Comfy Lake Harmony Retreat Near Skiing, Swimming, Jim Thorpe, 5 BR, Fireplace

Relax in our comfy 5 bedroom retreat in Lake Harmony. Ski Big Boulder Mountain, swim at the Boulder Lake Club, enjoy all that the Poconos has to offer!

Nicely furnished townhome with bar and pool table in finished basement. Deck has a grille for barbecuing and there is a porch that overlooks the tennis courts. We provide complimentary passes to the Boulder Lake Clubhouse which includes swimming pool and beach lake. The passes also allow you to use the tennis courts. There is a beautiful gas fireplace on main floor with modern decor and furniture.

On the main floor there is the primary bedroom with a queen sized bed and private bathroom featuring a shower and soaking tub.
The upper level has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with 2 twin sized bunk beds.
The lower level also features 2 bedrooms, one has a queen sized bed and the other has 2 twin sized beds.

For guest and home safety we have installed a video doorbell on the front door. There is no other video/audio surveillance on the home.

There is a strict no pets rule for the sake of our guests who have allergies. If it is discovered that you have brought a pet, your entire security deposit will be forfeited.

We do not have a hot tub. Please do not use our neighbors hot tub. We have had multiple issues with this and unfortunately your entire security deposit will be forfeited if you use the hot tub so that we can pay to have it cleaned.

This is a non-smoking/vaping house, if it is discovered that someone is smoking/vaping your entire security deposit will be forfeited.

Family weekend
We loved the house. It was perfect for our group. We went to visit family near by, the location and facilities at the home were perfect. The teenagers enjoyed the pool table and we definitely enjoyed the cozy feel of the home. Pictures do not do justice to the home. It is so much more spacious and comfortable then we thought for the group we had (14). Thank you to Al for assisting and for having us.

Beautiful condo
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, comfortable condo. The rooms are large and airy and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was plenty big enough for making our dinners and breakfast. We had a gorgeous view of the ski mountain. We were able to snowboard and ski that weekend. It was a great time for all.

New Years Getaway
The place is gorgeous. We loved the fact we could be together for the holidays and not worry about traffic and who is bringing what or who needs to go to the store for anything. Everyone enjoyed their time there. Amazon Fire TV's everywhere for everyone to have their choice of what to watch if needed. Pool table in the basement to enjoy as well. Always a fun family game. Washer/Dryer was there for our need although I don't think we utilized it BUT, better to have and not need than to need and not have I always say. I want to thank Al and Vince for allowing us to use their home. It was an amazing weekend and hopefully they would allow us to go back if need be.

Wonderful Holiday Getaway with Family
The house was exactly as advertised, with extra attention to detail for the Holiday's with decorations around the house. My daughter especially loved that the owners left a Christmas tree up! I corresponded with one of the owner's, Al, who couldn't have been nicer. He called months in advance to ensure we had the opportunity to ask questions to make our stay more enjoyable. The house is a 1min drive from the Big Boulder Ski resort, which our family took advantage of. Also nearby are plenty of good places to eat (I recommend Nick's on the Lake & Shenanigans, both are great). This location is perfect since it is nearby both Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and Split Rock. We are looking forward to booking a 2nd trip!
