First up, we would like to say how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and how they tried hard to make our stay as pleasant as they could. The building is also interesting and well situated, and reasonably quiet in spite of being close to the hustle and bustle of the medina.
But a few things could (and should) have been better for what was a moderately expensive stay. First up the room - it was big enough, but really dark and frankly somewhat dingy. It was clean enough, but would really benefit from more care in decoration, better bedding, a cleaner bathroom, and much better lighting. The breakfast was also a bit rubbish - just bread and jam, some coffee, juice and a yoghurt. Not awful, but some olive oil or honey or something would cost little but make it much less dry. One last whinge - for a tourist destination the service staff should really be able to talk either reasonable English or French, having some with neither language made it difficult to converse. Overall a good experience, but small improvements from the owners could make it a lot better.
