A great family get-away
We loved our stay at the Lighthouse villa. The house is very comfortable and fully stocked with anything you might need. Even the little things like nice wine glasses. We especially appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us to enjoy walking on the beach. The deck has great furniture to relax on and it is enclosed so that the dogs could sit outside with us (suitable for larger dogs). The Villa is a little oasis that you won't want to leave.

Pure Perfection
We use VRBO often. And this was the first time we ever returned to the same home. We loved it that much the first time around; and the second was no different! This house is one of the cleanest and most well stocked homes. The owners seem to have thought of all the details - everything labeled, phone chargers throughout, cooking supplies, you name it. My kiddos love the games in the basement! We played games, did puzzles, cooked many meals, and had some amazing family time. We all love the crows nest and the most amazing picturesque lake/lighthouse views throughout the house. We enjoyed so many beautiful sunsets, walks on the beach, hiking the dunes. We loved the new sleds at the home and sledding on the dunes! We just love exploring this part of Michigan through all seasons. We’ll be back :)

Beautiful Views of Lake Michigan
This is the third time we’ve stayed at one of their properties, our first at this house. As with their other property, they spare no expense in thinking of everything to make our stay perfect. Walks along the beach was close as was a number of nature preserves we explored. Another great stay for us with our GSD’s! Thanks for making our vacation perfect!

An amazing place to stay!
This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever used. The owners thought of everything . . . comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen (cooking) equipment, entertainment/ games for all ages, amazing views from the crows nest, quiet little reading nooks, a quick walk to the beach, along with a gated deck for our dogs that allows everyone to relax, sit back and enjoy the beautiful sunsets!

Beautiful West Michigan Getaway
Fantastic beach house! Very roomy with top notch amenities. We didn’t want for anything. Very beautiful location and easy walk to the beach. Awesome sunsets can be seen on the beach or right from the deck. Would return in a heartbeat!

Amazing
My family and I had an amazing time. The house was gorgeous, clean, and had pretty much everything you would need for a stay. It was spacious with beautiful views and in a great location. I loved the porch, the beds were comfy, my husband fell in love with the coffee maker and the TV. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. I hope we can make it back some day.

Amazing Beachhouse
The house was a perfect setting. Every room had a beautiful view…dunes, lake and lighthouse. The deck was great for sunsets and star gazing. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. For a house that allows a dog, you would never know a dog was there. The house was clean and no doggie smell. Looking forward to our return visit. The Best! That sums it up. Beach time, dune time, great meals, campfires, climbing the lighthouse, and more.Our favorites ... the beach wagon, Breville coffee maker, beds, grill, beach towels, and of course the crows nest! Great memories at a beautiful venue!

Amazing location!
Loved this property right next to the lighthouse. Easy access to the beach but close to Silver Lake and all the activities nearby. Property was very comfortable and well stocked with high-end amenities- we couldn’t get enough of Sue’s perfect espresso blend! Beach wagon made transport easy! Thanks for a great stay!

30 year wedding anniversary family trip
We had an awesome family trip with our three children and their spouses. Home was in a great spot to do all our favorite things. Loved the home and the many extras. Only downside was the grill being unusable. We did however grill on the fire pit and made our steaks and shish kabob work. Loved, loved, loved the house and area.

Perfect
I can't say enough good things about this place. Beautiful, immaculate and super location!! The hosts thought of everything! The beach wagon was a lifesaver and we didn't need anything we brought. Their beach equipment was top quality and can't believe how all details were taken care of. It seemed more like getting to use your rich relative's place and not a rental. It is close to a lot of activities but seems so private. Perfect! Thanks for letting us share this amazing home!

Wow! This is such an amazing, beautiful house! The amenities are beyond any expectation. Everything you could possible use and more! The location is breathtaking. I could have just sat on the deck all day. And being on a dead-end street make it so quiet. We already booked it for next summer.

Family Getaway
We had our first family vacation here and it was wonderful! The house was everything we imagined it would be. It had great wifi service. My kids loved the toys and huge tv. Cooking on a gas stove was fun! The walk to the beach was amazing! I loved the guidebook in the coffee table. I am not familiar with small lake towns and didn't realize we would not have reliable cell service. Something to keep in mind if you need that.

Michigan sand dune retreat
We're always a bit apprehensive when reviewing pictures that make things seem a little too perfect. Typically there's a twist somewhere. Not so here. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, including the pillows. Bathrooms were clean and a good size. We like to cook in, so the kitchen is one place we focus on. Dishes and silverware all very nice and everything we needed. But the pots and pans were the best we've seen at a rental. We actuality commented that they must have forgotten to put out the "rental" stock. True nonstick and good quality like everything else, right down to the towels. Our favorite spot was the crows nest sitting area at the top of the house. Awesome views! The home is situated in a quiet area with beautiful views of the lake and lighthouse. Nice walking or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the scenery. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and even offered some activity ideas. Great place, great stay... Definitely looking forward to going back! Easy 5 stars.

March Visit
This is a well appointed beach home with attentive hosts. For day trips, consider driving south to the maritime museum in Muskegon, where you get to walk aboard the USS Silversides submarine. We also paid for a tour at Country Dairy and had time to interact with recently born calves. If you have star gazers in the family, the wrap-around deck is great and you may even get to see the northern lights (aurora borealis)!

Perfect!
Our stay at the Beaching Lighthouse Villa was perfect. The house was so clean and spacious. My husband, myself and our two girls (5 and 7) enjoyed a long weekend at the house. We arrived on a snowy day. The house is directly across for the beach. And has the most amazing views of the lighthouse. We had beautiful sunset every night. We spent hours dune climbing, exploring and walking the winter beach. We love this area but the summer, but it was so nice to experience it in a different season. It was the perfect place to snuggle in - lots of reading, games and puzzles! The owners were responsive and very helpful! We really didn’t need anything while there because the house was so tidy and well stocked. We brought groceries and never even left the house. We enjoyed all our meals in. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep meals and bake. The crows nest is awesome. My girls loved doing activities up there. I loved reading with the views. While we didn’t need it, the house was well stocked with some baby gear and beach supplies too (coolers, beach bags and blankets, towels)! The basement has magnetic darts, basketball hoop and a fun arcade game! We loved playing down there and enjoyed a family movie night. The details make this place even more perfect. The owners have switches labeled and phone charges around the house. None of us wanted to leave. We felt so recharged after a weekend here. We certainly hope to come back!

Incredible beach getaway (even in the winter!)
We stayed here for the Christmas Blizzard of 2022! We couldn't have hoped for a better home to get snowed in at! A literal stone's throw from Lake Michigan public beach/ state park; it's a wonder how a home with such a huge cathedral ceiling, and four large bedrooms can feel so roomy but so warm and cozy at the same time. The house itself is great, but the owners Joe and Sue were incredibly nice and they've put in so many luxury amenities: huge TV, fast stable wifi, darts and an arcade game with a bar counter in the rec room, espresso machine in kitchen. We loved staying here, will probably do this again next year, or maybe even try it when there's no snow!
