This renter was very demanding to me but I tried to resolve every issue as quickly as possible. she was rude to my cleaner who I sent to set out traps for the previously unknown mice, she was rude to my pool/spa guy who I sent to clean the spa filters, even though the spa was very clean when they arrived, and they wouldn’t let him through the garage to do his work, When a renter starts their visit on Saturday evening, there is no way to arrange to have anything changed until Monday, you are lucky if by paying extra you can get them to come Tuesday, because the stgeorge area is the fastest growing in the country. and all laborers and tradesmen are backed up. I addressed every issue she complained about as promptly as possible but she was still unhappy about everything! Some people are just impossible to please!

Some people just like to lie. I checked with the boss at pool tech and no such comments were ever made. He simply said the pool filters needed to be cleaned, which was done the same day. No one from pool tech ever said the pool was unsanitary, because it wasn’t. I asked this renter for pictures of the complaints she had and she said she had them but never produced them. I have a picture record of the very clean chlorinated pool and full spa sent to me by pool tech just before this renter arrived. I also have nine pictures of the very clean house just before this renter arrived. I find it sad that she would disparage the young cleaner I pay to do a very thorough cleaning job. I received and listened to every complaint this renter made and weighed what she said against the evidence (pictures) I had received just before their arrival showing a totally different story. I got screamed at by the renter numerous times and after telling her I wanted to respond in a kinder way than I then felt I would talk to her again in a few hours or days, I hung up. She called again and again yelling at me and giving me little to no opportunity to point out the conflicting testimony I had of things. According to pool tech, renters sometimes make things up in order to get a refund. I guess it worked for her this time because I sent her a $300 refund just because she was unhappy. I hope other owners read this because she was very nasty and they wouldn’t want to rent to her.

I’m so sorry the yard was not up to your expectations, we have been paying yard guys to do a cleanup they weren’t doing. This has been corrected now. We had no way of knowing that neither of our pool cover vacuums worked. We bought a new one and ordered another. I’m glad the inside of the house was great.

I’m so sorry your visit was not as good as a previous one. As owner I have been addressing all pool issues this summer as promptly as possible. Both pool cover companies are 2 to 3 weeks out when you call and they added an extra week due to last weeks rain. They were supposed to come last week and they are coming tomorrow. We have a monthly pest control service and they will come back if there are any issues. I was unaware of any staples or other hazards until reading this review so if I’m not told about them I can’t address those issues. I will have them fixed before another renter comes. In the future please make me aware of any problems immediately upon arrival and I’ll get someone there promptly. I have always tried to keep this home a very nice rental but if no one tells me about things I can’t repair or replace them. Thanks. Joyce.
