Christmas Apartment for us was a Gift!

Charming apartment
This property in Milan was very charming and spacious. There is plenty of room for five or more people. We stayed here at the beginning and ending of our trip as we had additional cities to visit. We loved the apartment. A favorite touch for me was the large windows, which make the space so sunny and inviting. The hostess was extremely polite and very helpful.

The listing included parking but when we asked about it, we were told it was an extra 60Euro. YOU NEED PARKING!! So we paid it, but that's not what the listing said. Red line across the street which was perfect. Apt was good.

Communication
Leading up to stay communication was not good. Trip of lifetime and I booked a year ago, even when I booked I got no response from owner. Emailed multiple times thru the year and no response. Two weeks before stay I was so concerned that I started looking at a new place to stay. Owner did finally respond. Place and location was very nice but honestly very nerve racking because lack of communication.

Great short stay
The location was excellent. There was plenty of space and sleeping options. Right outside the door to the left you’ll find Massimo Pica for excellent pastries and coffee. Not far away is Cin Cin for drinks and quick food. The hosts are extremely communicative. We would stay again.

Short but sweet stay in Milan
Stayed at this Flat in Milan for one night ... needed a place to stay so we could attend AC Milan soccer game on our way through to Bellagio. Check-in process was very smooth, owner was very responsive and great to work with. The flat was great, very clean, and very spacious for 8 people. Would highly recommend this place.

Very well appointed apartment in the shopping district with many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Subway less than 5 minutes away and hop on/hop off bus stop less than 10 minutes. Great communications and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic

Beautiful Flat - a great find - we loved our stay
Family of 4 with teens, absolutely loved this appartment. Very comfortable, roomy, and in a classy building. Lots of room, kitchen well stocked with supplies, lots of towels, everything thought through to make a great stay. Communications with the owners Gianluca and Gulia were great, especially as i had misplaced the check-in instructions, but they were available to help immediately. Close to lots of shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes on the M1 metro to the Duomo.

Fantastic home in Milan!
We stayed in this home during November 2022 with 4 adults and the home was just perfect for our needs. The host provided the check -in details for us which was a real plus since we were coming in from Rome and ready to relax. The home was very easy to access and walk in appeal was just beautiful with a lift which was a plus since we had a lot of luggage. The home was huge, plenty of bedrooms and baths with nice beds. A full kitchen and washer/dryer were fantastic since we were traveling for several weeks. Just outside the home, within steps, was the subway and shopping/restaurants galore. A nice grocery store was just a 5 minute walk away. I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Milan

Roomy, comfy and perfect location
Lovely apartment. Very clean. Lots of towels and kitchen supplies. So much room. Only five of us. We enjoyed the large living and dining room for unwinding at night. Bedrooms are spread out. Hosts were great with communication and provided recommendations for food and necessities. Just a few steps from the metro which was amazing. Easy ride to Duoma and Milano Centrale. There is a small lift to the 5th floor apartment. Building felt very safe. Enjoyed the craft beer and burgers across the street. Would stay there again.

Perfect place to experience Milan
Our host was perfect, and the property was nicer than the pictures can show. As good as all that was, having a Metro station a few steps from the front door opened the city up for easy exploration. Milan is a delightful and impressive city, and staying here made it all the better.

First time in Milan
This apartment was located central to the subway and within walking distance of everything we needed. We were able to do all the tourist things we had on our list in just a few days. This included visiting the Duomo and Terrazza, Divinci's Last Super, and a field trip to Como Lake! The apartment is huge and has all the amenities we needed, including efficient and quiet air conditioning, during a very humid few days. Our hosts were very responsive when 2 of the A/C units weren't turning on. It turned out to be an electrical issue in one wall the units were separated by. They were there within minutes and set up an extension cord to get the units power and we were all set! The apartment is also beautiful and was comfortable for our family.

Ou hosts were attentive and helpful in every beer possible way. Accommodated our early arrival, arranged a private early-morning van to MXP, guided us to a pharmacy for COVID testing, etc. The apartment was even better than expected. A can’t miss if you come to Milan.

