Dormire sui futon in un'isola incantevole
Guest House situata sull'isola di Miyajima dove consiglio di pernottare almeno una notte in quanto incantevole, soprattutto la sera quando i turisti che la visitano solo in giornata la lasciano deserta. La guest house è raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti dal molo dei traghetti. E' una casa in stile giapponese, con camere giapponesi e letti-futon dove dormire. Assolutamente da provare. Bagni in comune puliti così come le stanze. Il gestore parla bene inglese ed è molto gentile. A disposizione asciugamani e colazione inclusa nel prezzo con cucina in comune in cui si trova di tutto (té, caffè, marmellate).

Lovely guest house
I left my heart in this beautiful island,the guest house was fantastic and his owner,masaharu,is one of the most lovely person in japan. The kitchen is open 24 hours and partially free. The living room is awesome and comfortable. Masaharu and is family give to us 2 bicycles totally free. I have been 18 days in japan and it is the best hotel where I have been. I hope to return...

Loved the house and amazed by the decoration in the house. The Ryoken room was excellent with a view of the sea.The people who run the place were very hospitable.

Chambre d'hôtes très agréable et décoration soignée avec quelques objets d'art. Le clou reste la vue sur la baie de Miyajima depuis la chambre !

Amazing. Great hospitality. A bit of a walk from ferry port so would advise a taxi (700Y) if you have a lot of luggage. Otherwise it’s really really close to main attractions.

What a great place this was! If I visit the island again, I'll definitely stay here. The hostel has breakfast and drinks available in the kitchen and beer and sake for a slight charge. Thank you Junya, you were an excellent host.

Home Away from Home
Our group, a family of 9 from Hawaii & California, had a wonderful 2 night stay. The hostel feels more like an inn and is in a great location: on the other side of town, about a 15 minute walk if you know where you're going/have GPS assistance from the ferry. They have a wonderful Japanese bath and several other baths/showers. There are no convenience stores or markets on the island, so the frozen food ($3), sake/beer ($3), soft drinks and breakfast cereals/milk (both complimentary) were very appreciated. There are also a washer and dryer ($3/load), a variety of musical instruments that you can play, wi-fi and tons of travel literature. At the end of the dead-end street is a path that hooks up with the Mt. Misen Ropeway. There are floor to ceiling windows that look onto a small garden where local wildlife--deer and racoon dogs--love to visit (there's a resident indoor cat, as well). The private rooms on the second floor offer wonderful views of the town/water, and also have a sink and small refrigerator. The dorm rooms are on the first floor and are best for shorter stays, since the walls are thin. The owner/hosts are very respectful and accommodating.

Une atmosphère magique
L'ambiance du lieu est calme et à l'image de la beauté de l'île. Dans une maison traditionnelle, avec une grande pièce commune lumineuse et confortable propice aux rencontres, des chambres charmantes, des sanitaires très propres et surtout un magnifique jardin (avec en prime la visite de trois tanuki !), tous les ingrédients sont là pour passer un excellent séjour. C'est sans compter de plus la gentillesse du personnel et la proximité de la guest house avec le temple principal et la baie, qui permettent d'aller voir le coucher du soleil (ou lever pour les plus courageux) aux pieds du torii.

Réservez les yeux fermés, cette guest house propose un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. L'hôte était aux petits soins (comme la plupart des japonais), souriant, calme et agréable. La chambre traditionnelle japonaise est un highlight de mon voyage : dormir sur un futon sur des tatamis est une expérience qui m'a semblé authentique... et très confortable. Les parties communes de la maison sont remplies de bric à brac, mais cela lui donne un certain charme. Enfin, la maison est construite autour d'un petit jardin, dans lequel on peut observer des daims et des "tanukis" (sorte de raton laveurs) sauvages ! Le thé / café est gratuit à longueur de journée, et un petit déjeuner basique est proposé (pain de mie, céréales...). La partie habitée de l'île étant toute petite, cette guest house est facilement accessible à pied depuis le port (10/15 min). Dormir sur place vous permettra de voir le torii flottant au coucher du soleil, absolument magnifique, et d'entamer une randonnée vers le sommet du Mont Misen tôt le matin pour éviter la foule !

Très bon accueil
Hôte très accueillant. Il fournit à votre arrivée un plan du village, des informations pratiques pour les visites et la liste des restaurants ouverts tard le soir (très utile car l'île est un peu morte après le départ des touristes à la journée).Chambre traditionnelle avec belle vue sur jardin. Café à Volonté; Grande salle commune avec petite bibliothèque.

Amazing Hostel on Miyajima
I’d never stayed at a hostel before, but this was easily as nice as many hotels. We had a private room (make up your own futon), shared private toilets and multiple shared private bathing options, including a large traditional Japanese bath (water not very hot). There’s cereal, bread, jam, ramen, milk, tea/coffee, and soft drinks for free in the shared kitchen, and frozen food and beer/sake available for a nominal fee on the honor system. We were told there was no curfew, although we were never out past ten or so. It is about a 15-20 walk from the ferry, although very convenient to everything else on the island, so not great if you have a ton of luggage. We had carry-on and were fine. We checked out before 7 am and that was no issue.

