“It was very nice. Had a reservation , walked in showed reservation number and wad headed to room in about 7 minutes. Only thing I did not like was asked for a 50 dollar room deposit, refundable at check out. I had no prior notice or knowledge , just spring on me at check in. I paid for room in full way in advance, so I'm thinking everything is paid when asked for security deposit. ”
“We arrived late in the evening, close to 10 pm. Front desk staff was great and helpful in locating a place open for a bite to eat. Very nice hotel. Clean and quiet. Would recommend highly”
“I dislike that I was unaware that there would be a $400 hold even though the rooms were paid for in full. I don't think this is a fault on chateau elan it is on Expedia for not making their customers aware of any potential holds there may be once you get to the property.”

“This location was perfect for us. Easy on and off the highway. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The air smelled fresh but the scent in the lobby trigered my allergies. May I suggest you tone it down?”
“I don’t recall for all the years I’ve been staying in hotels that everything was to my liking. Best experience this far. One very odd thing though ,the restaurant/ bar was close on a Sunday evening please fix it. 4.5 stars because of that one discrepancy. Was out all day decided to take a nap woke up for a light dinner and there was none. The staff was perfect , very helpful and sociable .”
“Property was lacking in terms of upkeep and cleanliness. Elevator was broken and there was a dead roach on the desk of the room. When I informed the front desk staffer he was courteous but said there was nothing he could do regarding a partial refund because I booked thru Expedia. Definitely would not stay here again. ”
