We stayed here because our usual hotel was full. This hotel is equally convenient and the staff were extremely friendly. I give it fewer stars because, although newer than our preferred hotel, it is already looking a bit “overused”. In addition, it was not overly clean. There was pink mildew all over the shower and the common spaces were not all that clean either.

Stayed on a Saturday night to enjoy the bar and let my daughter swim. There was never a bartender there, so bar never did open. We had to ask for towels by the pool 3x as there was never any. The pull out couch for my daughter had no sheets and none in the room.

This Best Western is Very Nice, enjoyable stay.
Enjoyed my stay, the front desk was very helpful when I needed a hairdryer. I Always enjoy my stay there, when I am in KC. It’s nice they have a bar for the weekends. Breakfast is decent & tasty.

I made reservations. Went in and the system was down. They couldn't do anything. Made us wait for an hour in the lobby. The on duty general manager did not pick up the phone to help the gentlemen at the front desk. When he finally did. He was no help. Never again

Beautiful hotel for a reasonable price
This hotel is gorgeous, starting from the minute you walk in the doors. The lobby is impressive, as well as the elegant lighting and signage throughout. The King room was spacious & comfortable. I LOVED the shower. There was plenty of hot water & great water pressure. Plus it had a regular shower head, a rainfall overhead and a handheld. Also, the staff was top notch. Johnny, the manager, asked every time he saw me how our stay was going & if we needed anything. The fitness room was SUPER hot & Tristen tried to adjust the temperature, offered me water & brought me a fan. The service and attention were top notch. We will be back.

Our bathroom light above the tub did not work and the Manager was quick to change our room for us. I do have one hugh complaint on bathroon lighting. There isnt enough. The lighting is very very poor for women trying to apply makeup, and styling their hair. It needs to be way brighter. Men who use a razor to shave also need brighter lighting.

Had a minor cleanliness issue in my room; when I reported it to front desk, they immediately found me a different room and it was a smooth process. Very good customer service.

They said they could not find the booking and I had to pay for the room a second time. Did not feel like this was a 3 star hotel at all. It felt like it was very iffy part of town.

The property was located near a retail area with plenty of restaurant options. It seemed lik a new hotel. The check-in was rough. We had to try 3 rooms before getting into the right room but the front desk person was trying. Area near the elevator smelled funky and elevator also smelled dirty. All the mirrors in the place have a heavy film. Shower drain was fungusy. Thermostat was not connected to the window unit. Room was either hot or cold. I wouldn't stay here again.

Amazing stay at Best Western. Zayn the front desk manager was always available and great positive energy. Hannah the head of guest services was great and personable. Belinda in charge of the breakfast was also always attentive and on it. Super clean rooms, pool and common areas where always well kept and the rooms are practically brand new and of great size. Fridge, microwave, and all the basics for a longer stay. Great energy from the staff who made it feel more like a bread and breakfast. Great team work made it a great stay and the newness and price where well worth a 1 week stay.

This is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at in a long time. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic! The multiple shower heads were great. Super super clean and modern. Will definitely stay here again!

It reminded why I do not stay at Best Westerns...
They definitely fool you with the "Premier" label. I was reminded that when the baseline is very low "premier" has a different meaning than we think. I have been on a 10-day cross-country road trip and this is the first hotel I regretted staying at. I forgot to book two nights and it is a total blessing this place is sold out for our second night and we had to find a new place for tonight! It is not worth going through the list from check-in to leaving of items that have so missed the mark. I am simply going to say there is nothing about this hotel that was good. It is possible to have mid-level hotel and have it be on point and I have had the pleasure of staying at some on this trip - this is not one of them.

Not terrible, but could be better
The hotel itself was nice. Safe, quiet location. The breakfast selection was unmatched! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we walked into our room and it smelled so bad. The toilet was backed up and had been for some time. They quickly moved us to a new room, but unfortunately that one did not have a microwave and the fridge was on its last leg. For the price, the room left something to be desired. The pool doesn't open until 10 am, which isn't great for kids who get up early and check out being 11 it was a rush to get in some pool time (the main reason we booked this hotel) and geg changed and checked out on time. We also were not able to open the pool ourselves and had to ask to be let in every morning

There was some black stuff up in the corner ceiling in the bathroom that appeared to be mold, I’m not quite sure what it was. I told the desk attendant about it when we checked out. We were only there one night and I didn’t notice it till the morning before check out. Everything else about the hotel staff and location was great.

I checked in and my room smelled really bad. Christine the housekeeper helped me get a new—non smelly room. No questions. The manager at desk was very accommodating also. So grateful. They deserve raises. Especially since the rooms were all booked up that night!
