Extremely Famtsstic Locafion
I stayed for a month and am so glad I chose this spot. It’s perfect because it’s one block to the sand and about a block to St Armand’s circle. You’re right in the center of paradise and parking is extremely easy and comvenient. Before I booked, I was worried about staying here because the interior decor wasn’t my style at all, but I just made a trip to Target when I arrived. I covered the sofa, bought a cute lamp, got some new kitchen chairs, bedding, towels, shower curtain, a nice big rug and made it look super cute. When I was done, I gave it all to a friend who lives nearby. It was worth it to me because I don’t think I could have been happy with the decor, but redecorating it made it the most perfect stay because of the location. The cost of this place was much lower than neighboring properties so redecorating brought the cost up for me to what I would have paid somewhere else, but I got to literally be right in the center of everything I love about Sarasota. This place is also right on a canal and has a private dock. Loved it!

Lido Beach
The location is amazing. 1 Block to the beach and 1 block to St. Armands Circle with all the shopping and restaurants you could ask for. The property is old, could use some furniture updating and also some flowers in the pots to make it a little bit more pleasing to the eye. Overall the location sells it. I would come back again.

Location, Location, Location
The property is small but has all the necessities. The location couldn't be better. It's a SHORT walk to Lido Beach, and to St. Armand's Circle. The exterior could be cleaned up a bit. The patio had broken pots and plantings in the pots were in need of attention. However we hope to return.

Location was Key
The little place is ideal for shopping and walking to restaurants, bars, and of course the beach! Location couldn’t have been better, but we were kept up some at night due to traffic noise. It is Old Florida style for sure, and it could use a little TLC (paper plates covering vents, broken toilet tank cover, door locks, and landscaping etc…) but for the price it’s well worth it. We enjoyed our stay, owners are quick to respond, and are local.

Had a great week!! Close to the beach. Clean lil place works perfect for us. Just one block from the shops an resteraunts on Armands. Or a short drive to all the great places to eat from ami to venice. Love it!!!!!

Prime location
This was the perfect spot on Lido Beach. I couldn't believe how wonderful the price was for where it was located. You can stand on the front step and see the beach access to your left, and St. Armand's to your right. Ernie and Vicki were wonderful hosts - responding the day of to any questions we may have had. The A/C for this unit is in the wall in the kitchen, so the bedroom doesn't get much of the cool air, but there's a box fan in the bedroom closet that we used at night. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.

I liked the convenience of location: walking distance to beach and stores. The property was very clean but the bathroom sink needs to be attached to the wall so it doesn't fall and injure someone.

Overall decent stay
The location is ideal! Right next to the beach and St. Armands circle. The property itself could use some work. It wasn’t terrible but could use some TLC. Also, I have several spider bites. I know being in Florida, there’s bugs. But these are definitely spider bites. Hopefully the owner sees this and sprays soon. Overall, I’d stay again, maybe in another unit though.

Very nice older property.
Not the Ritz Carleton, but if you are looking for a laid back vacation with shopping, dining and the beach within walking distance, this is it.

Does location trump a shabby property?
I’m a single retired guy. Rented late for 4 weeks. The location is super, if noisy. Great king bed. But the place is old and barely held together. Stained terrazzo, rusted out stove trays, no bathroom vent (mold on the shower wall) no BR plugs, tired stained furniture, porch still splashed from exterior paint job. Even after Ernie (very responsive) replaced the kitchenette neon light, it worked only intermittently and unpredictably. The proximity to a great uncrowned beach, restaurants, and two nature area for walks has to be weighed against a sad old interior.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute house! The location a few minutes walk from both the beach & Armand Circle was very convenient. We parked the car and didn’t need it for days! We will definitely be back!!

Great location
I booked the 1 bedroom "C" apartment which was nice but the air conditioning was not cooling in the kitchen window just blowing air. Bedroom that night was at least 80 degrees. I did call Sunday morning and we were moved over to the 2 bedroom for the rest of our stay. This was really nice and cool. 1 king size bed and 2 twin beds. the walk to the beach was more than 2 minutes but a great easy location to the beach! Also, you could walk downtown (the circle) for just about anything you wanted. This was also very nice since traffic is heavy and you have to pay for parking. We would stay again for sure.

Great visit for a great price
We are regulars at Lido beach (living in Tampa Bay). But we thought we'd do something different and instead of going somewhere "new"; go to our "same old spot". Sort of a vaca-stay-cation. We couldn't have been more pleased with the choice. 1 minute to St. Armands and 2 minutes to your feet in the gulf. The unit was not luxurious, but clean, neat, and sufficient. The managers were great and Vicki and Ernie replied almost immediately with any concerns or questions we had. They were most accommodating and we will definitely be back to try one of the other units on this spot.

The pictures do not give this place justice! Overall I was very happy with my experience. You can see the beach access from the patio, and it’s only maybe a minute walk to the beach. We were so happy that we did not have to look all over for parking since it was so close to St Armands. The hosts were great! We had trouble with the sink and they were able to come out and fix it the same day which was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again, or any other rentals they have!

Firstly the home was AMAZING and well kept, very clean!! The beds were actually quite comfortable and everything worked well. If we ever had a problem, Ernie would be there in an instant. The location is amazing. Everything was beautiful. I will 100% be coming back. Thank you!!!!!!

Incredible location for a great price... updates needed.
My family loved the location, and the cozy house. The extra items that were provided (beach toys and chairs, bikes, grills) were great, and less we had to travel with. The patio was a favorite spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and times in between. The Property managers were very available if needed. A few simple updates are needed. New towels, window treatments, beach chairs, fridge with ice maker, a better pull out couch, a cleaned up storage garage and free laundry would be great. Overall, location wins out. We were able to walk to the beach or to the shops and restaurants at St. Armand’s Circle and not have to deal with traffic! We had a wonderful time!!!

Disappointing
This property needs serious renovations and a thorough cleaning. No bugs, but I cannot recommend. Location is great. My worst VRBO experience so far.

Great location but unit needs updating
The property is situated in an ideal location in Lido Key. just across from the beach and a couple minutes walk to the shops and restaurants of the village. The unit, however, badly needs updating. It needs a paint job. Furniture is very old. Bed mattress is uneven. Kitchen cupboard sliding doors were made of pegboard with hooks on the end to slide open and close but were very tight and difficult to move.

Great location
This little bungalow was perfectly located between st.armands circle and lido key beach. All within a short walking distance! We loved being so close to the shopping and restaurants and the beach. Ernie was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Perfect Location
Great deal for the price and you cannot beat the location. Walk out of the cottage and take a right you're in St Armand' Circle in 500 yards, take a left and you're on the Lido Key beach in 500 yards. Bus stop is right out the door. If you're looking to explore St Armands Circle this is a perfect spot

Great location, older property
This place has an amazing location, great accessibility to shops in St. Armand's and the Lido Key public beach. Biggest drawback for us was air conditioning. There is a single, one room air conditioner for the 3 rooms and it took a long time for the bedroom to cool down enough for us to sleep when we got in the first night (but the ceiling fan helped). But it was fine for the rest of our stay. Bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. It was a great place for us to stay.

Great Place. Close to everything!
Stayed over memorial day. Traffic was terrible around Armand's Circle. Lucky for us, we were within walking distance to anything we needed or wanted. In spite of being at the center this place was quite and peaceful. Lots of cute little curious lizards around the yard, woodpecker nest in the tree and Osprey nest nearby. We had a wonderful stay and the place was clean and cool...Air conditioning in this unit worked great.
