Felt like this was a bargain when I booked two years ago, not so much this time. Location I suppose but after paying £87 for a single room which was clean and tidy but could do with a freshen up, it felt slightly overpriced. This comes after paying $100 for two people for one night including a lovely breakfast at a recently refurbished country hotel in the Lakes. I’m sure I read something about a shuttle bus when booking on bookings.com but maybe I misread and there certainly wasn’t one available when I asked, parking is also chargeable now and at £15 for 24hours or overnight for most, it ain’t cheap. Did I mention parking at the lakes hotel was free? Unless it comes up super cheap next time I think I’ll look elsewhere.

Tv didn’t work. Phone didn’t work. Raggedy old carpets. Definitely seen better days. Staff were very nice, though. I’ll go elsewhere next time.

Close to Heathrow to drop off rental car and eventually fly out. With advice from the desk, getting into London city was a breeze. Bus stop outside hotel to train station. Room was quite sufficient with tea/coffee. Food and drinks also good. Good luggage storage for the day as we had a night flight.

It was ok, but there were some hiccups with my booking. I won’t go into the details, but it wasn’t very pleasant and something they did could have had negative consequences. I did love that there were tons of local buses that bring you to Heathrow airport for a fraction of the taxi and Hoppa prices. The hotel price was ok compared to other hotels nearby. They should change the carpets in the bedrooms. Overall, it served its purpose.

We booked a room with two beds. However, they gave us a room with a single king bed. Upon seeing the single bed we objected and requested a room with two beds as we booked. They would not give us another room, insisting that a king (with only one mattress and blanket) is the equivalent of two beds. They said there were no rooms with two beds available and were not apologetic. In addition to the poor attitude towards their guests, the hotel is aged. It is, however, clean and conveniently located close to the airport.

Old building, has a tired look to it but it was a relatively cheap flop in between flights and served my needs well. My room was clean, the mattress comfortable. The insulation between rooms could be better - I could hear the person in the next room urinating during the night.

For a North American traveler, the room and bed was very small. Expect this. But staff was polite. They checked me in early and allowed me to check out a bit late. Breakfast was simple but good. Restaurant was closed at dinner and there is not much around the area for food.

avery poor hotel for the location - room certaimly did not look anyhting like the images on the website. kettle leaked when water was put in it, shower head was broken - sprayed water all over the bathroom when turnedon. very dated furniture and fittings.staff at reception not really interested in complaints. receptionist unable to tell me whether the restaurant would open that night (it didnt!) i found out after booking that this hotel was used to house immigrants until recently - maybe they were still there? on the plus side -- walkable distance to budget rental car station and enarby food places. plenty of other hotels in the area - i would choose somewhere else in future!

Misery at midnight
Arrived at the hotel at midnight following a 12 hour flight from Tokyo only to be told that we could not stay at the hotel (even thought we had a confirmed reservation) as the hotel was CLOSED to the public. No one had notified us of this, and, in fact, we had received a confirmation e-mail from Hotels.com the day before saying we had a room reserved!!!

Not the best
Building is old and tired. Beds small decor poor bed up against window with ledge Wardrobe is so small and literally built into wall no hanging room Bathroom dated and shower hard to operate and soaks bathroom due to positioning in bath Expensive to park and no reduction for part day stays Needs a revamp and updating desperately

I am utterly mad as this hotel cancelled my reservation last minute. My vacation messed up trying to find another hotel. I will not stay at BW again for sure. I will also put review in Trip Advisor and other places.

The hotel is situated near many other Heathrow hotels and for that reason it is very much geared towards travellers - meaning they don't anticipate guests to stay very long. There is not much in the way of restaurants nearby, except a McDonald's which is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is accessible by a short 10-minute bus journey from Heathrow. The rooms are rather dated and there wasn't a microwave though there was tea and coffee facilities. The reception staff at check-in was friendly, though the person at check-out was not. Cleanliness could be better maintained as there appeared to be food service near someone's door in late evening and still there the next morning. It was also unclear whether this hotel was also housing asylum seekers as there did not appear to be a very safe vibe when arriving late in the evening. For what it is though, it is fairly affordable for a London hotel - but it is a Heathrow hotel for a reason, not meant for multiple night stays nor a base to be used if wanting to explore the city.

Rooms were a bit outdated but staff was friendly and was good value for money. Please note there is not a USB port near bed which could create problem if you rely on phone for alarm and don’t have UK adapter.

Good location on the 111 bus route to terminal 2 and 3, with bus stop outside the hotel. Room very dated, no microwave, lack of usb charging ports, air con set too high which you can't change. Had to open the window to cool the room down which meant lots of noise from the busy road and planes lining up to take off. Pretty disgusted by some of the clientele who could do with a good scrub. One of them was sat in the foyer with his bare feet up on the table next to the chair he was sat on. I'd upload a pic if I could. We won't be back.