This apartment was beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed and very roomy! The owner was quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Only 2 snags. The first was that the door lock broke and we couldn't get in on our second day. They were quick to get someone to fix it, but we had to wait a few hours to get in, which just sent us back our discovering the amazing city of Milan. The area it is located in is nice, with a daily clothing and leather market out front and lots of good shops close by, and only 2-3 metro stops to the Duomo. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a family that plans to visit Milan! Grazie!

3 Couples, 3 Days in Milan
Let me start out by saying that our host, Gianluca, was very responsive on email and a big help during our stay. When we arrived at the property we were able to enter, just as we were instructed to do. We had MANY bags as we had been traveling for a while before arriving in Milan. The lift is quite small, so we had to make a few trips, but we were very grateful there WAS a lift! When we did our first walk-through of the apartment we were delighted to see comfortable sleep spaces for all of us and a wonderful gathering room with a table and sofas. Our first evening we were happy to stay in as it was rainy. The second evening was lovely so we inquired as to access the beautiful terrace shown in the photos. We learned that this terrace was for the "other" property in the building and we didn't actually have access to it. This was disappointing to our group as we had selected this property primarily based on this terrace. So if you choose this property, which I recommend you do, you might want to inquire as to which of their two properties you are actually renting.

Visited twice in two weeks from Texas
Pros: Very nice property. Beds very comfortable. Loved the antiques. Linens very nice. Great place for families (we were traveling with 6 members). Elevator a big plus being on the 5th floor. A/C worked wonders in the August heat. And this couple went out of their way to arrange for a driver to pick us up at the airport and two weeks later to take us back. Super location in regards to the subway.......just steps outside the front door. Loved our stay BOTH times and would definitely recommend to others and return. Only a single con: Two antique chairs in the living area need to be recovered if the value would not be affected. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with our family.

Amazing accommodations for large family
3 BR, 2.5 bath with large living area, nicely supplied kitchen and washer/dryer. 5th floor overlooking the city. Accessible by elevator. AC in all 3 bedrooms and living room only! Extra large Generals House! Very nice linens, pillows, and bath towels. Beautiful floors and antiques! 2 queens, 2sets of bunk beds (1 set in a 3rd bedroom, 1 set in a room with a queen.) 1 sofa bed and 1 Murphy bed both in living area. Will definitely return!

We loved the general's home, it was spacious, clean and beautiful. The furniture was gorgeous yet usable. I could have stayed forever. Loved the details. Appreciated the washer and dryer, dishwasher and all the supplies. The AC in every room was wonderful. Loved the book that you can sign. Felt welcolmed with all the personal touches to include the extra sheets, comforter, towels, pillows etc.. Order parking ahead it is a must. Location was perfect steps away from the metro

Great location
The property is very spacious. It’s in a neat part of Milan, feels like wrigleville in Chicago, nice neighborhood. It’s also right next to a metro stop so very easy to get to. The owner is very nice and helpful. We were trying to watch the Wimbledon on tv and couldn’t find it, he came over and helped us for half an hour. Very nice. We would like to stay there again when we go back. AC works well throughout the apt.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us and the location was outstanding. The host met us at the door and was very helpful. There is an underground garage if you bring your own vehicle to park for a fee. It is very difficult to find parking in the street.

Needs cleaning.
Large apartment, but very dirty. Understand that it is old, but needs a good cleaning. Shower did not drain and dirty greasy water backed up immediately. Towels were old and grungy. It is right in the heart of the main streets and shopping, but glad we only had to stay two nights.

Dear Guest, I gladly accept your criticism for the cleanliness which, according to what you write, was not up to the quality of the house. (at that time our housekeeper was on vacation, there was another person, so it may be that the cleaning of the house was not as accurate as usual.) and thank you for reporting some towels that I have already taken steps to change. What really amazes me is to attribute to our house the evaluation of a star, which is usually attributed to apartments with serious faults, which you do not mention in any way in your review. But I am comforted by the fact that all the guests who preceded you think very differently and have evaluated their stay in our house very positively. Reviews help us to improve our work, but when, clearly, they are overly and exssively negative as your, most damaging those who practice them that the one to whom they apply

Great place for our family vacation
Our family of 6 with 3 generations recently had a stay in Milan and this apartment worked out great for us. The only thing that could have been better are the beds are fairly firm/hard which we were not used to. Other than that the stay worked out great for us.

