“Excellent location, quiet, but close to the ferry and restaurants. Very clean and nicely equipped room with a balcony overlooking the bay. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable and safe place to spend a couple of nights in Tobermory.”

“The location of Lions Beach Motel is hard to beat. It was close to everything we wanted to explore, and getting around was quick and easy. The room was clean, and Rohit was a super helpful host who was always available if we needed anything. My only suggestion would be to add air conditioning. We visited during 30°C+ weather, and the room got quite warm. we were sleepless through the night although we were provided with extra fans when asked for. “Property smelled musky and was Not very clean. towel rod pulled off the wall when placing a towel to ret on it. You could see the rod was installed several times incorrectly. The employees had a camp fire out back and left food and garbage all around to attract bears and Racoons. Only had sheer curtains that would allow anyone to look into the property at night. The front staff had an attitude. It was expensive for what you get. Will NEVER be back to rent here”

“I needed a no-frills place to sleep so I could pick up campers at Camp Celtic. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough, the air conditioning worked really awesome, and there was a fridge, microwave, and Kettle. The cupboard stored extra pillows and a blanket. “I was only there for approximately 10 hours as I just needed a place to rest my head and get freshened up before another day of travel but this place was 10/10. I arrived late, however I had zero problem finding my cabin or the shared restroom. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe. Sad I didn’t see any animals but I arrived late and left early in the morning - my fault! I’d definitely go back here, I’ve been recommending this place to a lot of people already.”

“The owners and staff are very rude. They followed me to my room and kicked me out when I had friends staying at an another cottage rental down the street. They assumed they were staying with us not hearing us out saying they aren’t saying and kicked us out. It is so dirty not modern at all. I will never book there again.”