Nice and quiet place to relax
Just like the quietness of this island. Away from the crowd and noise. The hotel is within walking distance to the shopping streets and scenic spots. Ideal place to get energise after extended months of work. Haha

The staffs of the hostel were nice and English is good, they recommended the sightseeing places and restaurants nearby! The building is a traditional japan house, there was a Japanese style bathroom inside, the view of the room is the garden, and deers sometimes appear in the garden!

A wonderful home
This is a large traditional home with lots of character. Very relaxed environment and close to all tourists sights. The owner is a great host who provides plenty of useful information. Overall, I was thrilled with my time here on Miyajima..

Very hospitable place with warm, friendly feeling.
The place is managed by a family who went out of their way to make us feel at home. It is close to all amenities on an an island which deserves a visit by anyone undertaking a trip to Hiroshima.

离严岛神社挺近的，就在背后，走过去7分钟左右。厨房，淋浴设施一应俱全，对面的菊乃家酒店还有付费泡汤。还有免费饮料，早饭。店家还将各种指示做的十分全面。总之非常好！

Inviting guesthouse
We absolutely loved the hospitality that the staff showed us here. There is a large common room with comfortable chairs and sofas where one can make origami, gaze at a lovely Japanese garden and even try your hand at shodō ( Japanese calligraphy) while enjoying free tea and coffee. The bathroom and Japanese bath areas were very clean. We loved the atmosphere, a real Japanese experience. Basic western breakfast (cereal, toast, coffee and tea) is included, or you can cook some ramen noodles or miso soup.

Absolutely wonderful, very highly recommended!
This is the best place we've stayed at so far in our 3 weeks in Japan. The owner was helpful, friendly, kind and accessible; the place itself is easy to find and gorgeous - a traditional ryokan, each room is large and very comfortable. The traditional Japanese bath was great, and we really appreciated the free activities in the living room, the breakfast supplies, and the fact that we could leave our luggage while we traipsed up Mt Misen. We were very sad to leave!

Perfektes Guesthouse
Besser ist fast nicht mehr möglich! Angefangen vom herzlichen Empfang über die Größe der Zimmer. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ist super und die Möglichkeit des japanischen Bades im Haus wurde gerne genutzt. Die Ausstattung und das Frühstück sind ebenso super. Rundum ein super Guesthouse in welchem man gerne ein paar Tage verbringen kann!

Our best stay over 14 nights in Japan
What a wonderful accommodation find on a delightful island and so easy to get to from Hiroshima (free travel if you have a Japan Rail Pass!). Five rooms upstairs for guests and two downstairs overlooking the garden gave the feel of an authentic small boutique Japanese hotel but it was so easy to make you feel at home! Opened by owner Masaharu Terazawa less than 3 years ago, he should be proud of his achievement and how well the property operates. We stayed only one night and were welcomed by Junior (son) and given a thorough briefing on facilities. The kitchen has everything needed, if self catering, with laundry facilities and shower/bathroom adjacent. Bedroom and sleep quality is excellent being away from the main tourist routes but within 10 minutes walk for convenience. The shared sitting area is great to allow chat with other travellers and there is plenty of tourist information available in the brochures which are kept up-to-date. WiFi is strong everywhere. If you are lucky you will see early morning visitors (deer and raccoons) in the garden. The guesthouse is one of the best I've stayed at anywhere in the world for homeliness, comfort and it's welcome. Thankyou.

Tolles Hostel mit wundervoller Aussicht
Die Zimmer sind wunderschön in diesem Hostel. Sowohl wir als auch die Gäste, die im Zimmer neben uns eincheckten, waren hin und weg. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und eine Übernachtung auf der Insel lohnt sich für den Sonnenuntergang und um morgens schon vor den anderen Touristen die Tempel besichtigen zu können. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieses Hostel fahren und fand den Preis von 10.000¥ für unsere Zimmer angemessen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man sich erholen kann und morgens gibt es tierischen Besuch im garten. :)

宮島口から宿までの距離は結構ありました。 送迎が無いのでタクシーでの移動、もしくは歩きになります。 観光を楽しみながら移動もまた楽しみのひとつかと思います

Best hostel that I've ever stayed
This is the best hostel that I've stayed. Highly recommended. Japanese style house & room with lots of beautiful decorations. Lots of shower spaces and a free private Japanese style spring. Free snacks, free drinks, & free breakfast. About 10 minutes walk to Torii. Best price among similar hostels. We are thinking about staying in this hostel again for vacation in the futuer.

This was one of the loveliest places I've ever stayed. The location was good. The staff were great and so helpful. The room and views were lovely. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Surprisingly Comfortable and Welcoming
To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect. But Jun (the host) was exceptional in courtesy as well as in being a host. The place wasn't hard to find (central, just off a quiet residential street). The rooms were charming, clean (as well as the bathroom/shower facilities).
