“A great place to stay at if you plan to visit Chatsworth or Bakewell area It is like going back in time, but still get to enjoy modern amenities. All staff we encountered with were all super nice and welcoming. The room was amazing and food was superb. ”

“Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out.”

“L'albergo è in un palazzo non recentissimo con arredamento non proprio moderno, ma comunque ben conservato. Le camere sono spaziose (più dei classici Holliday Inn Express) e la colazione era veramente buona. Se volete far tappa a Sheffield è una buona scelta, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo”

“The room was really really nice. We stayed in the room with the round stain glass Window, which was really beautiful. We’d travelled to the area to go to Chatsworth house for the Christmas market et cetera, which was great. Staff in the hotel were pretty friendly, more so in the restaurant than at the desk. The room was lovely although I would say that they need to change the carpet around the tub in the room as there were lots of water stains around it which spoilt the feeling of luxury...

“Probabilmente uno dei migliori posti in Buxton per soggiorni di breve-medio periodo. A Buxton é difficile trovare un hotel che abbia un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Non si tratta propriamente di un hotel, ma sono delle stanze al di sopra di un pub, quindi non avrete una hall o uno spazio relax: ma la buona notizia è che potrete rilassarvi direttamente nel loro beer garden.
