Lovely weekend spent here. Hosts are very welcoming and made you feel at home Accomodation is close to all attractions of Matlock and Matlock Bath And Rowter Rocks (behind the Druid Inn) ;o)

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thanks for accommodating the Mazda MX-5 10th Anniversary Edition drivers and making us feel so welcome. Fab time!

Fantastic place to stay
We had a lovely stay here. The room had everything you needed Janet was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was very nice. We even got to use the outside gazebo area to sit and drink in the evening. The house is close location to town and well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend a visit.

This is a very comfortable stay the rooms are spotless. The shower was a walk in power shower. The hosts and staff were very friendly. It is in a nice location if you like walking matlock bath was amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommended
Very delightful stay. Janet and John are warm and friendly, the room is cozy and shower is very clean! I love how they decorate the garden, can definitely feel that how they really love their home, highly recommend to stay in the B&B.

Lovely Matlock B&B
The owners couldn't have been more helpful, bed was comfy, room was good, really glad there was a ceiling fan. Breakfast was excellent. And having a fridge in the room, was wonderful.

Warm welcome, comfy stay with tasty breakfast
Such a lovely couple, warm welcome, COVID-safe, superbly comfortable and beautifully cooked tasty breakfast. Helpful local recommendations (and bonus discount) for yummy eats and great microbrewery just a few minutes stumble along the road.

Lovely stay, great hosts and great property
Hosts Janet and John were both excellent. Very friendly, informative and approachable. The room had everything you needed and was very clean. Comfy bed and a ceiling fan which really helped with the hot nights (was 31c when we stayed!). We both had a great sleep for the 2 nights that we stayed. Full English breakfast in the morning was great, it was big enough so that we didn't need lunch throughout the day! Parking is free, onsite, right outside the property. Location is less than 10 minutes to the central park. Would highly recommend it to anyone

Great 2 night stay.
This is an amazing place to stay, Janet and John could not have been anymore friendly or helpful than they were. Recommend to everyone and would Defo stay there again

Excellent B&B with a very friendly host
Modern, comfortable and clean room with a very friendly host and a good breakfast. Exactly what we needed for the night before a wedding nearby. Local pub and restaurants are within short walking distance.

We were very happy with our choice of accommodation for our recent stay in Matlock. John and Janet were perfect hosts, the location was excellent and our room and breakfasts were perfect.

Wonderful
I can't recommend Castle Green highly enough. The accommodation itself, the location in beautiful Derbyshire, but above all, Janet and John. They were exceptionally kind at a very difficult time, and I can't stress how much I appreciated their care and thoughtfulness.

Nice B&B close to the town centre.
Good B&B, comfortable and clean rooms with tea making facilities. Nice breakfast with a variety of freshly cooked food. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good location for tourist attractions and ten minute walk to town centre. We had a lovely short break.

Perfect B&B in Matlock
Absolutely perfect B&B. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Nothing bad to say at all.

Excellent B&B
We stayed Fri night and then went to a friends wedding on Saturday and stayed sat night, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable and the bathroom was big with a nice rain shower, Janet was very friendly and told us of nice places to eat Fri tea, we chose the Indian mazzi which was excellent, The 2 breakfasts we had were lovely, I would recommend this B&B and would love to stay there again..

We had a two night stay at Castle Green and were delighted with it. It was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, a choice of cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit salad, and all you could wish for in a cooked breakfast. Janet's note in the doorway read 'Arrive as guests, but leave as friends' and was certainly the case, we felt really 'at home'
