Quaint little country house
Taylor Station is the perfect house rental. When you first arrive you see a small front porch, perfect for just sitting and decompressing. When you walk in you automatically feel like your home. There is every accommodation you can think of from a laundry area all the way through to a 3 bedroom sleeping area. They supply all basic necessities for the kitchen,bedrooms and baths. They provide ample TV service and fast speeed internet. If there is ever any problems Carole and George are quick to resolve them. They have a beautiful fenced in backyard which is great for dogs and children to run free. The back porch is the perfect size to sit and enjoy the nice breeze and rainy evenings. There is ample storage space too. If we ever need to rent another house this would be our first choice!! Yes it is by a train, but really you don't hear it unless your really focused on it. This was the perfect choice for a 3 month stay as it is centrally located near everything. Regards, Kristine & Robert Reisser

Great place
Lovely home like feel and great location! Carole was a wonderful host and made us feel welcomed. Yard was great for the dog too!! Would recommend highly when visiting the Chattanooga area 😊

Just what I envisioned
Carole's property was JUST what I've been needing for quite some time. A big fenced yard-for my dogs to have room to enjoy. And a big yard for me to watch my dogs enjoying themselves. And to relax with just the perfect amount of privacy. I loved the big TV-picture was fabulous. And I loved the area. Lots of beautiful parks and hiking. And so convenient with shopping and restaurants so close. I also enjoyed the train going by many times in a day. Many Thanks for the stay. Carole was such a down-to earth host.

Had a great time!
We loved the house. It is quaint but not not overly. Kitchen has everything! House had everything we needed except for ice when we first got there. We like to have a cocktail when we arrive. Luckily we had a few with us and the ice maker worked fast. Had a little difficulty with the TV but Carole sent someone over right away to help us master it. Our Big dog loved the huge back yard, too bad it was so darn hot all weekend she couldn’t stay out longer but she managed to check it all out. She liked the back porch too. We would definitely stay here again. It’s an easy drive into town or to the airport to pick someone up at midnight (which I had to do).

Family Reunion
My family and I enjoyed our stay in Hixson during our family reunion. The location of the home was perfect for our Chattanooga activities. The home was clean and comfortable for everyone. The instructions were explained clearly and the accommodations we're adequate. We would love to stay here again in the future if the home is available.

Home Away from Home.
Our stay could not have been any easier. Check in was very easy. The house was in excellent condition. The neighborhood was quiet, except the trains. But I loved hearing them. That was our one reason for coming. Riding the trains. If you want a great place to stay this is it. Our home away from home. If we are lucky , we hope to get this house again. All we had to do was bring our food. Everything else furnished. I would recommend this for anyone. Couples, families and pets. You will not regret it. One of our best trips!!!

Family Reunion

Cozy little house in a very good location
Came to Chattanooga for daughters graduation from UTC and wanted a place where we could not only stay but have a graduation celebration party with close friends and family. The house was perfect with a large fenced yard for our dogs, an adorable little garden area in the back, plenty of room inside for everyone to mingle, clean, and tastefully decorated. We would definitely stay again!

Great vacation house

Cute house—great yard for the dog!
Great experience at this home! Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, and convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The backyard was fenced and flat—great for our dog. Carole was very accommodating on our last minute request. She was very nice to deal with. Highly recommend!

Cozy retreat w friends and dogs for agility trial
3 girlfriends w our dogs stayed here to go to a nearby agility trial. Everything was perfect! Cozy, comfortable, and clean. Everything we needed. And decorated for Christmas!! Lovely large flat fenced yard. Very relaxing. Carole was great to work with. Thank you!!

So cozy.
We loved staying at Carole's Hixson home. It was immaculate and comfortable and very cozy. Everything you could need is available. Just wish we had taken our pup to enjoy the HUGE, flat fenced yard. And that we had been there during the day. It would have been a great place to lounge around. I hope to return next time we are visiting Chattanooga (a fantastic city)!

Cozy, comfortable and spacious!
We loved our stay at Carole’s place! With 5 adults we had plenty of space to spread out between the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the living room provided ample space for everyone to hang out. A large couch, plus a loveseat and a lounge chair made our down time super comfortable. We were only a short 15 minute uber ride to downtown and enjoyed our time at Moon River Festival in Coolidge Park. We will definitely consider staying here next year if the festival is back in town!

Great family vacation.
If your looking for a place that’s close to all the sites, but you want peace and quite at the end of your day then look no more for a place to stay as this is the place. All the comforts of home with a kitchen well stocked with all you need to prepare any meal. As a matter of fact Ms Taylor had the most wonderful brownies waiting on us after our long drive to our vacation home. They were wonderful. There is plenty of room to unwind in either the living room or read a book (best selling novels provided) in the cozy nook just off the kitchen. We did both. This was a family vacation with our daughter and her family. Our granddaughter who is 3 loved her room as there were toys for her to play with. She and I had many hours of playtime together. Which I loved as she does not live close to us. Thank you Ms Taylor. This was such a special touch. The yard is fenced and beautiful. We enjoyed our time on the comfy porch where we could unwind and enjoy watching the birds. It was almost like home as we have bird feeders and love watching the birds. Now I don’t know if our host had anything to do with this part, but there was even a bunny relaxing in the yard with us. Looks like he knew the perfect place to stay as well! I want to say thank you to our host Ms Taylor you thought of everything. I don’t believe we have stayed at a more comfy place that provided all we needed in a place to stay. We will be seeing you again as this will be our new home away from home when visiting Chattanooga. Thank you for helping to make this the best family vacations.