Great Location!!
The Apartment was very well located on a main road (forgot the name). Easy access to public transport as there is a metro station almost in front of building. Lots of restaurants and fashion shopping nearby. The apartment building was equipped with an elevator which is a Godsend to tourists with lots of luggage. We were a group of 11 family members traveling and the apartment was spacious enough to accommodate us all comfortably. The washer/dryer were the best I used out of all the places we visited. The house was very well stocked in the laundry and kitchen. They have a beautiful library of books in both Italian and English. I met with Gianluca and he was super friendly and helpful. He even offered to accommodate us by holding our bags after checkout should we want to explore the city a bit longer. There is also an apartment guide with maps, dining, shopping and sight-seeing suggestions and info which came in handy for us. Only downsides to the apartment I found were: the bathrooms doors do not lock, and there's very little storage/closet space for our clothes so we had to leave all our luggage open and rummage through to get what we wanted to wear. Also, somehow, we heard everything that happened out in the street so if you're a light sleeper, I suggest you stay in one of the back rooms past the kitchen and not the front ones which face the main road. Overall, a great stay.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und sehr praktisch gelegen. In der Umgebung gibt es alles was man braucht und zur Innenstadt sind es nur ein paar U-bahnstationen. Die Einrichtung ist gut, alles Notwendige (und mehr) ist da und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zu siebt in der Wohnung, das geht mit den 2 Bädern prima. Elevator saved us the climb to the fifth floor.
APARTMENT: it was on the fifth floor and there was the working elevator. We had the General's House. The apartment was very close to local shopping, local restaurants, local supermarket called PAM. It was clean. PROPERTY Management: He greeted us and oriented us to the apartment. He was resourceful when asked about kitchen and cleaning supplies.

We had a great stay at the general’s apartment. It was plenty big for our party of 8, conveniently located to underground transportation and great restaurants & shopping. The communication was fantastic! We had a late flight, we were allowed to check out after the assigned time. Plenty of towels, supplies, air conditioners in each room and a washer/dryer which was really appreciated at the end of our vacation. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This stay was at the end of our Italy trip. We loved this location and the owners. Our flights were cancelled and the owners served us very well with taxi and information support.. We loved their information book in the apartment. There were 11 of us and they prepared a bed and plenty of towels for us all. Location was ideal
An excellent location close to the restaurants and an easy walk into the main city centre. Residence had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our too short a stay. Communications in English were really appreciated and our stay was very enjoyable. Would use this location again as it is also along the main tourist Blue bus line so when sight seeing it was very easy to just jump off for a short walk back to the home.

Spacious apartment close to metro station
Guila and Gianluca helped to make our stay in Milan a wonderful experience. Communication was excellent and if we had questions or needed something, they were always at the door within minutes. The apartment was in a secure building with plenty of sheets, towels, along with a washer and dryer and beds were comfortable. The spacious living room was a great gathering place for eight of us who stayed here. The apartment could comfortably sleep and accommodate at least 12. If we return to Milan we will definitely stay here again.

The photos didn’t reflect the actual property, it looks as if it’s the same property on the listing but in reality is 2 seperate properties. We were very disappointed when we arrived to the property and we were crammed into the apartment that should only fit 9 people and we have 11 people. Beds were set up in the rooms where they are 1-foot apart enough room to get in and out. There are 3 comfortable beds and the rest is futons, rolling beds and sofa beds. We paid a lot for the property. The only nice thing is the 1 minute to the local station which can take you to most of the city attractions. This property should only to accommodate for 8 people . Everything is very old . The host responsed to our questions on a timely manner. We never see the host . Our family didn’t have a good experience for the price we paid

I am very sorry that you have not been satisfied with your stay, but I believe that your criticism does not correspond to the truth. 1) The house is very large, and comfortably accommodates up to 14 people, as evidenced by many other reviews. 2) In the house there are six large beds: two double beds and 4 single beds. And four sofa beds: two double and two singles. You have used all the normal beds and only a sofa bed, 3) The price you paid, about € 30 per head per night, does not seem so high, considering also the fact that the house is located in a very central area of ​​the city, and in a precious building of the twenties. You also paid for 10 people, but you stayed in 11, without notifying me and without paying the surcharge planned for one more person.
