Ottimo albergo per dormire , non per soggiornare
Sonor appena stato in questo albergo. Lo scelto in base alle recensione sul vostro sito e perché ero a Hurghada per una settimana di immersioni, perciò non avevo la necessità di un albergo al mare, quindi corrispondeva a i miei bisogni. Le stanze sul davanti sono assai rumorose per via della strada molto battuta davanti all'albergo e al '"vizietto " che hanno i conducenti di suonare spesso il clacson. Le stanze dietro sono molto più tranquille ma ogni mattina c'è la "sveglia" con la prima preghiera delle 04.30 . Il personale della ricezione è molto cortese e disponibile, quello del servizio è piu occupato a fumare e a guardare la televisione che c'è al bar , all'entrata del ristorante. Non ho cenato al ristorante perché era vuoto e spesso con le luci spente. Il buffet della prima colazione è limitato e per 7 giorni ho mangiato le stess cose. L'albergo non offre animazione e non è proprio vicino al centro di Hurghada perciò bisogna prevedere di spostarsi col taxi. L'unica animazione che ho trovato in zona è la Village Road che offre vari ristoranti , negozi e shopps egiziani.

L'unica cosa che ha lasciato scontenti me, i miei due figli ed il mio amico (ho prenotato tre camere), è che non venivano cambiate le lenzuola. Dopo sei giorni abbiamo dovuto chiederlo.

IL PERSONALE E' MOLTO CORDIALE E DISPONIBILE, SEMPRE ATTENTO ALLE ESIGENZE DEI CLIENTI. LE CAMERE O MEGLIO I MONOLOCALI SONO MOLTO MOLTO CARINI E SPAZIOSI E ANCHE LA PULIZIA E' DIREI PERFETTA. C'E' A DISPOSIZIONE UNA BELLA PISCINA, NON GRANDISSIMA MA TENUTA BENE E LA COLAZIONE E' ABBONDANTE E SODDISFACENTE. VISTO CHE LA SPIAGGIA NON E' VICINISSIMA, TUTTE LE MATTINE E' DISPONIBILE IL TRASPORTO CON NAVETTA PRESSO UN ALTRO ENORME RESORT CON PISCINE OVUNQUE E UNA SPIAGGIA MOLTO BEN ATTREZZATA E UN MARE MERAVIGLIOSO!! Really enjoyed my 8 night stay at Solymar and works definitely stay again. The reception staff are superb. Sherif avd Ahmed gonout of their way to ensure guests are happy and looked after. They organised me a fantasy excursion at short notice, which was not only well organised but superb value. It is obvious the staff really take pride in their work. The hotel is compact however the suites are huge. Mine (110) was huge.. bigger than my apartment in London! Housekeeping are very efficient and the rooms and linen are cleaned/changed frequently. The hotel isn't beachfront but is very close the airport in less touristy part of Hurghada. I really enjoyed the range of ships and eateries nearby, catering for both locals and visitors. I felt safe in the area. Beaches (Dreams Beach/Old Sheraton) are a 5 mib cab ride away. It cost be 50 egp (80p!) each way. The breakfast is wonderful and superb value and I'd highly recommend. omelette cooked to order and a good selection of pastries, cheese, fruit and yogurts. Dinner is also good value and I had it 3 times. It was a bufget with bref/chicken each time.The chefs are wonderful guys. I'm so pleased to have found the Solymar. I didn't want to spend my week at one the big resort hotels, that only cater to north eiropean/russian tourists. The Solymar has a much more mixed crowd. Thank you to everyone who helped me to have such a good holiday. I hope to return.

Very cheap and very close to the airport. The apartments were ridicuously large. It's perfect place to stay for a night or 2 if you are arriving in or leaving Egypt. I would stay again.

Great value
The location of this Hotel is within a 25 minute walk from the airport. It is a 10 minute walk away from a strip of restaurants and shops/bars. Out the main door turn left then first right continue straight until you reach the strip. The Hotel is an excellent budget hotel in all but one aspect, which for me was the wifi. Room wifi poor at best and lobby wifi not strong enough to support a whatsapp video call, but did support an audio one. The room for a solo traveller was a suite including, kitchenette, lounge hallway, bathroom ,bedroom and two balconies(307). This was spacious, basic and clean. The hotels heatbeat comes from Ahmed on reception who will organise tours for you at a fraction of the Get Your Guide price. Some tours are long in coach travel which was ok by me but not everyones cuppa.He is also helpful in many other aspects. Do not compare this hotel with the luxury brands but if budget is you priority this has excellent value in bucket loads.

I can say that the employees are very helpful in every way. It has new and well-maintained rooms. It has a restaurant that serves best quality meals. I can say that its only drawback is that it is not very close to the seaside.

I had a pleasant stay at Solymar Ivory Suites. Thanks to the receptionist who enquired about my wifi requirements before room allocation. This accommodation offers a good wifi connection despite a technical issue encountered on the first day which was resolved by the staff. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot water supply was consistent. The check-in and check-out processes were fast. The location is convenient with eateries and marts around. One minor drawback was the bedding which could be improved by providing a proper blanket instead of a white sheet.

The hotel was okay at its most, I didn’t expect much for the price. However I’m pretty mad that they charged me for “taking” something from the mini bar. Recommendation: If you buy a beverage at any store outside, throw your garbage someplace else, because their whole basis for charging me was because they found a bottle that apparently was the same brand as the one in fridge. It was only 40 EGP, but still I don’t like my integrity questioned, much less from a person who can’t even check an inventory. Location was okay and near the airport, however not even that will make me change my mind as the WORST hotel I’ve stayed at.

Property is clean and spacious. Feels more like 4* accommodation. We checked in at 03:00am and the process was nice and easy, the reception staff were really helpful. Good place to stay if you are familiar with the area.

Clean and friendly place
The hotel is near restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It is a very clean place and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is clean, but only sun until 2 pm.

Simply the best staff helpful and very freindly
The staff were fantastic. The manager Joshep went a long way out of his way to help me, when the airline lost my suitcase for 10 hours. The reception staff could not have done more. I was only staying one night, but felt like a very valued customer.

Exceptionally helpful
A great stop fir the airport. Sheraf at reception was exceptionally helpful and good with english. Clean accommodation. Last minute booking with an efficient check-in. Thank you Sheraf for all your help.

The location is very convenient and close to most attractions but the beds mattresses are very old and uncomfortable and when I asked for a solution they had no options

Great value atay
Staff was super friendly. Housekeeper was one of most detailed I have seen for long time. First night we had few mosquitos in the room, but after spraying one 2nd day we got rid of them. Breakfast was great value given the low price. Only negative thing was that wifi only works at lobby but not in rooms.
