Good morning, Lisa! I apologize about not having cups in our rooms. Per Spark brand it is not required. We do have cups and ice buckets located by our ice machines. I hope everything else was good with your stay and we hope to see you again in the future.

So when I booked this hotel, I feel like I should have been informed that it was under construction.. Dusty, unfinished and smelled like paint.. Which bothered my sons asthma.. The room was renovated but was missing a suitcase stand and the bedding for the pullout sofa.. when we asked for the bedding they gave us one sheet and a blanket that looked like it was dragged throw the parking lot.. The wall paper in the shower was dirty too.. The continental breakfast was terrible. There wasn’t much selection. It was bagels, yogurt and plastic wrapped muffin..

first, the motel was being renovated on the first floor so all the amenities as pictured in the ads were unavailable. They offered a reduction in the bill but there is no way to claim that through Expedia as they had already been paid. Second, there were some sort of bugs in the bed. After the two day stay, on the drive home, I developed over 60 welts from bug bites everywhere my skin was uncovered while sleeping. The hotel said they checked the room, found nothing in the bed where I slept, but exterminated anyway. There was nowhere else I would have got into anything and I was an idiot for not checking when I got there. Lesson Learned. My stay was February 23 & 24, 2024

The property is no longer a sleep inn and the brickwork has been painted white, black and purple. It is undergoing renovation so the grab ang go bfast was bad and the first floor was pretty dusty. However, our room was clean and nice.

Not so good
We stayed here 2 years ago and that is why we rebooked it. Now apparently it is under construction and changing names. We were not privy to this or would have chosen abouther hotel this trip and stayed again after hotel remodeled. Indoor pool (for kids) not open or running due to construction, breakfast was great last time, not even available this time due to construction, but again not told or listed. Came for family trip and had to even change rooms due to no hot water in our room. Not a good experience and no concessions offered to offset.

Renovations can be rough but we are looking forward to a brand new look. We hope you give us another chance in the future.

The place was under construction! The front lobby was a mess the whole first floor. No room to park car in parking lot due to storage container everywhere.

This was a DISASTER AND DANGEROUS! They were “remodeling”. The pool, exercise center and breakfast were NOT even open. There was NO flooring in the lobby and in front of the elevators. One elevator did work. The door was just open. The beds were aweful also. The worker started riveting or something directly under our room at 8 am. When I told the manager , she basically called me a liar! Saying they were just getting there at 9 when we checked out! I have pictures! The ice maker was disgusting, dirty and in a room with no floor and stained walls and even an empty bottle in the corner! It was uninhabitable!

Property under reconstruction without advanced notice which means I had a Motel 6 experience at a premium motel price. I was definitely taken advantage of and should have either been informed and charged an appropriate price. The attempt at breakfast was a joke.

Biggest complaint so far is that they are under renovations, the place is pretty torn up, and we were not made aware of this situation. Guy at the desk who greeted us was friendly and efficient. Breakfast area is under construction so offerings are very limited. We're hearing traffic noise from the interstate and train whistles

Warning
Should have advertised that the bldg was under construction. Pool and spa closed, breakfast was a grab and go, lobby, lounge and hallways were torn up. But yet still paid full price for a room. Felt like walking into the slums. Never go back again

The place was under construction & that wasn’t disclosed prior to booking. We wouldn’t have booked if we’d known the place was going to be in shambles, all of the amenities were unavailable, and there’d be a ton of construction racket.

This will be a very nice place to stay when renovating is done. In the meantime the site should be updated to indicate the pool is closed. More important than that is the disappointing breakfast selections. No milk, no cold cereal, no bread options or bakery made for a less than happy start to the day. In the future -- will be a good choice to stay. Right now-- NO!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room was not ready at 2:30 and we had to wait. No big deal. Will be a great place after the remodeling is complete.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. Always great service and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. Never any complaints! Always my go to place.

Stain in carpet. Otherwise very good. Comfy beds but NOISY box springs! And slamming doors from early departers.

Last Minute Oasis
My stay was not planned. My U-Haul broke down and the Sleep Inn & Suites Shepherdsville Louisville South was the closest hotel. I was blown away at how welcoming the staff was and BREAKFAST: WOW!

The only thing we found wrong was the biscuits at breakfast they were very hard. Plus the juice machine was broken and felt they needed an option for non coffee drinkers

Pros: Awesome staff, check in and out was fast and easy, the room was clean, plenty of towels, in a great location to restaurants and highway access to Louisville. Cons: The beds were a firm spring mattress that sagged a bit in the middle. Behind the TV was dusty and there was drywall dust in the stairwell. Excessive login requests for the internet on all devices (and Chromecast wouldn't connect) but the Internet worked fine when connected. Overall if the beds were upgraded we would stay there again. None of the rest was a deal breaker.

Hotel was clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. It’s had some basic updates in the rooms but not many elsewhere. Slow-close hinges on the doors would make a huge difference; you could hear them slamming loudly all night.

Okay amenities for a high price point
It was just okay. The floor in our room was disgusting and stained, and there were hairs in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and kids enjoyed the pool. The front desk clerk was rarely there, which was frustrating. We had to wait 10 mins to check in when there was no one else around.

We stopped for night at this hotel on our way home from a funeral. The room was clean, large, and the breakfast options the next morning were stellar. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Also, check out Cattleman’s Roadhouse for a meal. Wonderful a good and great service!
