Tranquil Lake house on Hamilton Reservoir. Sleeps 7 comfortably

On a hill overlooking the lake: 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, kitchen (dishes, pots/pans, microwave, coffee maker, air fryer, etc.) living room/dining area with deck. Gas grill, table and 4 chairs with an umbrella upstairs deck. One level living.
Full family room with sofa bed (queen), loveseat, twin daybed, laundry room with stacked washer and dryer, another deck, with a fire pit on lower level. Outside shower lower level. TV (both up & down), Wi-Fi. Books, games, and puzzles for something to do on a rainy day.
Steps down to the road (go to the right) that leads to a private beach at the lake.
Hopefully everything you need to relax and enjoy the view and the lake itself. Hiking trails nearby. The Maine Attraction restaurant is right up the road (great seafood). There’s a water skiing show every Friday evening (check time, usually around 7-7:30). Sturbridge is right up the road with the Old Village, wonderful restaurants, and antique shops. Boston is 2 hours away, Salem and the North Shore, Gloucester, and Rockport (2.5 hours), Hartford (1 hour), Berkshires (2 hours). Everything is within a days drive.

Comfort with a View
Not really waterfront. The stairs down to the water were covered in moss and leaves, an accident waiting to happen! House was clean and comfortable. Very welcoming. Couch could use a cleaning from previous dogs. Had a lovely stay, and felt comfortable. Close to everything

Nice little spot
We came up to Mass for a long Holiday weekend and the whole reason of the trip was to play Maple Hill disc golf course. We chose this location since it was on the lake and seemed like a quiet area. We were only 30 minutes from the course and everything you need was close enough. The house was clean and comfortable. There were little bugs that got in from outside but that is to be expected in the woods with an older house. The little updates to paint and decor were a nice touch. We didn't walk down to the water so I can't say much to that affect and we didn't see any neighbors while we were there although we weren't at the house very long each day. LOVE that there is a baby gate at the top of the stairs since we have 3 children, two of which are 2 and under.

Pretty Alright
It was nice and cozy and the lake was especially nice, if booking in the summer though, definitely be on the lookout for a good amount of bugs getting in the house. They weren't too much to deal with but I could've used without them.

Not tranquil- not a lake house
The house is next to a torn down home- a literal tear down. Upon checkin we went down to the water, down the steps. The neighbor came out and said we were trespassing. He said he was going to call the cops on us. I told him that the owner said it was steps to the water and we followed the steps from the photo. I called the owner and she told me the only water access is in the woods. It was a wooded area that is not cleared, no where to sit and no beach or sand. It just drops off. She told me that’s the water access. Inside the trees. We tried to have a fire using her fire pit that night. The fire pit did not light initially and when it finally did, it barely lit a flame. Went to bed- the mattress was horrible. Very basic, no cushion, great if your 20 y/o, not older. The next day we tried to find the beach for the neighborhood. every neighbor came up to us telling us to make sure to follow the rules. We had 5 couples harass us about whether we were supposed to be there or not.The only fun we had this weekend was when we weren’t at the home.The neighbors clearly do not want vrbo people. They told us so.One neighbor came up to us upon check in, and said “be careful of the neighbors, one thinks he owns the steps but you u can use them to go the water”. When we did that, that’s when the neighbor threatened us.I have a knot in my neck from the beds.It was supposed to be a stress less baby moon but now I have more stress. Oh,and they didn’t disclose the cameras-they’re everywhere

Leisure by the Lake
We had a nice extended weekend at the lake. A little trek to the little beach area, but the kids were fine with that, and have some FISH stories to tell. New to the rental market, the owner was very responsive to our questions and concerns.
