Perfect!
Had a small group of ski racers for a mid-week event at Stevens Pass ski area. Perfect location, 25 min to the area, close to a few good restaurants and a grocery store. Place had everything we needed to cook, store equipment and relax. The down stairs "rec room" definitely put it over the top. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful cold weekend
I have stayed at this house at least 4 times and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s clean, roomy and beautiful. We had a wonderful, but chilly weekend!

Wonderful!
We enjoyed a lovely stay in this cabin in early January. The neighborhood is an easy walk into Plain for groceries, rentals, cafe . . . The cabin is absolutely lovely. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. I loved reading in the chairs upstairs in the loft with the view. My husband enjoyed sitting by the fire and cooking in the spacious kitchen. My boys enjoyed having their own rooms and the enormous TV in the basement where we enjoyed a movie each night after spending some time in the hot tub and looking at the stars. We’ve been to Plain several times and stayed in a different cabin each time. This was our favorite. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Less bugs due to great open field location
I know the area so intentionally picked this location 5 minutes from Lake Wenatchee, a few minutes away from Plain convenience stores, and a scenic 20-minute drive from Leavenworth. Unlike other available houses in the woods or on top of each other, this one is set in a field with wide views, great stargazing, less bugs, and the neighboring houses, although fully visible are a good distance away. The house was attractive, functional, and very clean, including the hot tub. Not that we cared, the deck was worn but fine. It would have been helpful if there were instructions regarding the climate control, lighting, speakers, and televisions.

Beautiful house and scenery
Overall the property was amazing. We had several feet of snow and our kids loved playing in it. The views were spectacular. We had one issue that was easily resolved with the property management company. Everything else I am writing is FYI for any possible future renters to just have a heads up. We had our dog with us and cleaned up after our own pet. Unfortunately, there were stray dogs running around that would come by and leave their messes daily. I communicated with the rental company and they assured me we would not be charged for something that was out of our control. The vrbo listing was inaccurate for some amenities that were not at the property. There was not an Xbox, train set and the second TV upstairs was missing. The main space heater downstairs didn't work properly, if we turned it on it would start beeping. There was only one hair dryer for three bathrooms. The water did have a surfer smell on occasion, which was explained might be an issue for some, we drank the filtered water from the refrigerator and it was fine. The kitchen had standard appliances and dishes, and basic seasonings, just make sure to bring your own salt and pepper, foil, saran wrap and leftover containers. The beds were firm but not uncomfortable. Noise ordinance rules were very strict, no noise or hot tub usage between 10pm and 8am. 4x4 definitely recommended in winter months. The only real downside was that the 10am check out was difficult with kids, due to the check out requirements. We loved our stay and created many memories as a family.

Not ready for rental.
Overall house is okay, if you can get past the odor coming from the first floor. There is a portion of the floor cut out and open to dirt and sewer lines with standing water. I was shocked.

Karla, Thank you SO very much for sharing your feedback. As per our private conversations about what occurred during your stay, this was a quick fix as soon as we were made aware of it. Had we known during your visit this had occurred it could have been resolved more timely. This was a one off maintenance situation and not the norm at all. The "sump pump" in the floor of the lower level in the back corner by the W/D you are referring to is actually a common practice if the lower level is below grade for the septic lines and needs to be pumped up into the system. The "block" that occurred during your stay causing the water to stand, as aforementioned was rectified in 10 minutes once maintenance arrived to assess. Your communication after the fact was appreciated but again, unless something is reported to us immediately we cannot make your stay more comfortable unless notified AND we most certainly would have as that is our #1 endeavor to ensure our guests have a truly "comfy" visit. All feedback from our guests is taken to heart and does not fall on deaf ears, so again, we thank you for taking the time to write your review. Best, NW Comfy Cabins

This was a great property to stay at. Clean and quiet.
Easy check in and out process. Very clean and well supplied. Conveniently close to everything. We had a deer that was there every day. I think it was her favorite spot.

The house seems nice yet The maintenance of the property is not well performed. Hot tub was not functioning and they told us last minute before arriving to the property, it seemed to us that it never functioned at all. We were not able to put The Fire place on and they were not available instructions. I have been to other properties in the area for the same or less price and this property in my opinion is not worth it. Quiet and nice neighborhood.

We are so sorry that you did not have a good experience during your visit. We have reached out to all our guests about the hot tub not working at this property, as soon as possible. We are currently waiting for the new tub to be delivered. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we are having to wait longer than expected. All of our tubs are inspected and serviced before and after every visit. Even though we do not guarantee our amenities, we did issue a 10% refund off of the nightly rent for the disappointment. We always hope our guest enjoy themselves despite any issue that may arise and we do all that we can to ensure a enjoyable experience.

Family summer adventure
Our family had such a wonderful time at Peterson Acres cabin! The kitchen has everything you need to cook up some delicious meals! Plus coffee maker! We made s’mores out on the deck, grilled up some steak, and the kiddos had fun on the swing! Bedrooms were nice and comfortable! Upstairs loft has a beautiful view! The house has AC! Just about a 20 min drive to Leavenworth!

