“The room is immaculate, there are nice touches like ground coffee and a french press, first time I have had this even in £500+ a night rooms. There is plenty of free parking on the street outside. The only thing to be mindful of is that there is a big step both into the room and the bathroom for those with reduced mobility like myself - this is in addition to the 6 steps i was aware of. There is no aircon or fan so we opened the bedroom and bathroom windows and it was fine. Old school air...

“The hotel was clean and well kept. Zero issues with the room or facilities as they all met expectations. All the staff were polite, professional and friendly. Special mention to Harry, Clare and the chef for going above and beyond to help with an issue I had(car trouble, not hotel related). Would recommend and would definately book again if in the area.”

A beautiful location within the Chatsworth estate in old style properties with plenty of character. Just a few steps away is a lovely local pub The Beeley Inn serving delicious food (the ox cheek is to die for,) agreeably it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Ideal for a special treat.”

“Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday! Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens and if you have a bike, the Peak District is also close by. I loved Sheffield and I loved the Florentine.”
