“It was neat to stay in a historic property. In a Quality Inn or Comfort Inn style hotel, the thick carpeting would have been suspicious regarding cleanliness, but it was nice here. I would have liked to see formal photos and a description display about this property, like in a museum.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Le Fevre Inn. Not only was it quiet, quaint, and welcoming, the staff were amazing. The wood burning fire place was PERFECT for our stay, especially as the temps were below 0. The bed was comfortable and the huge jetted tub was fantastic. The view was incredible and i wish it had been warm enough outside to enjoy it more. Due to the intense cold, our vehicle wouldn't start when we went to check out. “The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...

“Nice room for a budget motel. Microwave and (2)!? working fridges. Breakfast is minimal, but coffee and a banana was fine for me. ”

“As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...
