went to check out, The man at the front desk was helping a customer getting her a lid for her coffee. She said to him that her room had no black coffee, just an empty bag with no coffee. He did absolutely nothing, said nothing to her. I also had to wait outside awhile he locked the office to check my room so I could get my deposit back. I do not recommend this place to...

“quiet , clean comfy - restaurant next door. The electric car charger was not working properly but these things are common, and not sure it is the properties responsibility- but would have been great if it worked”

“The location is perfect. The large multiple bedroom units are great for large family gatherings. We suggest bringing lots of disposable dishes as only a very small number are provided. Our list of what to bring next year includes more silverware and knives, another cooking pot or two, more kitchen towels and washcloths, scissors, corkscrew, multiple hot pads (obviously we cooked all of our meals). Aluminum foil, hand soap for the kitchen, etc”

“My stay was comfortable the only thing I didn't like was the fact that expedia doesn't let you know about the $60 mandatory cash deposit and also I was woken up from my sleep at 4am by someone's barking dog I called and the front desk handled it.”

“My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. The only thing I would say is that it gets very warm in the room and I like to sleep in colder rooms so that was my only complaint about the stay. Everything else was a 10/10. I would...
