Must come stay!!! A perfect night under the stars.
First of all Carolyn & Bernie were so sweet and helpful. From the minute we parked she met us and gave us a tour of the place. She also massaged the day before our trip to ask if I had any plans or needs & had firewood prepared for us since I said I wanted to have a campfire(saved me a trip of trying to find somewhere to buy firewood)
The location was amazing! For my sister’s birthday I rented her a spot and we had our family of 12 come out here for the night to visit her. So many of them wanted to stay the night also after seeing the location. There’s some small hiking you can do with the frisbee golf and the communal bathrooms were super clean and cutely designed. We had dinner out here & snores and got to star gaze on their star gazing platform & see the sunset. It was such a great time definitely family friendly. They also have adorable dogs who are super friendly and specifically Milo who loves the campfire was so much fun. Some of the other campers there had brought their dogs and it seemed like they were all getting along.
We were so happy to get to experience it and even more impressed to see how sustainable this nonprofit was being run & Carolyn is an absolute gem. She helped us with so much more then we were expecting and had a great attitude about helping us out the whole time. We definitely want to come back soon! (in summer when it’s a bit warmer than the 45 degrees in April haha)