Unfortunately, wild fire smoke clouded our outside activities, but luckily we were able to enjoy the inside of the home quite a bit. Lots of space and matched description well. Bring extra towels because we used a lot between the hot tub and showers.

We had an amazing time!
The house is remotely located quietly a bit far from Leavenworth except for the Lake Wenatchee. We really enjoyed our time here except that the hot tub didn't warm up after the first day. Wish the TV was located on the main floor. Overall, the point of this trip is to get away from the city and enjoy what PNW has to offer. I would definetely come back here again !

Awesome House! Tranquil and Relaxing
We had an awesome time on our family trip this weekend! About 20 mins from downtown Leavenworth, this house was great for a getaway. The first night, the sky was crystal clear and lit up with millions of stars. The remoteness of the property is perfect for peace and quiet. If you want to disconnect from ‘everyday life’ this property will do it. The only complaints I would give are there were some dishes in the cabinets that were put away dirty and the umbrella outside at the picnic table was broken...that was really about it- .I really had to find things to nit-pick, because this place was great!

Good getaway with friends
This house was very clean and nicely put together. It has great views of the mountains. It’s more of a house that you get for a very laid back weekend. I wish it was more clear on how far away it was from Leavenworth. The first night we got there and the hot tub was so cold we couldn’t even use it and then the second night it was way too hot to use. The house doesn’t have much around it to do so you definitely have to bring your own fun. But overall it was a nice getaway.

Incredible star filled skies!
We genuinely loved our stay here. I wish there was a physical guest book because I love reading through other comments while enjoying a morning coffee. This place was absolutely lovely. The lower floor was delightfully cool! There were three of us and we played board games all weekend long and by 9:pm we were on the deck with telescopes and camera's to capture absolutely exquisite views of the milky way. Thank you for sharing your lovely get a away cabin!

Great house!
New house for us this year (14th Girl’s weekend trip to Leavenworth.) The house was comfortable , clean and suited our needs perfectly. The gas fireplace helped create a cozy environment as the weather was colder than expected when we visited. We will definitely consider staying there again next year.

Pictures are deceiving
Property and house was smaller than in the pictures, all closets and doors were locked. We stayed 5 days and had no where to put clothes. Says hill for sledding there’s no hill. Neighbors are grumpy and don’t like noise from kids playing. House is falling apart blinds broke tiles cracked, middle of the night the dowels holding the shelve up broke, holding plates in the kitchen all the plates broke on the floor no broom or dust pan nothing to clean with, called the property people they said it’s a on going problem and not to worry. So obviously they have shelves fall all the time so watch your littles in the kitchen. House is inconsistent with heat none of the floors the same tempature freezing on bottom floor super hot main and sweating hot in master. And bugs EVERYWHERE killed 50 plus pine beetles in our bed or walls

Clean, all the amenities, beautiful scenery.
We really enjoyed our stay. This is a well appointed home with lots of space for our group of 8. Our only complaint was that it was hard to regulate the temperature throughout the house. The basement level was often very cold while the rest of the house was quite warm. We loved the heated floors. Decor is warm and cozy and up to date. We had the added bonus of snow, which made our trip all the more lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice place, frustrating process to get there
As a heads up to future travelers renting this house through home away, you will have to sign a contract through NW comfy homes which is very restrictive, more than advertised here. In addition guests more than 6 will be charged a higher fee. Lastly there was a $1k deposit which is unnecessary. I learned all this the hard way. Overall the house was great. We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 6 to stay for a wedding in Leavenworth. It was a great location and very clean. However all the additional surprises by the management company were frustrating. When I spoke with the management company they said it was home away mid-representing their management company. I don’t know the truth, all I know is it was frustrating and I felt nickled and dimed. Once we got there though the management company did a great job managing the experience. I enjoyed the house but would probably not rent again due to all these headaches.

We enjoyed having you all and are thrilled you were able to experience our beautiful area. I did want to clarify, that It is true that when booking through a 3rd party site such as Homeaway/Airbnb, etc... a service fee to use their site is charged to the traveler. This fee is charged by their company directly and is not associated with ours in any way. Booking through their site specifically, and not booking through our organic site, you were charged an additional HomeAway/vrbo Traveler Fee of 134.00. Again, this fee has nothing to do with NW Comfy Cabins and we do not recieve this money from HA/VRBO they are strictly an advertising site that has expanded their efforts into the "booking" portion of the private vacation rental industry and so we are very aware there is a "gray" area that is very confusing to the consumer and we apologize for that but it is out of our control. Regarding the $1,000 deposit, we no longer offer that option to our guests, and I see you opted out of that option anyway so you were never charged for that...if you are seeing something the otherwise please let us know immediately. Thank you again for your time, and candor, and we do hope this explanation sheds a bit of light on the "new" world of privately managed vacation rentals and the larger corporations role they are now playing in it.
