Family Visit
Our LA family & east Coast family got together in one house for a few days.
We liked the house for it's view and for the one floor layout - which was easier for a handicapped family member to get around. There are some steps so beware that it's not entirely "accessible".
Downsides:
- House was not cooled when we arrived and was ~84 F.
- We always rent properties with hot tubs but this is the first one that has charged for heating the hot tub. It wasn't heated when we arrived bc I hadn't paid in advance. Then I learned that I had to message the owner, who apparently lives next door anytime that I wanted to turn the hot tub heat on.
- The jets on the hot tub didn't work, but when I mentioned this, the owner declared that "the hot tub works just fine"
- At one point the owner indicated that he didn't appreciate my tone when I was ini
All in all, the place is a bit dated, although everything worked (except the ice maker door) and we a good time there. However, If I have access to a hot tub, I expect to be able to turn it on and use it when I want to and not deal with a third party every time one of us wants to use it.
