Hotel a Ingalls

“Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area.”

“This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel. There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast.”

“We have stated this Hotel number of times while in the Sprucepine area. They are renovating the rooms, so some are updated, some are not but are still functional. The Hotel has really easy parking in front of your room, you can get a good night sleep here.”

“We always wanted to stay here and now we have! The views and campus were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was quaint but not sure worth the luxury price. Air conditioner was a little loud which I guess helped quiet the talking at the bar since our room was close to it. Ice machine was outside and there is no elevator if you are older and need that. “The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.”

“Very old and not well kept. I was afraid to touch anything. I happened to have a black light and after scanning the bathroom I decided to leave. Expedia was very helpful with giving me a refund ”

“Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. ”

“We spent a long weekend in June and it was great. The host communicated with us as needed and answered all our questions. Check in was easy and fast. Parking was close. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The views!!!!!! We were a little worried about not having AC, but it was really cool outside at night and there were fans if we needed it. It was a total non-issue. We hope to stay there again. Loved it!”
