Didn't stay due to location & incorrect accuracy of listing.
We had a group of 4 that planned on staying here, group was myself,my husband,a friend&her husband. Our group is aged 50&up.We came from St Louis,drove directly to condo.Dir took us thru worst area of KC only to find out this unit is loc within several blocks of this seedy area.I had asked for checkin info which the unit owner said she would provide 1 hour prior to checkin~we recd that 3 MIN prior to checkin.We had several hours to spare & grab lunch so we drove out of this area & found a nice place to eat.While there we asked several ppl about the address that we were to stay at.They all said get out immediately&stay elsewhere.When the owner finally gave me entry instr,it said that we had 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit & that we were to use ST parking. My hubby has hip/knee injuries&doesn’t do steps,no matter how many.Our friend is recovering from a knee replacement & doesn’t do steps either.As I told the owner in a prior msg,the area around the condo was not what I would call secure either.There was NO ST parking when we drove by at 3pm nor was there parking when we drove by at 5:20pm either.Leaving my brand new car down the ST in what I consider a not safe area wasn’t going to happen.She mentioned that the parking lot behind the condo was secure,but it still had trash laying around & again,there were people hanging out in that “secure parking lot” that I do not feel belonged there.Her listing said nothing about upper unit w/stairs or ST parking!REFUND REQUESTED!!!

Did not like: Smoky smell, half roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms, 1 towel/washcloth per person, no hand towel, no paper towels, dish & clothes detergent, light bulb out in both bathrooms making it dark to do makeup, dirty walls, no matress pads, shower rod fell down on child in shower cause it was rigged, tv lighting strip hanging down looks janky, couch very uncomfortable, dishes not clean, had to use body weight to open/close door to first bedroom, holes in wall were unbecoming, and hot water ran out with 3 of us showering. I had asked host what i might need to bring and that was never acknowledged. We had to go out the next day and buy toilet paper and other things we needed. Was not what we were hoping for at all.

Great KC location
This was a very spacious and well decorated property. The location is well centered to local activities and in a very clean neighborhood. The host was very prompt and informative.

Very Disappointed with the Property Manager/Owner
While I realize that problems will occur, how someone responds to issues separates great customer service from mediocre service. My wife and I had booked this unit several months in advance to attend a family wedding. While we were driving from STL to KC on the day of checkin I just happened to look a my phone to see if an early check-in was approved. I was quite surprised to find that my booking for Sat night was cancelled due to a lack of utilities caused by local construction. Keep in mind we're about an hour outside of KC on the day of check-in and now faced without any accommodations for Saturday night and no guarantee that it would be available on Sunday. Again, the loss of utilities was not the owner's fault. Her follow up to our dilemma was terrible. I understand that the preferred method of communication is through the VRBO app but this situation involved extenuating circumstances that should have been handled in a phone call. The owner did not offer up any suggestions and refused to call me. What I was looking for was a call from her saying " I'm sorry that we have to canx the booking but I have found you a comparable alternative...." That did not happen and I was left scrambling to find my own alternative on a holiday weekend while sitting at a roadside gas station. I'm not an unreasonable person but hiding behind an App when direct contact was required is not what customer service is about. By the way VRBO was equally unhelpful during all of of this as well!

Great Place to Stay
This location was perfect for what we needed. We were staying the night for a Wine Walk at the KC Zoo. The space worked well for us, the beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms for 5 women was such a plus. The cute little kitchen was great for having snack and drinks before we went out and then for having coffee and breakfast in the morning. The place was clean and quite and had great view of a little park from the living room. I would stay here again and totally recommend it to anyone going out with friends or a couples getaway.

Great location
We stayed one night here and it was great. Great location. I'm not convinced the floors were swept well before we arrived as there was some dirt and things on the floor when we first walked in but everything else was clean. The host communicated check in procedures very well which I appreciated.

Wedding accommodations
We booked this property to attend and family wedding to be close to the reception/dinner/dance venue in Power and Light District (which was 2.5 miles away/11 minutes by car). The property is as pictured. The bedrooms were good sized. Whole place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay in KC!
We stayed for 3 nights and all enjoyed our stay. I was in town with my family of 5 and we were comfortable in this property. It was clean and the location is great. Plenty of amenities nearby. My only concern was the parking situation. The complex is on a very busy street with steady traffic traveling at about 35-45 MPH. There is a gated parking lot in the rear but we were never given access to the lot. We were given a fob that was supposed to open the gate but it did not work. I was told the gate was broken but on multiple occasions I saw other tennats open and drive throught the gate. The manager of the listing did indicate that maintenance was working on the gate and that it would hopefully be available soon. Frustrating watching other people open the gate and not be able to myself. We made it work, it just wasn't fun trying to jump into the driver's side of the vehicle as cars were flying by. She also stated that she would be providing a key card to enter the vestibule entrance on day after our arrival but we never received this. I checked the lockbox multiple times each day and nothing ever arrived. This was not a major issue because we had a code to enter. Sounds like this was also an issue with maintenance. My only other complaint was a barking dog in a neighboring unit. The dog would bark for 10-15 minutes periodically but it wasn't at night and didn't keep anyone awake. Overall, the condo/apartment served it's purpose and was enjoyable.
