“This Inn has hidden beauty beyond the parking lot. Explore the grounds - they are beautiful! We saw a deer in the late afternoon by the creek. Lots and Lots of chairs and tables by the pool to just enjoy the beauty of the hill country. Also fire pits for cool evenings. Breakfast was great, loved the waffles. Only one complaint, the coffee was too weak and had very little taste. I would definitely recommend it. 4/9/2026 Houston”

“Clean rooms ”

“some covered parking available. walking distance to main street was approx 1/8 mile. walkable for this 70 yr old in decent shape. room was clean. breakfast is basic. i would stay again.”

“The room was clean and the proprietors were very friendly, kind and helpful but the property is a bit run down. Bathroom recently renovated, though, and the beds were fine. Towels were skimpy. A fine, relatively inexpensive place to sleep for one night.”

“Parking was great. Some screaming cats at nighttime were a surprise but not a big deal. Only serving breakfast on the weekend was a disappointing surprise as that was not mentioned on the travel webpage we chose the hotel from.”

“Charged Marriott price for Motel 6 quality. Rooms very dated from mid 70s. Washer broke, ice machine broke. One light in the room. Refrigerator sounded like emergency warning system when it kicked on. Peep holes not covered. Look for somewhere else.”

“The bananas were old with brown spots. The tangarines were green and wrinkled. Those were the only fresh things put out. Everything else was packaged. Walmart yogurt. The ckerk recyckes the key card envelope. We were asked to return it. We weren't it's first customers. Phone# written on the back. Tub was filthy. AC was noisy and clanking. ”
