“Walden Retreats was a most enjoyable stay! I will definitely be back. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was professional and courteous. My only recommendation would be to have more than one cart to drive up the hill. Beautiful views!”

“A small, quite, old fashioned hotel....clearly well taken care of considering it's age...simple, clean, was honestly like staying at my grandma's in 1996. Some people like fancy ammenities and modern updates, if it's not broken, why are we fixing it? Basic and extremely clean. ”

“All the staff was very friendly. Room was clean but needs a little updating. I understand that renovations are currently being done. Breakfast was typical. Room had a great view of river right on it. Pool looked nice and clean Had it been a little warmer I would definitely have jumped in. If you like geocaching, there is one on the property.would definitely stay again. ”

“Very fun stay in comfortable camper. Very relaxing. I would have appreciated more lighting in the driveway to find our camper easier. I arrived after dark and it was extremely dark around the property, but when camping that’s usually a good thing. ”
