Hotel a Kemble

“The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

I had specifically booked a room at this location for a night away with my children, as well as to meet friends. A key reason for choosing your property was the advertised amenities, including a pool, exercise room, and breakfast. Unfortunately, upon arrival after a three-hour drive, we encountered multiple serious issues that were not acceptable...

“Property is messy. (Renovations?) Check in was slow. Our room was clean but had strange smell. Beds were comfortable. Sleep interrupted by noisy neighbors twice.”

“You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake. “We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

“Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!”
