Hotel elegante vicino Canary Wharf
Facile da raggiungere, a due passi dalla fermata Poplar vicino a Canary Wharf, stanza confortevole e curata, struttura accogliente, elegante, recentemente ristrutturata. Prezzo molto competitivo. Consigliato.

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 21 al 25 presso questa struttura. Avevamo aspettative forse alte viste le recensioni e le foto e in virtu della classificazione 4 stelle. Pro struttura particolare con potenzialita, personale cortese, in reception, bottiglie d acqua in camera. Contro, albergo in realtà con tanta manutenzione da fare materassi datati con molle in superficie aria condizionata difficilmente regolabile e rumorosa( in continuo si sente acqua scorrere dall impianto), finestre murate con impossibilita di un buon ricambio d aria, colazione scarsa in varieta e qualita, riapprovvigionamento asciugamani o carta igienica a volte da chiedere. La struttura è decentrata ma ben collegata. Pulizia dicreta, per quanto ci sia la moquette. Complessivamente non soddisfatta dato il rapporto qualita prezzo. Dimenticavo burro immerso nell acqua nel buffet della colazione, mai vista una cosa simile

Un soggiorno molto piacevole
L’hotel e’ piccolo ma molto carino e curato. Buona la colazione. Ha la spa ma non abbiamo avuto occasione di usarla. Non e’ in centro ma e’ vicino al treno quindi il trasporto e’ comodo. Se devo trovare qualcosa da migliorare, direi la collocazione del letto per la bambina, che era una brandina di fortuna ai piedi del matrimoniale; in bagno ( che era grande e molto carino) aggiungerei dei ripiani per appoggiare il bagnoschiuma ( li dovevamo posare per terra) e portasciugami e ganci per gli accappatoi per i quali non c’ erano supporti se non un ripiano lontano sia dalla doccia che dal lavandino. In ogni caso lo consiglio, ci tornerei. Molto gentile lo staff. Zuber alla reception davvero cortese e disponibile. Wi-fi funzionante.

albergo situato in un tranquillo quartiere con la fermata metro DLR Poplar a 200mt circa. distante dal centro che si raggiunge facilmente. personale discreto, disponibile e cordiale. Colazione buona ma in classico stile inglese con prevalenza di portate salate (bacon, uova strapazzate, salsicce e fagioli). Camera di media dimensione super tecnologica con la possibilità di comandare le luci anche dal tv. Presenza di accappatoi e prodotti toilette di occitane. promosso a pieni voti. ci torneremo volentieri.

Hotel elegante e personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. La posizione è ottima, 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Poplar della DLR che fornisce un rapido accesso alla zona di Canary Wharf e al resto di Londra. Siamo arrivate molto presto e non c'è stato alcun problema nel lasciare i bagagli fino al rientro in hotel la sera. La struttura è molto curata e la camera decisamente confortevole e pulita. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Lo consiglio e di sicuro ci ritorneremo durante il prossimo viaggio a Londra.

Our 1st impressions of the Hotel was that it was nice and clean and our room was lovely, this changed when we could here a noise that sounded like water running, we called reception to ask if we could change rooms, the lovely lady that did come to the room, said that there was nothing that could be done. So we had to put up with the awful noise all night! When we checked out, we mentioned it again to the guy and asked to speak to a manager and was told that a manager wasn’t available, but would give us a call later that evening, they they never called us back!

Hotel and staf friendly and helpful and service was good. The room is good ant comfy. Breakfast was good. Only 1 thing we didn’t like was the bathroom if you showered the hole bathroom was wet. Great for O2
We only stayed for one night to go to a concert at the O2. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, both when we checked in and when we left. Our room was lovely and clean, and even though we were on the first floor we heard no noise either from outside or within the hotel. We used the tube to get to the O2, and it took about half an hour including the walk to the station, which is only five minutes from the hotel. Even on the return journey it wasn't too bad, once we managed to get into the station.

Would have given 5 stars for the actual hotel as it’s beautiful and tasteful but it is slap in the middle of a dodgy area in Tower Hamlets on a street lined with Palestinian flags! Also we paid £10 each for continental breakfast that had barely any fresh fruit, just a few slices of cheese and loads of basic bread (not artisan) and croissants. We didn’t think it represented good value and frankly let the hotel down based on the quality of other aspects of the hotel. However they refused to provide any sort of refund or reduction on the breakfast cost which is a real shame because we probably would have retuned as an overnight base for our regular visits to Boisdale despite the dodgy area it is in.