Great house! We had all we needed to make breakfast and get on our adventure. It has a nice big yard in a quiet neighborhood. The trains go by regularly, but that was ok. We would definitely stay here again.

A hidden jewel!
The bungalow was absolutely perfect for our family of 5; it is spacious, relaxing, and inviting! The beds are very comfortable, the living room is relaxing, and the backyard is perfect to walk around and enjoy nature's soothing elements. The location is an ideal focal point to going anywhere in Chattanooga in a short period of time. If you are looking for that "home away from home feel," then I highly recommend the Taylor bungalow! Adorable, well-maintained property + convenient location
This home was perfect for our family of four: well-maintained and well-equipped kitchen with cozy dining space. We really appreciated the toys Carole kindly set up for our kids! It's important to note that the home is located close to train tracks that are heavily used 24/7. I highly recommend bringing a white noise machine (which we did based on other reviews). Overall, we'll definitely consider staying here for future visits with our extended family.

Fun week with family
Wonderful house great location. Kitchen stocked well with plenty of utensils to cook and eat with. We were 6 women in this house and all slept very comfortably.

Great place!
We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the fenced backyard. The brownies Carole left were amazing!!! As another person mentioned, the photos don’t do this house justice; it’s such a nice place. Super clean and the perfect size. My only issue was the proximity of the train, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Great place for a family or small group to stay. It’s super close to Chattanooga and there’s a great little mall with lots of restaurants right around the corner. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway
The house was perfect for our weekend getaway as a family to Chattanooga. The neighborhood was great. The amenities were perfect for our family. The back yard was huge for our dog to run around in and make a friend with the dog next door. She also left brownies and drinks for our arrival. We would highly recommend and would choose to stay here again.

Nice house, conveniently located.
We enjoyed everything about the cozy bungalow. Exactly what the 5 of us needed. Plenty of room and close to everything we wanted to see. Clean, comfortable and the cake Carole left for us was delicious. Will definitely recommend it to relatives for future stays.

Great stay
We had a great time staying at Taylor station. The pictures don't do the house justice. It's a really cute place and very conveniently located. Just a few minutes to get to downtown. Carol was great. She left fresh cake for us and also was so considerate to leave toys for our girls to play with. We'll definer stay again for any future trips to Chattanooga.

Perfectly located, clean, cozy home
The home was so clean and comfortable! It was just minutes from downtown Chattanooga, yet far enough removed to feel homey and not like a rental. Our host was amazing and so pleasant to interact with. All future vacation rentals will now be compared to this experience!

Cozy little bungalow
We loved staying at Taylor Station! We were a family of five (plus one dog) traveling to see Chattanooga. The house provided the perfect setting for us. The house was clean, cozy and inviting and accommodated our large family perfectly. There were even sodas, water, brownies and gluten free snacks waiting for us upon our arrival - so thoughtful. The back yard is large and spacious for dogs and kids to play in and our dog even made friends with the dog next door! We spent busy days in the city and site seeing in the area so the house was always a welcome site at the end of the day. The house was close to a CVS, EarthFare, Starbuck’s and zlupi’s Pizza (delicious!). We would definitely stay here again!

Home is very cute, clean, and cozy!!
We had a wonderful time at Taylor Station. We are a family of six with 4 teenagers, and this house was great. It is close to everything Chattanooga with all the amenities of home. There are even movies, boardgames, puzzles, and books. My kiddos had fun playing games when we were not out sightseeing or hiking. The house is very clean and well maintained. We will definitely book again for our next Chattanooga visit!

Cozy home close to amenities
What a cute, comfy home for small family or couples to visit. We were in town to purchase our retirement property and our son, daughter in law and 9 wk old grand daughter booked this home. Being our first time using a service like this we were skeptical, but what a pleasant surprise!! The home is well kept and comfortable. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and made for a good nights rest. Having 2 full baths makes getting ready a breeze. Our hostess was so thoughtful and even found an article on the little community where we purchased our property. The icing on the stay was the delishous brownies that were waiting for us on our arrival! We will definitely rebook this property on our next visit!!

Perfect home for family and dogs
The house worked out perfect. Nice yard for dogs. Nicely updated and decorated. Homemade brownies waiting for us when we first arrived. Took us a few days to get adjusted to the numerous trains that run all day and particularly at night. Would stay again.

Awesome!
We had a great time at Taylor Station! The house was perfect size for 5 adults to stay and entertain a few more. The neighborhood is quiet and the large, fenced in yard was great for our dog. There is a train that startled the first time by, but it was easy to ignore. The owners had everything set up when we got there and were very accommodating for early check-in; they even left some treats for us and the dog! I would highly recommend this home for its amenities, location, and charm!

Great place for the price!
We chose this house because it was in a good location and the price was great. What a pleasant surprise to walk in and have fresh baked brownies as a welcome gift from Carole, the owner. The house seemed newly renovated with nice, comfy furnishings. Close to downtown, mall, and many restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!
