The outdoors is as much a draw as the indoors in this unique home. Beauty abounds everywhere you look with mature exotic bamboo bordering the perimeter and lush tropical plants throughout offering total privacy in the outdoor living spaces. A spectacular deck off the kitchen and master bedroom is equipped with comfortable outdoor seating for six, two lounges, and an outdoor fire chat table perfect for enjoying evening cocktails or al fresco meals. During the day, relax in the private pool, and at night, enjoy the bubbling Jacuzzi hot tub. (You have the option to heat the pool.) This home truly encompasses what it means to live the outdoor beach lifestyle.

Bright and cheerful with natural sunlight streaming through the windows and hardwood floors throughout, this recently remodeled house offers an upbeat beach decor with seashore-themed accents and a modern edge that will lift your spirits. As you enter the front door and walk into the cozy combined living and dining rooms, you will see a 60-inch TV and plush sofa along with a dining table complete with upholstered chairs. Kick your feet up after a fun day at the beach and relax on the high-end, ultra-comfortable furniture. A fully equipped kitchen with new cabinetry has a gas stove and oven, a side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Enjoy cooking for your family or entertaining friends in this open-concept kitchen and living space.

Wake up in the morning after a tranquil night's sleep in the master retreat, which features a Tempurpedic king bed, hotel-quality linens, a 48-inch TV, and a newly renovated en suite bathroom. Fall asleep to the beautiful gas-burning fireplace crackling in the background as you get a restful night's sleep. The second and third cheerful bedrooms also offer king beds with hotel quality linens and share a full bathroom down a short hall off the living room has a tub/shower and soothing ocean hues. A laundry room with outside access has a washer/dryer for your convenience.

Anything and everything you would want to see and do is minutes away. It is a short walk to the world-famous Windansea Beach and minutes by car to the shops and galleries of downtown La Jolla. Try the local restaurants and coffee shops as you stroll up and down the historic streets.

- This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
1 day notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 80 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Rough stay
1. Door knob broke off at arrival. 2. Repairmen came and partially fixed the door(backwards) so did not work properly entire visit. 3. There was a chirping noise coming from bedroom fireplace, repairman removed batteries for a quick fix of noise. 4. Heater did not work entire visit. Repairmen came and said it needed a specialist. Temps were 61 degrees in the rooms without space heaters. 5. We were given two space heaters to heat the house. No one ever returned to fix the fireplace or heater. We stayed 6 days/5 nights. 6. I asked to heat the pool for a portion of my stay. Was told all 6 days or nothing. 7. Cockroaches were seen 4 times of my stay. 8. I do not feel this home was worth the amount I paid, it needs serious maintenance done to bring it up to standards.

Good choice in La Jolla
This was a nice house to stay for a few days while visiting San Diego. The backyard is nice however those pretty flowers you see in the pics are airbrushed in. The pool looked a tad tired and so did the outdoor furniture. The pool was warm and I didn’t request it be heated. The interior was nice. The master bath was the nicest. The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and this house is very private. It’s nice to not have cameras everywhere & I didn’t notice any here. A big negative is La Jolla is a pain to get in & out of. You’ll need 20 minutes to get to most other places around SD because of this.

Great house for 6 people not 8
Communication was the worse! Tried to find out how house slept 8 but never answered our questions. Check in with ease but not enough towels( bath or pool) for 8 people. It took 2 calls and three face to face visits and 3 days to get towels. Thank you Mike!

Worst experience I could have had
I’m not quick to throw judgement but this property is not as advertised and was the worst experience I’ve had with a home sharing service. While the house is nice and in a good location, my family and I experienced a multitude of issues. The home is advertised to include a ‘private heated pool’, however, looking further into the details you will be paying a daily fee for the heating function to be turned on. I called a week prior to arriving and was told the nightly fee would be $80 rather than the $50 stated in the listing description. I fought the price and it was adjusted to match the advertisement. I then payed an upfront fee of $250 in order to have a heated pool only to arrive and find it hadn’t been turned on. For 3 days I called guest services requesting they turn it on before a resolution was finally met and required another 24 hours to warm up. There’s a man living above the garage! The property features an unattached garage backing up to the hot tub. We noticed a door on the backside of the garage and assumed it may be a storage area; seeing as how it looked like a rundown dump. Imagine our shock when we discover a man living in said “dump” above the garage with his door facing directly into the hot tub. In addition, he kept his back door open and was able to look into the hot tub as much as he pleased. So much for PRIVATE. This man also has access to the rest of the property and from what we can tell, shares the laundry room conveniently located by the hot-tub. That night we walked down the street to dinner, only to return and have this man watching us from the unlit side of the garage. Not knowing what to think, we contacted guest services immediately and explained the uncomfortable situation. We felt unsafe and were truly considering finding a hotel to move to. Guest services were unable to verify who the man was at the time and stated they would call me back. No return call was placed. With no return call, we reluctantly made it through that first night. The next day I called and complained about the situation to which they confirmed the man was a ‘friend of the owner’. The pool was filthy although we arrived on a Thursday which is supposedly the cleaning day. The dishes were gross with staines.

La Jolla Stay
Great location and it was nice have 3 bedrooms all with king beds. However DO NOT get fooled by the pictures. Pictures were taken years ago! Front yard smelled like dog pee, inside furniture was dirty, no dressers in bedrooms, found dog food pieces in one of the bedrooms, back yard furniture was in rough shape, only 2 lounge chairs, hot tub and pool were dirty. The hot tub was green inside. Be careful if booking this property!

Great House poor management
Found our house easily. We were given the wrong door code 8 times on the phone, so finally a great guy showed up after an hour and let us in. Day three my phone blew up and woke me up at 930pm after a Long beach day. Management company was inquiring about a so-called package that was delivered mistakenly that was meant for the previous guest. At the same time the previous guest was knocking at our outdoor gate to confront us about this missing package. Paid extra for the pool heat, which was a complete waste because it was never turned on. I own a pool myself, so I know. One bedroom had several flat sheets covering up the first dirty one. Mattress base covers in all rooms were not washed between us and the last guest or guests. Bottom line for home share is this is a great house in a great location, but management companies manage these properties like they make 15% not like actual home owners that make 100% of the guest fee.

Great amenities and location
This property is ideally located in La Jolla and has lovey outdoor spaces. We had four adults staying there and it was very comfortable. We did utilize the kitchen quite a bit and felt that it had most of what we needed.
